I prefer:
* no spoilers in chapter initial notes;
* no "warnings" about chapter in end notes (that's just CYA);
* no 10+ fandom mashups;
* beautiful arcs & developed characters
* no virtue signaling/morality posturing about author’s politics, for whose work you write fanfiction (honestly, just write & post good stories!)
* spell check & beta cuz more than 1 typo per chapter is just cringe.

I appreciate & admire writers. Please, don't destroy your dignity with habits of grandiosity. You ARE amazing & the work will reveal that.
