“Zed?” Bdubs whispered, looking comedically horrified.
The man huffed a laugh at his expression and nodded.
The shorter man groaned loudly, pinching the bridge between his eyebrows, standing up and approaching.
“Oh, Jesus, dude, I’m so sorry! My terrifying sword skills must have scared the lights out of you!”
The Scientist brushed him off.
“Don’t worry about it, man. I don’t doubt for a second that Tango deserves it.”
At his words, Bdubs grew suddenly serious, crossing his arms resolutely.
“He does. Your boyfriend is an asshole. I hope he gets leprosy and dies.”

Summary
Etho's joined yet another death game. He's been doing this for a long time, probably longer than almost anyone else here. But something is different about Limited Life, leaving him floundering to reconcile what his past actions mean in the context of this new game. It's a fight to the death between Etho's avoidant tendencies and his struggle to build meaningful alliances. As his hours count down, the pressure is on to decide where his true priorities lie.

The hermits are a funny group of people. Their job is twofold. They work partly as a sanctuary for the truly helpless victims of hybrid trafficking, keeping them safe until an equipped shelter can take them in and teach them about the real world. They mainly infiltrate hybrid trafficking rings and take them down, rescuing those poor people who were kidnapped and used for profit.
They're good at what they do and their sights have now been turned onto the Watchers, an insidious and widespread trafficking ring that is known for incredibly rare hybrid collection. It's time to take them down, but who will they find along the way?
