Cold. Dark. Wet. Arthur hung in that dank cellar for three days, turning from prideful to panicked to down-right pathetic. Rotting, alone and for one of the few times in his life, completely and utterly terrified.
“His shoulder pulsed and oozed, lines of purple and yellow reaching across his arms like spiderwebs. He has started to get more feverish, illness making his mind delirious. Thoughts shoot off like buckshots, cycling through a million contradictory feelings. He's never wanted to live so badly. He's never wanted to die so badly. The delirium is a crutch of sorts though, acting as a catalyst for his derealization. Delusional and numb, he stares forward blankly. The sickness in his mind is crafting daydreams of fishing trips and long adventures on horseback. Visions of a setting sun over the pond at Clemens Point, his family laughing and drunkenly singing songs by a campfire.”

This is the story of how Josiah Trelawny joined the Dutch Vanderlinde Gang and his long and passionate relationship with Arthur Morgan. I based this off of how I and many others feel there is a lot of secret queer communication in the game, especially from characters like Josiah Trelawny. A lot of things from his dialogue is left in mystery. Stuff which Arthur always seems to understand. So what if some of Arthur and Josiah’s interactions in the game play were coded talk referring to more private moments. A long building love story unfolds.
This story will eventually run past Ch. 6 of the game itself. High Honor. -

During Blessed are the Peacemaker's mission:
Dutch orders nobody to leave camp in search of Arthur, but John can't sit around. He knows something is wrong, and if it means openly defying Dutch to search for his brother, then he's going to do it. After a tense confrontation, John heads out of Clemon's Point with friends to search for his missing brother. Or: What I think happened during this mission, because we don't see most of these characters in the camp upon Arthur's return after being captured by the O'Driscolls. Or: How John earns the respect of the ones who matter in the camp.
***Dutch’s dark eyes lost their usual touch of calmness as he walked forward to stand next to him. “You don’t want to do this, John. You left the gang once already. Do you believe defying me is that way to do things? Do you really think these fine folk will stand by you? A lot of people here don’t know who you are.”
“Then they’re ‘bout to find out,” John retorted. “I ain’t sitting by while Arthur’s out there, likely hurt or worse. He’s family. Thought that meant something to you once.”
