Summary
Micheal Wheeler has spent been thirty-five years carrying his love and his grief without knowing what to do with them. Even in his fifty-third year of life, he hasn't figured out how to actually 'live.' Across the country, Will hasn't figured out how to move on from his best friend. Memories and the past bleed over their present-day life as they hear a song by a certain Midwest Princess on the radio, and Micheal comes to understand a few things about himself. Namely, that he has one more story to write; the story of how he and Will find each other again.

Summary
The vigilantes of New York and the Avengers never really got along. They disagreed on how to handle situations, but they didn't go after each other. Most of their problems were taken care of a couple years ago and now they just tried to stay out of each other's buisness as much as possible. Unfortunately, when Ronin and Black Widow go after the same guy this becomes increasingly harder.
An alliance formed from necessity slowly turns into genuine partnership, and later on maybe even friendship. Which is great, right? One would think, except Clin Barton's past mistakes are not only haunting him, but also seem to be repeating themselves.
And that was the one thing he didn't want to happen. Not again.Or: And exploration of Clint Barton's relationships with Natasha Romanoff, Kate Bishop and Matt Murdock (with some Hawkdevil sprinkled in, because there needs to be more fanfiction of those two), interluding with some fight scenes and coffee :)

Hypothetical question: If you were told you must abandon your entire life — a life with which you are perfectly satisfied — in order to attend a boarding school because you possess “abilities beyond the ordinary”… would you go?
Would you leave behind everything you have worked for simply because a stranger in a pointed hat asked you to?
Well, I did not want to either.
But no one asked for my opinion. And I ended up on a train regardless. Bound for Hogwarts. Which, apparently, is a castle full of magic and people who firmly believe in all of that.
My parents have a great deal to explain when I return. If I am allowed to return.
This could very well be an elaborately staged kidnapping.

“Thank you, ser padawan,” she said. The Queen’s voice adding an odd note of formality to the kind gesture.
The boy ducked his head, and Sabé could hear Eirtae’s wince. At this rate, he’d be lucky to make it to knighthood without back problems.
“N-not a padawan,” he murmured.
Sabé couldn’t hide the flicker of confusion, though fortunately the boy still hadn’t looked up from his intense scrutiny of the floor.
“Oh,” she replied. “I was under the impression that was the title typically given to a Jedi apprentice.” She chanced a look back at Rabé, who offered a nearly imperceptible shrug in response. Naboo might have been a bit isolationist in relation to the wider Republic, but even they knew what a Jedi padawan was.
As though confirming her thoughts, the pada—, the boy nodded. He still hadn’t glanced up, and she honestly wondered if something was on the floor to have capitvated his attention for so long. A quick look confirmed that no, it really was just a floor. A bit scuffed, but otherwise clean. No secrets of the galaxy tucked away between its durasteel plates.
“That’s correct, Y-your Highness,” he stammered. “But I-I’m not Master J-Jinn’s apprentice.”

Considering the circumstances- it had been about a month since they’d properly spoken- she was sure it was a butt-dial or something. Kara bent down slightly, attempting to pick something out through the heavy buzz of radio feedback through her low-quality speaker. For several seconds, she just listened, unable to hear much beside the faint rustle of fabric. Dumbass. As she had suspected, it was a butt-dial, a mistake. Kal knew better than to rely on her to save him.
Just as she reached forward to cut the comm, sound broke through, the unmistakable deep grumble of her cousin. It was a sound she heard rarely, though she understood it's weight the minute it echoed through the call; defeat.
“Kara- Please- Kara, can you hear me?”
Or- Kara Zor-El gets a distress signal from Clark while he's being held captive in Lex Luthor's holding cell. Reluctantly, she goes after him. However, not even Supergirl is immune to the green kryptonite poisoning her cousin.
