Okay so so
The Dream SMP is exactly as it is.
A minecraft server that everybody plays on.
In that sense, everything is the same.
The only thing that makes this different then how the real world works is that Tommy is a foster child, and most of the houses he's been at have been pretty bad, abusing him mentally and physically
yes he has trauma
yes he covers it up when talking to friends and they all think he has a stable home
Anyway, most houses let him stream cause it brings in money and they don't want to be caught.
one day on stream, Phil reveals Kristin's visa was approved and they're both living in the UK. He offhandly mentions he'll be fostering some kids with the intent to adopt and expand family. He also wants older kids who can take care of themselves while Phil's streaming without barging in
The day arrives and phil goes to the door to meet the foster child and lo and behold it's Tommy!
Phil panicks and flops around like a dead fish before inviting Tommy in. Phil fosters Tommy and learns to love real Tommy as well as online Tommy, helps him deal with his trauma yada yada
then Wilbur shows up uninvited for a meetup with Phil and sees Tommy
