“We should,” Clint starts with, then he pauses. Bucky can’t see it very well but it’s clear he’s thinking hard about it. His body still heaves, desperate for air.
Bucky reluctantly supplies, “We should stop?” and hopes that Clint can hear that he doesn’t want to. That he wants to keep going. That this is the only time he’ll get a ‘friend’ who'll let him so close and like it. That he knows the second Clint says they stop is the second that this ends and never starts again.
“Do you want to stop?”
