Summary
After Vox Machina liberates Whitestone from the Briarwoods' tyrannical rule, they discover a mysterious tome at Greyskull Keep. The book's cover bears a strange symbol—a fairy's tail intertwined with a twenty-sided die. Inside, they find stories chronicling their own adventures alongside tales from another world featuring a mages' guild called "Fairy Tail."
Before they can investigate further, unknown magic transports them to a realm filled with magic guilds.
There, they meet Natsu Dragneel, a fire Dragon Slayer; Lucy Heartfilia, a Celestial Spirit Mage; and Happy, a flying cat from Fairy Tail. After battling slave traders together, Vox Machina receives an invitation to join the guild.
But questions remain: Why do they appear in the book? Can they return home? Who orchestrated these events? The cross-dimensional adventure of "Fairy Machina" begins. -

The only survivor was the Bradbury's daughter, Laudna. Vex'ahlia, dealing with her boyfriend's death, takes two-year-old Laudna rather than let her go into the foster system. Its been three years and today is Laudna's first day of Kindergarten and Vex is kind of freaking out about it. She hopes that whoever Laudna's teacher is, she knows what she's doing.

Vex has to take her goddaughter Laudna in for her first day of school where she meets her teacher, Ms. Keyleth.

Summary

He should get out of here, quickly. Sequester himself away and make sure that no one else sees him like this and make sure that he's well-rested so he doesn't screw up all over again tomorrow. He should.
Vax is afraid that allowing himself to move even a single muscle will shatter the tense calm he's afforded himself, that the haphazard barrier he's constructed inside of himself will fall and leave him utterly helpless. It's coming regardless - he can feel the storm gathering already, had felt it building from the moment the Briarwoods had first frozen him - Vax knows that he's just fighting another losing battle. The pain is nearly blinding, but Vax doesn't move because he is the only one that controls it, he can do this, he has to.
