Chapter Text

Jimin woke up as the Monday light hit his eyes through his curtains. A feeling of confusion overcame him as he squinted his eyes trying to find his phone. Had he woken up before his alarm? How nice, he thought. He fiddled around on his nightstand and finally got a hold of his phone. It was 08:30. Fucking 08:30. He was supposed to be at work 09.00.

“Shit”, Jimin said under his breath as he jumped out of the bed. He had worked as the CEO Jeon Jungkook´s assistant for 4 years, and not once had he been late. Though he had a Bachelor´s degree in Human Resource Management and a Master´s degree in Business Administration, being an assistant is where his career path had led. “Fuck”. His mind was racing with thoughts about what his boss would think of this behavior.

Jimin preferred having good time in the morning to make sure he could look his absolute best. He loved spending his morning time taking scent infused baths or long showers, however, a two-minute shower would have to do for today.

He got dressed in a second and combed his blonde hair out of his face, trying to look somewhat presentable. He barely had the time to feed his cat. His own breakfast would have to wait. Before he knew it, he was out of the apartment, running down the street to a café right around the corner of the GQ Magazine company building, where he worked.

The first thing Jimin saw when he walked into the café was a long line. No. Not today. This was not the day for lines. He could feel sweat trickling down his forehead. Through his frustration he saw one of the café workers call him over. Jimin saw Alex, the barista, every day as he went to get coffee, and was pleased when he stretched out his arm and handed him two cups of coffee.

“Here you go”, he said as Jimin accepted the coffees. “Your regular lattes.”

“Thank you”, Jimin was beyond relieved that he did not have to stand and wait for that whole line of people in the café. “You really saved my life. Thank you”. Jimin smiled warmly as he turned and sprinted out of the café.

Jimin raced through the street, over the road and rushed past people. He could hear taxies horn at him for being in the way, and people shouting at him for bumping into them in his hurry. Living in New York, this was not uncommon. All that was on his mind right now was to make it to his boss’s office before the clock turned 9.

He ran into the office building, barely managing to squeeze himself into a fully packed elevator. “You okay?”, he heard Hailey, a colleague of his, ask. “Yeah”, he lied, a little out of breath, as he fixed his hair one last time. Hailey knew him well enough to not ask any further. Jimin´s face alone screamed “Do I seriously look like I´m okay?”

He strode out of the elevator the second it stopped on his floor. He looked at the big clock hanging on the wall in the hallway. It said 08:59. He made it. He fucking made it on time.

“You´re cutting it close”, another colleague jokingly noted as Jimin as swept by, on his way to the office.

“One of those mornings”, he replied. “Thank you, Kendall, for pointing it out”. To say that comment annoyed Jimin was an understatement. He had never been late to work. During all those years of working for the CEO Jeon Jungkook he had never once been late.

The blonde boy´s thoughts were interrupted as he felt someone crash into him - or rather, he crashed onto someone.

“Fuck”, Jimin shouted as he felt the warm coffee soak his shirt. This was not his day. That was a fact. Frustration overwhelmed the blonde as he felt his throat close up. He swallowed and took a deep breath.

“Sorry”, Jackson said with an understanding smile. “How about I lend you my shirt”.

“Really?”, Jimin was again relived by the kindness of the people around him. “Thank you so much. I owe you one.” Jimin hurried as he unbuttoned his own shirt and replaced it with the clean one.

“Don’t worry about it”, Jackson winked.

The air suddenly felt heavier in the office building. Jimin noticed everyone stiffen in their place as Jeon Jungkook entered the floor. No one dared move a muscle when Jeon Jungkook was around, inspecting their work. Jimin swallowed as he presented the coffee to his boss – the one that hadn’t spilled all over his shirt earlier.

“Morning boss.” He managed to make out the words despite being out of breath from everything he had encountered that morning.

Jungkook grabbed the cup of coffee as they walked into his office. “Morning”, he said, looking at his phone, not even sparing him a glance.

“You have a conference call in 30 minutes”, Jimin announced as Jungkook sat down in the chair by his glass desk.

“Yes, I know. It´s about the establishment of partnership with WIRED”, Jungkook answered bluntly as he opened his computer. He pushed his dark hair behind his ears as he made himself comfortable behind the desk. His hair was not, by any means, long but it was longer than Jimin´s and looked pretty soft. And wavy. Not that Jimin would notice.

“Staff meeting at 10”, Jimin added. “Also your Immigration lawyer called and said that-“

“Cancel the call, push the meeting to tomorrow”, Jungkook interrupted, not looking up from his computer. “Oh, and tell the lawyer to move forward with the deal”.

