Summary
Frisk, driven by their family to climb a mountain with a legend surrounding it of its hikers' disappearance with a short length of rope, finds the perfect pit to hang over. But as the rope slips, and they fall into the abyss below, they find that though it has many dangers, maybe, if they can learn and follow all of the rules perfectly this time, just maybe, they can find a home hidden in the unknown.

Summary
Frisk should be fine.
Everyone is on the surface, the sun is shining and bright, and their family is blissfully happy as they pursue their dreams in a world they’d thought locked to them.
Frisk is fine, because this is what they always wanted. So what if their scars ache and magic flashes behind their eyes every time they blink? So what if the copper of blood rests thick on their lips? So what if terror catches in their throat and stills their heart when their family ruffles their hair?
All those hands that have hurt them are achingly gentle now, and there’s nothing wrong anymore. There’s nothing for Frisk to fear.
It’s just the occasional (frequent) bad day, and bad days pass.
So Frisk chokes back bitter accusations that bubble up like poison on their lips, because Frisk isn’t allowed to be anything other than fine.

“You hurt me! You killed me! Of course I’m scared of you! How could I not be?!”
The words tear out of Frisk’s raw throat, and they don’t bother to choke back their sob this time, their hands shaking too hard to sign.

Summary
Frisk’s dad Sans and uncle Papyrus are royal guards. That’s pretty much all Frisk knows about their jobs. Frisk doesn’t know much about their past nor what they actually do for work. All they know, is that they have to wear their monster disguise every day or they’ll be caught. They know that humans who are caught in the underground die. But what happens when Frisk slips up and accidentally alerts the whole of the underground to their presence?
Sans is struggling hard trying to balance being a parent and his job. He wants to be around for Frisk, but he has to satiate Asgore lest he find out Sans’s secret.
Papyrus really wants what’s best for his family. He’s worried about Sans and how stressed out he’s been. Sometimes he worries that Frisk doesn’t have enough social interaction.
I’m so excited about this, I’ve been working on this project for 3 years at this point and I’m so so so happy I’m finally able to post it. It’s still a work in progress, but it’s going well so far! Constrictive criticism is appreciated, especially if you catch a spelling error of mine (just be nice about it please).

After the events of the true pacifist route in Undertale Red & Yellow (with Frisk choosing to stay with Toriel):
Monsterkind has been living peacefully on the surface among humans ever since a young child, Frisk, saved them from their long captivity in the underground.
All is well for Frisk and their friends. All except Clover, a young boy who was recently brought back to life by Asriel Dreemurr as gift for his selfless sacrifice in the underground. While he appreciates his second chance at life, he has never gotten over a friend he wishes he had never had to say goodbye to. Chara Dreemurr, the first human to fall into the underground, and one of two ghosts, alongside Clover, who guided Frisk through their journey, has not forgotten about her friend either. Unlike Clover, Chara was not given a second chance at life, and continues to watch over Frisk on the surface. While she enjoys Frisk’s company, Clover has always been at the forefront of her mind. Unknowingly to Clover, there is one way for Chara to return to the living realm. However, Chara has been hesitant to act on this.
After all, such an act would require a permanent marriage of souls.

Frisk runs through corridors that twist and stretch as if the Underground itself remembers every fear they’ve ever felt, walls leaning inward and ceilings dipping closer with each step, hallways folding back on themselves like half-formed memories trying to trap them.
The howling moves through the stone and through their bones, layered voices that rise and break in snarling tones only a child’s ears can hear, echoes that whisper fragments of things too sharp to name. Flickering lights, soft and golden like failing nightlights, cast shadows that stretch impossibly tall across walls shimmering with half.
A bedroom corner, a cracked door, wallpaper dotted with faded stars. Doors appear where none should be, one revealing a child-sized bed in the center of a looming room, another trembling as the howling sobs rumble. The Underground does not chase Frisk... it reshapes itself around them, bending, watching and waiting for the moment they stop running and remember everything they have tried to forget.

These past two days have been very strange for Kris, to say the least.
Most of this craziness is due to the Red Soul lodged within their chest. The actions taken, the nonchalance in combat, everything about it screamed difference from the usual Soul.
