Lex Foster is (kind of) back on her feet. Fresh out of Hatchetfield County Jail, she's got a fresh start and a new shot at this whole 'being a responsible adult' thing. But the past doesn't tend to stay buried in Hatchetfield, and she'll need to learn how to trust and lean on others if she's going to take care of Hannah. And maybe, just maybe, she'll get to unlearn some of what she had to learn growing up.
This is a spiritual successor to 'Nightmare Time: Witch in the Web.' The story will make a lot more sense if you've seen that first, but it's not necessary.
