Summary
Just before the final fight against Charon Industries on Chorus, during Epsilon’s shattering, Epsilon accidentally fucks up with Wyoming’s armour enhancement in the Meta’s- now Tucker’s- suit and gets sent back in time to when he first got implanted into Washington.
Scared he’ll fuck up again and make Washington go insane, he tries to keep his distance while being in Wash’s mind. But that only makes him all the more curious to Wash.
Can Epsilon figure out that Project Freelancer and the Mother of Invention is set to crash and burn in weeks time? And will he stop it? Or just try to figure out how to go back to his own time so he can die just like he planned to and not waste such a kickass monologue? Idk let’s find out!

"Jeez.. Didn't expect you to be so rough on me, old friend." York's strained speech travelled through the speakers of his helmet, and Washington jumped back with much more than a yell in surprise. He hadn't been expecting him to talk, nor for his voice to sound so different than normal.
"What the hell?! You're meant to be dead! I heard--I thought-- but Command--..." Washington's murmurs trailed off, trying to make any sense of the situation. Okay, so definitely not dreaming.

Church goes quiet mid-sentence.
Not the normal kind of quiet where he’s sulking or thinking up an insult. This time was different. Sharper.
His hologram stiffens. The edges of his form begin to blur, the rifle glitching in his hands. It melts away into pixels as Church reaches up to clutch his head, only for him to suddenly flicker out.
“Epsilon?” Carolina says, concern bleeding into her voice.