Jungkook had always impressed Jimin with his quick thinking and good organizational skills. Well, he had to be good to become the CEO of the company. It was not a job for the light hearted.

“Nicely done mr. Jeon”, Jimin smiled as he grabbed some papers lying on the desk.

“If I wanted your praise, I would have asked for it”, Jungkook sighed lifting the cup of coffee to his lips. This was the type of comment Jungkook would make when Jimin tried to be friendly. It infuriated Jimin sometimes, but he had gotten used to it, and knew better than to intrigue Jungkook.

Jimin was half way out the door when he heard Jungkook´s voice.

“Who is Alex?”

Jimin turned around on his heel and saw Jungkook eying the cup, conveying a rather confused look. “And why does he want me to call him?” Jungkook turned the cup so that Jimin could see the number drawn in sharpie on the cup.

Jimin struggled to find the right words to say. He froze in his spot as he felt Jungkook´s dark doe-shaped eyes fixed on him. Shit.

“That was originally my cup” Jimin finally decided on saying.

“And why am I drinking your coffee?” Jungkook raised an eyebrow. Gaze fixed on Jimin as if Jimin had a perfectly good explanation for this.

Jimin was unsure whether to tell his boss about the embarrassing situation he had just experienced, or to come up with something else. As usual, Jimin thought honesty was the best solution.

“Because I spilled your coffee”, Jimin admitted with a sigh.

Jungkook didn’t look angry, but rather surprised. He took a sip of the coffee and wore an astounded look on his face. The corners of his lips formed into something resembling a pitiful smile.

“So, you drink salted caramel lattes with cream?” The dark-haired boy asked with a downgrading smile, like he was somehow enjoying the fact that Jimin had gotten flustered.

“I do”, Jimin answered humbly still standing on the same spot on the floor.

“Is that a coincidence?”, Jungkook made a smirk at Jimin. The blonde boy felt his cheeks heat up as he turned his face to look out the window.

“It is”, Jimin expressed sarcastically. “I mean, it´s not like I would drink the same coffee that you drink just in case yours spilled. That would be pathetic”. It certainly was pathetic, the blonde boy thought. Not as pathetic though, as a man at 25 years old, drinking salted caramel lattes. With cream. And a caramel drizzle.

But truth be told, Jimin always ordered the same coffee as Jungkook to avoid these circumstances. He was still as surprised as he had been the first time he had heard Jungkook´s coffee order. It was hard to imagine his boss having such a sweet tooth.

“Well, I´ll take these to Mike´s office”, Jimin pointed at the files in his hand. He wanted to leave the room before things got more awkward. Jungkook had, long ago, stopped listening to Jimin and didn’t grant him the slightest attention as Jimin walked towards the door to leave the office room.

"Oh, and I need you around this weekend to help review some files”, Jungkook typed on his laptop.

"This weekend?"

Jimin had plans this weekend. He was going home to LA to hang out with his little brother. Like old times. They were gonna go out partying and catch up on all they had missed out on in each other’s lives.

«You have a problem with that?” Jungkook looked up now. Expecting an answer from Jimin. The blonde felt intimidated by his boss.

“No, I- It´s just that its- I had plans with my brother so I was gonna go home and- but it´s fine. I´ll just cancel my flight.” Jungkook had stopped looking at Jimin. His gaze had returned to the computer screen. It was obvious that Jungkook couldn´t care less about Jimin´s plans for the weekend.

The day went on as regular, with meetings and discussions and mails. Jimin usually spent his lunch break with Kendall and Hailey. He appreciated every minute he got to spend away from his boss. Being that man´s assistant felt more like a lifestyle than a job.

“You look tired”, Hailey said as Jimin sat down together with her and Kendall in the cafeteria. “Is it mr. Jeon?” The blonde girl sipped on an iced coffee as she made room for Jimin.

“Who else?”, Jimin sighed. “Just the usual”. He opened his Caesar salad and pushed his fork around in it. He didn’t even feel hungry anymore.

“I think he hates you”, Kendall joked and Jimin knew it was a joke, but he couldn’t help feeling there was some truth in what she was saying.

Jimin chuckled “Yeah he probably does. I think he hates us all.”
He kept on pushing his fork around in his salad until he saw Kendall´s gaze fixed on him, wordlessly reminding him to actually eat. He rolled his eyes and forced a bite of food into his mouth.

