The cute one that was by your side the entire launch party last month!” Xuan Lu reminds him, giggling as she pulls him away from where he’s standing in place, staring at the man quietly working on a computer across the hallway.
Xiao Zhan stumbles after her. Thankfully, Xuan Lu is too distracted with her own thoughts to notice how Xiao Zhan’s tea sloshes over the side from his trembling fingers clutching his cup in a death grip as they walk back to the design department.
