When starting work at grieving Mr Gold's shop, hired mainly due to his dead family prodding him in his ear like a conscience, she only came in that day because she was certain of two things; 1) the manacle tattoos on her wrists meant she must have been a genie back in the other land, meaning 2), her lamp was missing, possibly hidden amongst Rumplestiltskin's curios and trophies.
When she stops working there, it's because a de-aging spell meant for Baelfire has changed everything.
He has a responsibility, a little girl, a second chance...
But he's the Dark One, and it turns out there are new unexplored evils that had never occurred to him with Bae, with a son. A daughter, on the other hand…

Summary
I know it's been said before that none of the Disney sequel movies apply to the Descendants series of books or movies, but I asked myself the question: what if the sequels did apply? This series is what became of that question - a grimmer version of the Isle and it's inhabitants, a closer look at the people who set up the Isle in the first place, and at those who wish to take it down, or at the very least who wish to let the guilty be guilty and the innocent be innocent.

Au a partir de s2 e10
Emma no esta convencida de la culpabilidad de Regina.
Todos a su alrededor le dicen lo mala que es y la culpan del asesinato de Archie sin pensarlo un segundo, incluso sus padres, pero Emma no esta convencida, incluso después de ver el recuerdo de la mente de Pongo, Emma no lo cree, así que cuando llegan a arrestarla, ella aun no esta convencida de poder hacerlo, y no solo por Henry, ella de verdad cree que Regina dice la verdad, ahora solo debe encontrar la forma de que los demás lo crean, y parece ser que Pongo será su mejor aliado para demostrar su inocencia.
Una vez que lo demuestre, Emma no permitirá que quien viene tras Regina la toque a ella o a Henry, la mejor manera de hacerlo, es siempre permanecer juntos.