“You know the plans I told you guys about”, Jimin said after swallowing a piece of lettuce. “The plans to go meet my brother.” The girls nodded. “Well, guess who has to cancel them” Jimin pointed at himself.

“Damn, I´m sorry Jimin”, Hailey gave Jimin a caring smile as she put her coffee down. She gave off an "I feel sorry that your life sucks" kind of smile.

“Yeah, I´ll just have to rebook it I think”, the blonde shrugged. “I mean, it´s not like I´m not used to having to cancel my plans last minute.”

Jimin had gotten used to always knowing there was a possibility that he would have to cancel plans or stay longer at work. It bothered him, but not as much as it had done in the beginning.

“True” Hailey agreed as Kendall nodded and twirled her black hair around with her manicured fingers.

“But seriously, he can be such a dick sometimes”, Kendall laughed. “Remember when he made me do that conference call during my brother´s wedding. Without any notice beforehand!”

Jimin remembered. Kendall had been furious that she had missed her mother´s speech to the bride and groom. This, she had told him all about the next Monday.

“Yeah”, Jimin agreed taking another bite of his salad. “I mean, it was your brother”

“Right” she shook her head in disbelief. “It´s not like you get married more than once”

“In most cases”, Hailey added.

“So you´re saying Kendall should pray for her brother to get a divorce so she can attend his next wedding?” Jimin smirked.

“Wha-“

“That´s totally what she said” Kendall laughed before Hailey even had the chance to defend herself.

“Anyways. Go out today. Seriously”, Kendall leaned towards the blonde boy, stealing a piece of his salad. “I think you need some booze tonight Jimin”

“Yeah, since your plans got cancelled this weekend, why don’t you just go out today instead?”, Hailey looked at Kendall in agreement as she also leaned in and took a piece.

“I don’t know”, Jimin was skeptical to this idea. “It’s Monday.” It was never a good idea to go out on weekdays. He wasn’t exactly fond of being hangover in front of his boss. The blonde boy could already imagine Jungkook´s disappointed expression.

“Come on, just this once Jimin”, Kendall smiled at him. “You deserve it. You gotta loosen up a bit.”

Jimin couldn’t argue with that. He knew his day had been absolute crap, and nothing seemed better than going out for a drink.

“Bring your guys and go have some fun”, Hailey suggested as she put a hand on his shoulder.

“Alright I´ll think about it”, Jimin laughed.

--------

It was the end of the work day, only a couple more hours now and he could go home. Jimin was standing by the coffee machine, talking to Jackson and Kendall.

“Yeah, I bet he doesn’t have a life outside of this office”, Jackson added as Jimin and Kendall had kept talking about how much of a brat Jungkook could be sometimes.

“That’s probably why he doesn’t have a girlfriend”, Kendall chuckled. “Cause all he cares about is his job.”

Jimin and Jackson grinned. It was true. Jungkook never seemed to be in relationships. It wasn’t that Jungkook didn’t have a handsome face, because he definitely did. That was partly the reason he had made such a big name for himself. That, and the fact that he had been so young when he had taken over as CEO.

Jungkook had great communication skills, as well as an understanding of the appropriate methods of communication throughout business. The dark-haired man had learned to think strategically about the direction of the business and always took his time to listen to all the voices to make decisions based on what he had heard. From an early age he had developed his networking and relationship building skills, and of course, he had excellent leadership and management skills.

The boy definitely had talent and visuals. Personality, on the other hand, that was something he lacked.

The average personality reshapes frequently, every few years. But there was one person that never would. Jungkook would never change because he had been given his character too soon. Was he born that way, or did he develop his character because the environment he was born into had taught him to behave that way? It was hard to tell, but of what Jimin had interpreted, Jungkook´s father, being a business man himself, had probably influenced his son more than he realized.

Jungkook had moved to the US and gotten his bachelor´s degree in organizational leadership at NYU, as well as his master´s degree in business administration at Yale. He had then worked his way up to a position as CEO, significantly fast. His whole life looked as though it had been planned out beforehand, every single move. Jungkook would walk through life and out of it with the same determined steps, leaving nothing up to coincidence, changing nothing in his view of the world.

“Seriously? You´re wearing lip balm?”,

Jimin saw Kyle from the PR department, coming towards them. “What are you a f*g or something?”

Jimin had applied lip balm to his lips, lost in his own thoughts, but froze, as he heard Kyle´s comment. What? Shivers ran down his spine. Did he hear that right?

“I can´t believe you just said that”, Kendall immediately shot back as she put her arms around Jimin. This made the blonde boy feel at ease. Like he was somehow protected from the words Kyle had thrown at him. “That was very uncalled for.”

