call me mitten lady or just call me MITEN. or don't call me anything haha i’m just here to write.

petrichor (n. a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather) is my favorite word. i am an english major (on the pre-law path and minoring in russian) who likes angst, character studies, and long sentences—abundant with semicolons and em dashes, naturally. i work at my uni’s writing center and have had poetry published in undergrad lit magazines. irrelevant to writing, i like tea, rain, and scented candles. my ability to write is greatly hindered by not only being very bad at time management and being very tired, but also—if i may proffer—because the AMTA gods have stolen my soul; all of which are related in some degree to my being a university student.
