Chapter Text
The wind blows softly across the amaranthine Garden of the Sun. It brushes over the youkai sitting on a tea table, having a tea with nobody but the golden flowers. That was until someone stepped into the garden's perimeters.
Yuuka Kazami will not have another trespasser cut away her beautiful sunflowers. She stood up from her comfortable seating position and went her way. Her pink parasol caused her struggle but she managed to open it and shield herself from the sun's rays anyways.
The sunflowers she passes by greets her. Humans would be scared of her sharp witted gaze, her scarlet red eyes, and her presence alone. However, the flowers welcomed that, because they knew that the anger would always be directed on something else. They knew that the reason why she acted this way was to protect them, so they accepted that without contradiction.
She could feel this new fiend moving, she was practically chasing after them, just rather slowly. Thankfully, Yuuka could very much confirm where they're going since the sunflowers keep facing towards the moving presence. Admittedly, that was weird, the sunflowers never faced a trespasser, they would always face towards her, the sun that guards and watches over her garden.
So when the fiend was in a clearing, where they danced around the sunflowers, sword in hand, with the flowers watching her, she wasn't surprised. They wore a beautiful green dress, that was actually a jumpsuit. It was an off shoulder that had a gradient of light green to dark, on their waist was a golden belt with a sun-moon symbol. Their hair was long and straight, where there was also a gradient, one of brown to lighter brown. A crown of sunflowers sit on their head, and a literal golden crown where there were no sunflowers with a crescent facing upwards and the two points touching. They danced with precision, as if teasing the sunflowers by barely missing the slices of their sword.
"Human, why are you here?" Yuuka asked them.
They didn't stip dancing, they just opened their bright moonlit blue eyes. "If you percieve me as human, I would answer that I was captivated by this elysian place." They touched a sunflower gently, causing Yuuka to step forward. "Are you the caretaker of such a large garden? I applaud you."
Yuuka was taken back, playful words that nearly matched her own. She couldn't tell if they just a slimmer better or worse than her. "I am the flower master of the four seasons, as you humans call me." She introduced herself.
That caused the fiend's shoulders to stiffen and lift up a bit. "I am of gilded blood and blade, fae." There was an undertone of venom in that last word. "Have I stepped into your circle?"
Yuuka grunted, she is far stronger than fairies. How insulting! "I beg your pardon, but I am not a fairy. It is bold of you to assume I am one."
"Well, I said you're a fae. Not those cute, little, tiny, absolutely adorable looking ones!" The person spun around, their arms crossing. "You, fae, are of the House Blossom bloodline, are you not? A flower master that lusts for the blood of thine enemies."
Yuuka spins her parasol, a loathing smirk on her face. "Is it a battle of bullets that you want of me? Not the heads of my flowers, but to engage in your death?"
"Oh dear fae, I do not wish for death," They brandish their sword. A truly golden blade with the strength of a foreign material. Adorned with carvings of wheat and crop plants. "I wish for a battle. You use your ranged bullets as I get close with my Farming Sword!"
"Farming sword, odd name." Was the first thing Yuuka commented on. "Very well then, let us see who victors among us, human."
"Your first mistake," With the speed of sound, they charge forward. "Is assuming I'm human!"