“Why would you say such an offensive word?”, Jackson asked, infuriated. Kyle rolled his eyes, looking offended that no one had agreed with him, and he walked away.

“What the fuck is his problem?”, Kendall gazed at Jimin, almost apologetically. She still held him tight in her arms and he now felt Jackson move closer to pat his back in support.

“It´s okay, don’t worry about it”, Jimin shrugged. He turned his head and he could see Jungkook walking towards them. Kendall and Jackson let go of the blonde boy in unison.

Great. Mr. Jeon. Just the person he wanted to see right now.

“I need you in my office Park”, the dark-haired boy expressed. His eyes trailed towards the Kendall and Jackson, as though he wanted them to mind their own business.

“Oh, okay” Jimin answered. “I´m coming”. The blonde turned to his friends and gave them a reassuring smile. He wanted them to know he was really okay.

The two men entered Jungkook´s office and Jimin was asked to sit down. Jungkook sat opposite him wearing a serious expression. Oh no, Jimin thought. This is it. He heard them talking badly about him. Fuck.

“What happened there?”, Jungkook asked him and the blonde boy froze in his chair.

Fuck, this was it. He had to tell him what he had said. This was officially the worst day of Jimin´s life. The room fell into silence. Jimin tried his best to pick his words wisely.

“What did Kyle say to you?”, The dark-haired boy interrupted Jimin´s thoughts. Kyle? Had he only heard the last bit? Well that was a relief, Jimin thought.

“Oh … um … he just- he found it weird that I wore lip balm” Jimin explained. “And- and then he called me a- “

F*g.

Was he gonna say that word? No, he couldn’t. It was such an offensive word. He couldn’t possibly say it in front of his boss. “Well the f-word.”

“Are you okay?”, Jungkook asked and looked genuinely apologetic.

Jimin had not expected such consideration from his boss. It almost threw him off. It wasn’t like Jimin and Jungkook couldn’t stand each other, it was merely that they didn’t talk about personal stuff. The black-haired boy had many times made it clear that Jimin´s job as his assistant was to help him with work, not babble about intimate subjects. Jungkook would usually say "we´re at work to do work, or what you do in your private life is your business, please don’t feel the need to share it", and that was a clear message for Jimin to not interfere with Jungkook´s personal life, nor speak of his own.

“Yes. I´m fine”, Jimin answered. “It didn’t bother me, I swear.”

It actually didn’t bother him that much. He had heard people aim derogatory language towards him many times before, and he had gotten used to it. Jimin had found out that he was gay at a very young age, and it would be wrong to say he didn’t get offended by the down-grading words when he was younger, but that was the old him, he didn’t care anymore. He had taught himself to not care about others opinion of him. It didn’t bother him anymore.

“Alright then", Jungkook said, his face emotionless. "You are dismissed”.

--------

Jimin pulled on a light blue blouse. The material shimmered in the night light, and the blonde boy thought it would be perfect for going out. He paired it with slim fitted black pants that defined his ass nicely. This was gonna be fun. He needed this. He had just had the worst day, at work, of his life. He deserved to have some fun. The blonde walked over to his jewelry box and picked up two dangly earrings. He put them on and looked at himself in the mirror. He knew he looked good.

Jimin met up with his friends Taehyung, Hoseok and Yoongi. They had just entered a bar and was now joined in a booth. Immediately a feeling of joy overcame Jimin, and he felt his body cool off as he was surrounded by his favorite people.

Jimin had met Taehyung in high school and they had been best friends ever since. Though they had very different interests – Taehyung worked as a painter and had his own art exabits – Taehyung was like a brother to him.

Through Taehyung, he had met Hoseok and Yoongi. Hoseok had met Taehyung at an art gallery where they had immediately fallen for each other. Yoongi had then met Hoseok through work. Being a choreographer, Hoseok had met Yoongi - who worked as a music producer – through a project where they had worked with the same artist.

To be honest, Jimin – being a dancer himself – had been rather starstruck the first time he met Hoseok. But the panic and fluster Jimin had felt had immediately disappeared when he had gotten to know Hoseok. His bubbly personality had shined through and filled Jimin with a joy so jubilant he had been unable to stop smiling. Not liking Hoseok was as impossible as catching a black cat in a room without lights.

“God, it´s been so long since we´ve been out”, Tae grinned as he took a sip from his Mojito.

