Sheriff Noah Stilinski is absolutely over their shit. Which is how the two of them end up chasing a monster through the woods during a freak rainstorm.

He is so lost in his own thoughts, he barely notices that Argent orders coffee for himself and green tea for Peter. Jasmine. He looks at the steaming mug in surprise. He’s even more surprised when the other man also orders cake and it’s lemon cheesecake. Peter stares, then he looks at Argent, arching a brow.
Argent clears his throat. “It’s your favourite."
Peter swallows. Something heavy presses on his chest. “Only my family knows that.”
Argent stirs his coffee. No milk, no sugar. “I do too. We’ve been here before. Many years ago."
