After the interruption of his ritual, Solas finds his dagger missing and the only person who can tell him where it is is dedicated to stopping him from taking down the Veil. But with the Evanuris threatening not just the Veil but the whole of Thedas, they have to put aside their differences and work together. Solas plans to outmanoeuvre Rook, maybe even to win her over to his side. He is not, however, planning to fall in love with her. But it changes nothing. In the end, the Veil still needs to come down.