Taehyung´s hair was the color of a bright blue sky, though he would sometimes color it mint green as well. It had become Taehyung´s personality trait to have his hair colored. He was a creative soul, and showed it of not only in his work, but also in his sense of fashion. Today he was sporting a dark green blouse with tiny white flowers on it. He had pared this blouse with a pair of tan pants and a dark green jacket that went well with the blouse.

“You literally went out last weekend”, Yoongi laughed and the blue-haired boy jokingly rolled his eyes.

When it came to fashion Yoongi was quite the opposite of Taehyung. He preferred a rather dark, colorless style, that matched his black hair. In contrast to his dark presence, he had a soul sweet as sugar. Yoongi was not the type to show his affection physically, but that didn’t mean the other boys didn’t see his warmth shine though.

“I meant the four of us”, Taehyung smiled and turned to Jimin as if he was the one to blame for not being able to go out more often.

“Yeah, I know I haven’t been out with you guys so much lately”, The blonde sighed. “But you know how Mr. Jeon can be sometimes. He keeps me over the weekend a lot” It was true, Jimin always had to think about the possibility of having to stay as work over the weekend, when he made plans. It sure was a hassle sometimes.

“Yeah we know Jimi”, Yoongi ensured Jimin. “We just miss you.” Hoseok made a fingerheart as Taehyung blew a kiss at Jimin. The blonde boy caught himself smiling at all the affection he was receiving. His day was instantly getting better.

“Don’t you think I miss you too?”, Jimin grinned. “I would much rather spend time with you guys than that devil.” The boys chuckled as his comment. Jimin felt frustration overcome him by the mere thought of his boss. He pushed the thoughts aside. This was no night to dwell on his dissatisfaction towards Jungkook. Today he was gonna relax and catch up with his friends.

“So how was you guys’ day at work today?”, Jimin changed the subject.

“I`ve actually gotten a lot of inspiration for my new piece”, the blue-haired boy smiled proudly. He usually spent his days in his art studio losing himself in his creativity.

“Oh, what are you gonna do?”, Jimin asked. He loved hearing about Taehyung´s creative ideas.

“I was thinking of painting a portrait of my Hobi”, Taehyung looked over to his boyfriend with glee. Hoseok grinned and kissed Taehyung on the cheek.

“You guys make me feel even more single than I already am”, Jimin whined and he caught Yoongi´s eye as they both shared the status of being single. Yoongi never seemed to care much about being in relationships, and he seemed contempt with that. Jimin on the other hand, did feel like he missed having a special someone in his life, but he knew it would be hard being in a relationship when he had Mr. Jeon to deal with 24/7.

“I´ve just been working on a new choreography for Ariana Grande. I think it´s coming together well”, Hoseok said lifting a class of pina colada to his lips as he brushed his dark-brown hair out of his face. Hoseok had made a name for himself through both being an extraordinary choreographer, as well having a bubbly and creative style of fashion. Today, however he wore ripped blue jeans with an oversized black t-shirt. To compensate for the lack of liveliness and colors, he had paired the outfit with a bright red crossbody clutch.

“Wow, that so cool Hobi. Ariana Grande? That’s huge” ,Yoongi smiled and they decided to do a toast to Hoseok´s amazing work as a choreographer. Jimin patted Hoseok´s back to show his appreciation, as the boys woooowed and cheered.

“Just the usual. I´m finalizing a song that I´ve been working on. You know, just communicating with the audio engineer and musicians to decide on some last-minute details”, Yoongi answered after being asked how his day was. “What about you Jimin?”

“Oh, actually I´ve had a really bad day”, Jimin answered gloomily as he recalled the day´s events. “Like I told you on the phone Tae”

“Oh yeah”, the blue-haired boy tried to hide his smile, and Jimin knew he thought it was quite hilarious that Jimin had managed to spill Jungkook´s coffee all over himself. “That sounded bad”

“What happened?”, Yoongi asked stirring his gin & tonic.

“Well, where to start”, Jimin sighed smiling. “First my alarm didn’t go off, so I was late to work, and barely made it on time. Then I spilled Mr. Jeon´s coffee all over my shirt”, Jimin had to laugh now. Even though it had been a pain in the ass in the moment, he had to agree that it was a bit funny. “Mr. Jeon was being a bitch about it, as usual.”

“And then Kyle, this guy at work-“ Suddenly Jimin didn’t smile anymore. “Guys, Kyle came up to me today and called me the f-word. Just because I was wearing lip balm”, Jimin could see the shocked faces of his friends.

“What?”, Yoongi´s eyes flashed red with anger, his eyes intensely staring as though he couldn’t believe his ears.

