Chapter Text
Fields of color and emotion
The joy of life besides me
Smiles radiating like a thousand suns
It is no more
Dull colors drape over me
A most depressing ending to youth
Figures tower over me
Their presence celebrated, full of joy
Beloved they are by all
Role models for everyone
Flawless, like a statue made of marble
I am a nobody
In a crowd of many superior persons
Skills, talents they have
Beneficial to the community
Unlike I, a wanderer through life
Envy, anger, hatred forms inside a man
And thus forms a devil, born of vices
One that takes host inside one's mind
Despair coursing through the veins
A possession of sorts
There is light at the end of the tunnel
Salvation from this horrid waltz
An end to this internal pain
But how far must one walk to reach it?
And would one survive long enough
To see the end?
