Summary
Most of these stories stand alone (ie you don't need to read any other to understand one), but they are all set in the same alternate universe.
I have ordered them in order of when in the timeline the majority of the work is set. Rites is set by far the earliest, before Zhuge Liang even meets Liu Bei. The other one shots and short series cover periods that overlap in many cases, but all ending before the events of Clouds and Rain.
Please heed warnings, especially for Covering Your Ears to Steal a Bell. Just because you enjoyed the other works in the series does not mean you will enjoy that one, because it is very dark. Please take care of yourself.

Well, wow.
I've been walking around thinking about this fic for a couple of days now. Finally, I was able to gather my thoughts and write a review, aheha
My friend doesn't know anything about Stranger Things at all, but I yapped to her about this fanfiction anyway AHAHD
I don't even know where to start... An amazing story? Mike and Will's perfectly written relationship? Perfect character designs? Tension and emotionality? A stunning plot twist? ROAD TRIP AU, AFTER ALL??
I have no words to describe how beautifully the text is written. Your writing style sunk so deeply into my soul that I wrote out whole paragraphs in my note with quotes :,3
I am delighted with Mike, who is emotionally fragile, who goes to a therapist, overthings constantly, fears being weak and unneeded, and struggles to understand his feelings :(
And I love the more confident, flirtatious Will just as much, who incredibly desires reciprocity, love, and being seen. For how many years he's been trying to suppress his feelings for Mike and "move on," it hurts so much...
They feel so grown up here 😭💔
I'm afraid to start discussing Mike and Will's relationship in this fic in more detail because I WON'T SHUT UPPP
When reading, I felt the full range of human emotions. Everything inside me was shrinking, as if I had experienced everything myself.
And in fact, I believed that the story with El would turn out to be true, and they would really find her :( The plot twist really impressed me, but also I was so saaad, because that means that El is truly dead and there's no hope...
I can't help but mention the road trip au, because it took me back to the days when I was reading "Running On Air" by eleventy7 :,D Since then, my love for this trope is incredibly strong, which is why I was attracted to your work. It's just that road trip aus are always something personal and intimate, marked by lengthy heart-to-heart talks, enjoyable silence, or suffocating reluctance to speak. And I really needed this kind of work, where Mike and Will discuss all the accumulated feelings and experiences in private for a long time and honestly. And it's like there's no one else in the world but them.
I still have so much to say and I definitely forgot to mention something, but it's the middle of the night, I've been writing this review for about an hour, and I'm falling asleep. So I just want to thank you for your hard work, this fic is forever in my heart :,3
P.S. Oh, and yes, I'm crazy when Will calls Mike "Michael" too

Summary
Durin has learnt a lot about "courting" and "romance" from observing humans. He still doesn't really understand much, but according to his observations, he definitely thinks there's something "going on" between Albedo and Wanderer. Durin decides it's up to him to do something about it, and begins his great undertaking of a certain task he's heard of: the art of "match making".
Albedo was speechless for a moment before finally speaking up. “Durin,” he asked nicely, “just how many people did you ask about this?”
Wanderer watched with apprehension as Durin mentally counted on his fingers, distinctly feeling the physical sensation of a rock dropping into his stomach, as Durin’s two hands ran out of fingers and he had to start fresh on his left hand once again.

Ah, shit. Here we go again, he winced internally as his friend asked whether he’d like truth or dare. The dares had been working just fine for me. If I stick to them and choose truth only sporadically to throw them off, it’ll be alright.

Nie Huaisang didn’t miss a beat.

Wei Wuxian gaped. He was only faintly aware of Jiang Cheng spitting out a mouthful of his drink somewhere to his left.