“Kyle called you the f-word?”, Hoseok´s mouth was left open in disbelief.

“The f-word?”, Taehyung asked looking a bit confused - and a bit scared maybe. “Do you mean … f*g?”. He whispered the last word. Hearing the word being spoken out loud made Jimin tremble a bit. He wasn’t afraid of the word, rather, it made him uncomfortable.

“Yes of course he meant that”, Yoongi answered looking irritated. Tae immediately looked shocked and frightened over the realization.

“Jimin that is not okay, you can´t let people talk to you like that”, Hoseok turned to Jimin with a heavyhearted look in his eyes. Jimin started fiddling with the sleeve of his shirt. He just wanted his friends to know he was okay.

“I know, but Kendall and Jackson were there, they backed me up.” Jimin could see the other´s faces immediately portray relief, knowing Jimin had not experienced the event alone. “And the strange thing is, Mr. Jeon came up to me and asked me if I was okay afterwards. Isn’t that weird?” Jimin asked as he furrowed his eyebrows. He was still confused as to why Jungkook had done it.

“Yeah, from the description you have given us of him, that is weird”, Taehyung looked as though he thought hard on this matter. The others seemed to agree with the strangeness.

“Especially considering he´s the whole reason I wanted to go out today”, Jimin sighed. He was still annoyed by the fact. “You know I had to cancel my trip to LA this weekend because he – last minute – decided that I was needed at work”, he felt himself clench his fists at the thought.

“That sucks Jiminie”, Hoseok put his hand on Jimin´s shoulder as Taehyung rested his hand on Jimin´s clenched fists. The blonde straight away felt his body ease up. He had really needed this. Being around his closest friends. Feeling loved and understood. He would have to thank Kendall and Hailey tomorrow, for suggesting the idea of going out.

“But let´s just forget him and have some fun tonight”, Yoongi smiled.

“Yeah”, Jimin agreed. “I think I need that”

A few hours and numerous drinks later, Jimin sipped on his cosmopolitan and felt his cheeks heat up from the tipsiness. Jimin felt he could finally collect himself after a long, horrible, day. It was so relaxing having a drink in his hand, talking to his best friends.

The blonde had thought about the possibility of finding a hookup tonight, and had numerous times let his eyes graze around the bar for a fitting candidate. At this point no one had left an interesting impression, and he figured he´d just drop it. He had to be up early the next day anyways, so he wouldn´t be able to go all the way regardless.

Through the night, Taehyung and Hoseok had slithered their way into the shadowy corners of the bar. Jimin didn’t even wanna think about what they were doing, instead he had focused his attention towards Yoongi as they had kept their lively and joyful conversation going.

At one point of the night Jimin had gone to the toilets to freshen up. He walked back to where he and Yoongi had been sitting, but Yoongi was nowhere to be seen. Where had he gone? Jimin let his eyes wander around the room until they rested on two people making out by the bar counter. Yoongi met the blonde boy´s eyes and whispered something into the ear of the person he had been locking lips with. He gave the man a wink as he walked towards Jimin smirking.

“Jimin, if you don’t mind, I´m actually gonna be leaving with…”, he eyed the person he had left beside the bar counter. Jimin was quite impressed by how fast Yoongi was able to find a good hookup.

“Oh, of course. Have fun Yoongi”, Jimin smirked. “Remember to use protection”, Yoongi pushed him lightly and laughed as he walked back to the man at the counter. Jimin could see the man smirk as Yoongi came closer to him.

Jimin decided he would find his way home as well. There was no point in being at a bar all by himself. Overall, even though he hadn’t managed to find a hookup, the blonde felt the night had been a success.

--------

Jimin walked into the elevator the next morning. He felt weirdly normal. He didn’t feel the slightest bit of hangover, and he was glad. Unlike yesterday, he had woken up early and taken a long soothing shower filled with strawberry scented shower gel.

He was still wearing his dangly earrings from yesterday. The blonde enjoyed wearing them at work, but usually left them home because people like Kyle would comment on it.

“Did you hear that Kyle was fired yesterday?”, Jimin heard someone say and he searched for the source of the sound.

“What?”, Jimin asked Hailey, when he saw her talk to her colleagues about the matter. “He was fired?”

“Yeah, yesterday”, Hailey answered looking just as surprised as him.

“Why? Just all of a sudden?”, Jimin asked. He was truly confused “What was the reason?”

“I don’t know. I just heard that Mr. Jeon fired him yesterday”
