Howdy! My pen name is Sabara Winner, inspired by an OC who was the sister of Quatra Winner from Gundam Wing :3
I'm an old hat whose been writing fanfiction since the early aughts on FFN, but have been moving some things over to AO3. Got my start in old fashioned paper with a 5 volume longfic that was an enormous crossover with DBZ, Gundam Wing, Pokemon, Tenchi, and a slew of OCs. I used to read it to my friends as "bed time stories" and the joy they got out of it is what sort of inspired me to share my stories online.
I moonlight in several fandoms, following whims of fancy and whatever ships or stories grab my imagination. Like a stray dog I wander in and out of series', coming and going as I please. Took a break after 2007 and didn't start writing again until Urusei Yatsura swept me off my feet.
I like writing tragic love, passionate romance, unspoken and unbreakable bonds, and delving into the mentality of characters, and using real-life experiences to craft stories. I pride myself in my dialogue and characterization skills (which aren't perfect but I've gotten enough compliments over the years that I'm confident in them). I used to only write oneshots and drabbles, but after returning have done 2 longfics. They are murder.
My favorite author is Jack London, which is why a lot of my writing is sort of...old fashioned?
I'm super happy to engage with people, but tend to be super shy, a bit introverted, and hella awkward. But I do my best to be responsive and friendly!
