Leo had spoken a lot of “last words” in his life -almost always as a joke, but watching as Krang One lumbered towards his slouched form, all grating, metal armor and fury, Leo wished he could have thought of something more meaningful to say as he released his hold of the last Krang and watched the light of the portal close in on itself.

Leo has a very very bad time in the prison dimension and then tries to act like he is fine. (Spoiler alert! He is not).Please be mindful of the tags, the first chapter is pretty rough with violence as Leo is in the prison dimension. Any other graphic violence/torture will come from nightmares.

Donnie blinked twice before his brow furrowed. "You're...not really a 'water person'?" he asked, making air quotes with his fingers. "April, I've seen you enter far too many swimming pools for that to be a factual statement."
"Yeah, the shallow end maybe," April replied. "Huge difference between three feet and six feet, Dee. It's just a hang up, don't worry about it."
Donnie's quick mind ran through all his memories of 'April in a body of water.' April standing in water? Sure. Kayaking upon its surface? Many times. But swimming? He actually couldn't recall a time where he'd ever witnessed her treading water.
"You...can't swim," he said slowly, his expression one of dawning realization.
Donnie takes it upon himself to teach April how to swim. The lesson in turtle biology is an unexpected bonus.

Summary
Growing up under attack and underground doesn't exactly set the turtles up for calming outdoors experience. When one grows up adapted to bombs and gunfire, something as simple as thunder can come off a lot more sinister.
OR
The turtles spent most of their lives underground and the rest of it under attack, so since staying in the farmhouse, natural sounds have been a lot less muffled. Safe to say, their first thunderstorm does NOT go well.

Summary
Ever since the capture of the Shredder, Big Mama's attacks have been ramping up in confidence, severity, and human casualties. She needs a new Battle Nexus champion to climb the ranks and face her newest, most exotic, suspiciously secret new foe, and she refuses to stop her mutations at a few dead humans.
Donnie usually wouldn't care. The escapades of the yōkai, frankly, are none of their business, but if it matters to their brothers, it matters to them.
It suddenly starts to matter a lot more when a particularly-nasty fight leaves their brothers incapacitated. It's only for a short amount of time, but if it happened once, it can happen again, and that is not something Donnie wants to risk.
Well, if Big Mama wants a new champion, they'll give her one. What could go wrong? They're in control... Right?

When Leo was little, as in extra little and barely a cupboard tall, his favorite superhero wasn’t Batman like everyone would’ve guessed. As he grew older, he grew wiser and his taste in heroes changed. It became Batman like the top of Leo's imaginary podium had been made for him since the beginning of time.
And Leo couldn't think of a better guy to be like.

In universe 2003, Donnie tries to experiment with the inter dimensional gun the 1987 turtles had given him. Instead, he accidentally creates a multiversal chat room for many different versions of his brothers, and counting.
It certainly makes life…interesting.TLDR: multiverse group chat between most iterations of the turtles. Starts with 2003, 2012 and 2018 but more are added as I go. 50% plot and 50% chaos.

Even as little tots, they all were very much aware that their little brother was different from them. They obviously weren’t normal, but Mikey acted odd, even for three young mutated turtles and one giant mutated rat.
Despite that, they didn’t care much about Mikey’s turtle antics, he couldn’t control himself and they couldn’t do anything about it, so they would love him all the same no matter what.

You’d think the other two would be used to this by now, if they did this a lot. The Doctor was unfazed by all the commotion, running around the control thingie, limbs going in all directions like a drunk octopus as he piloted the thing. Assuming he wasn’t bullshitting them and they weren’t about to die horrible deaths. With their luck that was still a very real possibility."

You and Raph have known each other for a couple years now, and as time has gone on, you've developed feelings for the turtle big enough to pick you up in one arm. Not that you've had the guts to tell him so, though- you value your current relationship of platonic cuddles too much to risk it.
Then, as spring looms over the horizon, you find yourself woken up from a cuddle session by something poking at your legs from behind.
(moving this out of the tags actually: hi this is the author after getting exactly 3 hours of sleep. i CANNOT stress enough that this is a hot accident and that (once everything's cleared up) neither party feels bad. while the possibility of it being rape is briefly discussed afterwards, it's made pretty clear that neither of them wanted or was trying to take advantage of the other and that neither of them holds what happened against each other. whether rape/noncon rustles your jimmies or not: ok 👍 that's not what happens here tho. it's just teetering on the hard-to-archive-warn line for me.)
