“Not happy to finally be able to admire your handy work, hmm?” you twirl around holding up the skirt of your dilapidated dress like you were entering a ballroom gala, batting your eyelashes with a fake, plastered smile. You lock eyes with him then, letting go of the fabric with a dramatic toss as you stalk towards him. You stand directly in front of him, rising to your toes to gain a little more height.
“I will tell you this,” you hiss. “I am here, alive, in spite of you.”

Aurel (Tav) is a broken soul Astarion brought Cazador only a year before the nautiloid invasion. This is what happens when they are both plucked into the sky and spit back out with a tadpole in their head, some heavy grudges, and terrible impulse control. Told in the style of the narrator, with lots of back-and-forth perspectives, i'm trying to flesh out a story through the minds and memories of a rag-tag group of heroes(?) barely able to hold it together, along with a Dark Urge threatening to make it just that much more difficult. -

Death and battle came easy; they seemed deeply ingrained in Tav’s skill set. Her ability to plan for and focus on the imminent and likely threats was uncanny. She craved the raw stimulus of obliterating a target, which came in handy now that she and her new companions needed to save Baldurs Gate. Starting with an Arch Druid.
What came much less easily to Tav was being able to look in the fellow druid’s direction without melting like an ice arrow in a campfire.Series
