Swan Queen Winter Solstice 4
Swan Queen Winter Solstice 4 is a fic and art challenge set during the winter of 2024-2025. Inspired by classic SQ events such as Supernova and Advent Calendar, our challenge seeks to promote creativity, productivity, and community during a part of the year that has traditionally been devoid of SQ fandom events.

Regina felt soft fingertips brush against her wrist. “And where does that leave us?” Emma asked, her gaze now fixed to Regina’s soulmate mark. “Our words match. Are we…? you know…”
“Be honest with yourself, Miss Swan,” Regina said curtly, ignoring the way her heart seemed to flutter from the touch. “Do you actually believe that our relationship—if you can even call it that—resembles the love shared between soulmates?”
Emma mulled the question over, then shook her head. “I think I would know if I was in love with you.”
“Likewise.”

“Keep the change.” Captain Mills taps her hand twice before backing off.
“Who am I to argue with that?” Emma shrugs, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips despite herself as she throws the coins inside her apron’s pocket.
The hint of a smile crosses Captain Mills’ face, that seemingly permanent scowl softening at the edges. She raises her tankard in Emma’s direction. “Aye, aye.”
