Chapter Text
“Georgeeeeeee…” Sapnap whined.
“I told you I’m not going to accompany you.” George scrolled through Tiktok, not even looking at Sapnap to answer.
“B-but I have no one, are you going to leave your poor little bestie alone like that?” Sapnap turned on his puppy eyes mode.
He has been asking George to be his accompaniment for the last two weeks, from morning to evening. George doesn’t understand, Sapnap has a lot of friends, why he has to keep asking him about it? George even doesn’t know how to play the piano.
“What about Quackity?”
“He plays the keyboard for our band! Were you not listening? Karl and I play the guitar, Corpse plays the drums, Bad plays the saxophone, and Callahan sings.”
“Wait Callahan-”
“Georgeee! We need a pianist for the classical part of our new song, you know, some kind of unique taste for the song, the combination of modern vibe and classical music… Come on! We need a Beethoven George!”
“But I don’t know how to play the piano.” George finally put down his phone, signed.
“You can try! Look, we already have a piano in the living room. Karl bought it for me but I’ve never touched it once, you can use it for practice!” Said Sapnap, ran into the living room to open the piano.
If Karl heard that he would be very frustrated, or maybe not. They have been very good friends since primary school, then Sapnap moved in with George for college. They live in an apartment in the middle of the city, it’s always a loud, bustle life that George has.
Sometimes he just wants to go far away from all the noises.
“It’s almost 5 pm, I have to go to the studio. See ya later Gogy!” Sapnap closed the door, went out with his guitar on the back, leaving George alone in the house.
George doesn’t know what to do. Should he accept Sapnap? Maybe not, Sapnap is an idiot. Should he deny Sapnap? Maybe not, the idiot would yell at him for 2 hours straight, complain about how bad a friend he is.
So in order to kill time, George stood up and went to the piano, sat down.
He tried to remember what Quackity had played before.
“This is G Major.” He played.
“This is A Major.”
“D Major…”
“F Sharp Major…”
He’s actually doing it.
Maybe piano is not that hard…
George was going to play the next chords when he suddenly heard something else.
“…Violin?”
A soft sound of strings came out from the wall behind the piano. Seems like it’s repeating the chords George has played.
G Major. A Major. D Major. F Sharp Major.
