Everyone is a pro heroes and everyone in the previous class 1a are still a rather close-knit family/friend group
Established bakudeku
But like settling
Cause Izuku was always obsessed with “Kacchan”
Bakugou knows everything about Deku so Deku settles with one person because he fears rejection from anyone if they discover OfA and his previous status as ‘quirkless’
Todoroki has been in love with Midoriya for years and pretty much everyone but Midoriya knows
Or maybe he does but he doubts himself and fears rejection so he continues to settle for Kacchan
Maybe not tho I dunno
There’s been a villain running amok
Similar to Darkrai but instead of trapping them in their nightmares
They are trapped in their wildest dreams
And in order to get out you have to want to leave
To want to be in the real world over this dreamscape
A relatively new underground pro has a dreamwalking quirk
She typically does the Princess Luna thing where she saves people from their nightmares
Typically on a request basis
But the dreams this villain traps people in doesn’t go crazy with it
It’s realistic in a way that convinces the dreamers that this is real
Realistic enough you don’t question the reality of this and good enough you never want to leave
The villain typically blows bubbles that traps heroes inside which makes them fall asleep
Basically Darkrai
Or maybe that one demon from the Demon Slayer movie
Some people with happier lives are able to feel that this place is different and want to go home which will easily wake themselves up
But those who have faced hardships and unhappiness
Those that crave a better life
One where they can be happy and safe?
It’s much harder to get them to waking
That’s where the DreamWalker comes in
She can not only wander in dreams herself but she can send others into the dreams of specific people
Which is what they’ve been doing to wake up the more difficult victims of this quirk
This villain decides to ambush a few pros on their daily routine and now this villain is more dangerous
Cause now the heroes are being targeted and anyone who tries to apprehend the villain gets put into the dream realm
It gets dangerous with the amount of heroes sleeping
And the DreamWalker is only one person
So she starts sending the loved ones of the victims into their dreams to wake them up
But even so
Some people are remaining comatose and not waking up at all
The risk factor has gone up
Then some pros from 1a are affected and it’s getting dangerous cause this villain is teaming up with more dangerous ones and leaving the heroes vulnerable
And some heroes have been killed by this
In one instance of this pro hero Deku is on the case and is distracted by the hostage being used and Todoroki sacrifices himself to not only prevent Deku from being hit by the quirk but also getting Deku and the hostage out of the way completely and this sacrifice leads to the villain finally being caught
But Todoroki is in a dream now
Deku blames himself and insists that he shouldn’t be the one to enter Todoroki’ as dreams even though everyone is encouraging him too
Izuku insists that Shouto cares a lot about Momo and that she should be the one to dive in instead of him
Ps
In this process sometimes DreamWalking can take anywhere between a few minutes to a few weeks
And sometimes it messes with the brain and the victim feels like they’ve been in their dreamscape much longer than they actually have
And whenever someone dream walks they take the place of their dreamt up counterparts
So momo goes in
And she is a pro
Kinda like usual
Which is strange because so far things aren’t drastically different
Until Shouto comes into work with two children because there was a gas leak at their school and need somewhere to be
One is older who resembles Shouto’s sister Futuna but with Green streaks instead of red in her hair
And with heterchromia blue and green eyes
Personality is rather quiet like Shouto
But not traumatized
And the youngest with Shouto’s red and white hair but incredibly fluffy with freckles and wide gray eyes and a giant smile that can light up a room
The older sister is calmer and quieter while the younger is vibrating with energy and excitement
Momo realizes when pro Deku comes in apologizing for being late and hearing about what happened at their school and giving Shouto, his husband, a lingering kiss before picking up the youngest and giving them both forehead kisses
Momo realizes that this is a more serious case and that waking Shouto up is not going to be easy
Shouto was smiling wider and so much more genuinely and carefree than she has ever seen him before
He looks truly happy and unburdened in a way that doesn’t exist in the real world
Momo realizes she won’t be able to do this alone
She calls the Dekusquad for help
Cause she still has access to the outside world
Vaguely and distantly whatever potholes or figure that out later
Uraraka shows up first soon accompanied by Tsu and then Iida
They are all stumped and don’t know what to do
It’s heartbreaking how much Todoroki is clinging to this dream
(Btw quirks exist let’s just pretend there’s quirks that allow two people of the same gender to conceive)
It’s usually best to just go up to the victim and tell them they were affected by the villain and are dreaming but in this case
Iida tried that but was shut down so fast and coldly that for a moment they were fearful
Todoroki cooly continued on as if nothing had happened after that swift rejection
Tsu volunteers to be sent back out because of her constant blunt honesty maybe Deku will believe and join her inside
And all of them cannot be in there the whole time
There’s people who need heroes right now
The cannot be all incapacitated
Tsu leaves and informes Deku of the situation and how he truly is needed
Which leads to a massive argument between Bakugou
And Midoriya
Bakugou insists the bastard should be left to rot
And Deku is conflicted and confused and worried and a bit hopeful but he doesn’t distinguish that feeling yet
All he wants is to help
Bakugou says some very uncalled for things about Todoroki
Deku slaps him
And says he wants nothing to do with someone who would say something so vile and triggering about one of his close friends
And Deku finally cuts Katsuki off
Even referring to him as “Katsuki” as he walks off with Tsu
Deku is nervous and scared as Tsu reassured him that the kids are obviously his and not Momo’s and that it’s clear that he is married to him and not Momo and that herself and his friends are going to be there for him the whole time
Izuku wakes up in bed with his husband?
