Welcome to the sixth Swan Queen Supernova Challenge: Wish Upon A Star!
We are your friendly neighborhood longfic challenge, in the tradition of big bang challenges everywhere, including our very own Swan Queen Big Bang challenge (run by the lovely damelola and writetherest for four successive editions before they hung up their boots).
Our mission is to produce collaborative fanworks between our fandom’s writers and artists — original SQ fanfiction (10,000 words minimum for Supernova, 5,000 words minimum for our spin-off Reverse-Bang style Protostar Challenge) and accompanying fanart or fanvids.

Emma and Henry are preparing a surprise birthday party for Regina and it’s up to Emma to distract Regina so she doesn’t discover anything, which is hard because Regina is always wary and wants to know everything that’s happening. In a way of trying to distract the brunette, Emma ends up kissing her unexpectedly and causing a riot of emotions on both sides. Will they know how to deal with the unprompted consequences?

I feel so lucky to have two authors on this piece. I had a dream that I created this art for Supernova. Laurathechef84 and Regine Manzato have helped this dream come alive. Both stories are amazing!!! What talent. I love that Regine Manzato took her story in an unconventional direction, making me laugh. I love that Laurathechef84 took the art concept and used it to create an alt-canon story that is the SQ story we deserved. Thank you.
I can never say "Thank you" enough to the Super Nova mods for all you do!
And always, thank you to my wife who is my encouragement and support.
