They’d never seen him with others, though they’d tried to imagine him sometimes, his stories of his family and what happened of a day, when he mentioned he had siblings who were twins and of course would never dream of separating twins who wanted to stay closer.

Yuuji’s face scrunched into a pout. He turned his hand so the smug little face had no choice but to stare directly at his big, shimmering eyes—the very picture of innocent pleading.
Sukuna’s grin deepened. Another harsh chuckle scraped the air.
“How do you intend to use it, then, brat?”
Yuuji blinked.
“Eh? Use it? Can’t you do it?”
Sukuna’s eyes narrowed.
“First asking to use my technique for trivial things and now demanding to switch places with me? Did you forget who owns this body?” He hissed the last words, voice flickering with heat.
Yuuji shrugged one shoulder, still cradling the puppy with his free arm. “Well… may I please use it, Sukuna-sama?”
That shut Sukuna up for a moment, intrigued.
The puppy licked Yuuji’s cheek gratefully.

Her complaints are muted, her mouth temporarily hidden underneath the fabric until it settles comfortably over her neck and shoulders. Her cheeks turn rosy and she touches the scarf with only the tips of her fingers like it’s something incredibly fragile, like it hasn’t already been through hell and back a thousand times over. Eren scolds himself for the confusing blend of pride, possessiveness, and affection viciously clawing at his heart at the sight of her wearing his scarf again. She closes her eyes as she not-so-subtly inhales his scent.
He wants to kiss her, to show her how much he’ll miss her even when he’s dead. And what an odd thought that is, since he’s certain there isn’t going to be anything waiting for him when he shuts his eyes for the last time.