Izuku immediately tries to bring up the dreamscape thing only for Todoroki to be deliberately not listening
Izuku is tired and falls back asleep
And wakes up to the smell of a fresh breakfast and two heavy weights on his chest
He makes eye contact with his daughters
Izuku finds Todoroki making his favorite breakfast food and says since we have the day off and the kids aren’t in school due to the gas leak
That they should go out and spend time together as a family
Izuku sees what his friends have seen
They see the truly happy and relaxed smile that is never seen on their friend’s face
Todoroki is happier here than he has ever been irl and Izuku also realizes this is going to be hard
But as time goes on Izuku stops thinking and starts enjoying the experience of spending the day with his husband and daughters

In a dreamscape if you aren’t careful and their dream life can apply to you too
It can also drag you under its influence and make you want to remain in here as well
Which is why a second party is required for difficult cases to keep their head on straight
But Izuku’s friends aren’t here right now
He isn’t Deku
Not Midoriya
Not All Might’s sucesor
Not one of the top heroes
Not the 9th holder of OfA
He doesn’t need to stress or worry about the legacy placed on his shoulders or what that legacy means for those around him
He is just Izuku
Izuku whom is getting to spend the day with the 3 people who love him the most
Love him unconditionally for who he is
And Izuku is happy and stress-free for once
That is fractured when they return to find some unexpected visitors (their friends) inside their home
Todoroki is very angry with Iida still and so Iida leaves the dreamscape
Iida thinks they need backup
Iida calls not only Izuku’s mom
But Todoroki’s as well
Maybe All Might
Maybe being forced to keep secrets from his loved ones via All Might is harmful enough that hopefully Toshinori realizes it and gives Izuku his blessing to tell Shouto everything
Maybe even his other close friends too
Never mind , I take that back. don’t call any of them
But Momo and Ochako and Tsu see how happy and carefree they are and figure with everything they’ve gone through
They can allow them to have this for a little while
It’s not like they can successfully change anything right now anyways
Izuku sees Bakugou on the news and is upset
Shouto explains how Bakugou is how he always is
But he isn’t toxic and how him and Kirishima have something going on and cause it was clear how Kirishima felt for Bakugou
He even speaks of how there’s a tentative fragile friendship between the two
Where they both are healing from the actions committed in the past
Endeavor retired years ago and is pretty cut off from his family and from society
So he’s out of the picture
Dabi had a revealed Endeavor’s dirty laundry during the high end fight
Touya came to visit his family later
He isn’t mentally stable but his missed his family too
Now that they are free from that man Touya enjoyed a good hug
Touya acts like how he did before he “died”
AFO and his doctor is dead for good and the whole league is in Tartarus
Shouto has been living in this world for what feels like years
Having a close up view of how things could be
Izuku is upset he never saw how much his friend cared about him before
Izuku apologizes
But Shouto just comforts him and listens to what he has to say
That’s so much more than anything Katsuki has ever done for him
The thought makes him incredibly regretful and sad
He asks Todoroki why Katsuki never treated him this nicely and lovingly
Shouto says that Katsuki never deserved you
You deserve someone who will love you with everything they have and are
Someone who will listen to your rambles and comfort you after nightmares
Someone who can tell when you have a migraine and need quiet and someone who can take care of you when you’re sick
Someone who knows when you are struggling and overworked and trying to force yourself to do more and knows when to hold you back from hurting yourself further
Someone who can share a random romantic dance to no music in the kitchen when the kids are sleeping for no reason at all
Someone who will watch all the All Might shows you want with you
Someone who makes you just as happy as you make them
Someone who loves you just as much as you love them
Izuku cries in his arms
Izuku asks him why he loves him so much
Because you showed me what it meant to be loved and to love myself for once
You make me want to better myself for you and my family and myself every day
You make me so happy
Izuku can few the prodding fake memories or is that his fantasy? The memories of many days of waking up together
(Not alone like he remembers with Katsuki who would always be gone to work by the time he wakes up)
and sharing breakfast and sharing love-filled kisses and hugs
Izuku wants it
He wants it so bad
Katsuki may not have been outwardly abusive like he was as a child
But he was not a good S/o
He was neglectful and controlling
Izuku wants someone who trusts him
Izuku cares so much about Shouto
There’s definite potential there
He isn’t in love with Shouto but he can grow to fall in love with him
Outside of their dreams
Izuku cannot hold it in anymore
He tells Shouto everything
How his father left
And how for years if his life he was believed quirkless until the sludge villain and meeting all might
How exactly Bakugou has treated him in their childhood
How All Might has passed his legacy and quirk onto Izuku
And how his first used OFA and the ghosts of the previous vestiges and the quirks of said vestiges
And how he fears that anyone close enough could be targeted
Shouto is upset that Izuku never told him
But with his idolation of All Might and his insistence on keeping OfA a secret from everyone including his own mother
It makes since
But Shouto isn’t the only one hurting right now
Izuku needs him right now
Not his husband in this dream but his best friend
So he wraps his arms around Izuku and lets them cry
Murmuring quiet words of reassurance and affirmation
And acceptance and support and love
Izuku cries himself to sleep in Shouto’s arms
Ps
Ochako Momo and Tsu take the girls for a sleepover cause their dads are having a private moment
So they aren’t interrupted
They leave a note behind
They both wake up embraced in their arms in their bed in their home
They have more to talk about
Izuku speaks of his fight with Bakugou and his realization that what they had wasn’t healthy especially after seeing what he could have had if he had Shouto instead of Katsuki
Shouto speaks of his years of the quiet and painful yearning for something he believes he can never have
Shouto speaks of how his father made an attempt to force him into a quirk marriage of his own and how that’s why he cut his father out of his life for good
How Shouto feels he loved Izuku for longer but only realized in their third year of UA when Bakugou and Izuku kissed and told everyone of their relationship
And how Shouto should have felt happy for them
He could only be heartbroken
And the memories of days of shared nights and comfort after nightmares and playful jokes make him realize what has been there all along
But by now it’s too late
Shouto tried to move on and dabbled in a relationship or two privately but they remained secret and he couldn’t stomach being with someone in that way that he didn’t love
Being with someone who wasn’t the one that he did love
How over the years those feelings never went away
How Bakugou tried to chase him away because he was aware of his feelings as was everyone but Midoriya
How before they told others of their relationship since graduation was approaching Shouto had wanted to ask Izuku to move in with him
How sometimes he would fight the tears at night and in the morning when he wakes up alone and cold after dreams of waking up embraced by the person he loves
Izuku and Shouto tell each other everything
Private moments to funny stories to the hard stuff to the trauma and feelings
They talk for hours and hours and hours
And Izuku feels bad a few times for talking and annoying Todoroki but he cuts that off fast
Saying how he loves to listen to what he has to say
It has been very emotionally draining and tiring but there are so many weights that have been lifted off of their shoulders
They remain wrapped in each other’s arms
Seeking comfort in the other
Shouto doesn’t kiss him
They don’t know what is going on irl and refuses to kiss Izuku without his consent
And how he secretly wants their first kiss to be in the real world
But he is scared of what Katsuki will do and if his father will hunt him down
He doesn’t care about what the press thinks but he still fears his father
Izuku worries about how All Might will respond when he finds out he spilt the beans to Shouto
But they’ll cross that bridge when they come to it
But before they go Shouto wants to say goodbye to their daughters
They contact their friends to bring the girls home
Their daughters know and provide comfort and closure
We’ll meet again
Izuku even said goodbye
“Fatherhood is a good look on Shouto” Izuku thinks
They burn the memory of their daughters into their eyes before they wake up in the hospital
Btw
No matter how real the dream felt while inside
When you exit it feels like just another dream even if the memories of the dream remain
First thing they do is embrace each other tight enough that nothing can rip them apart
Shouto gets his checkup and gets sent home
Bakugou intervenes
Another fight occurs
With less loud words
But with more cutting ones
Ones that make Bakugou know he is the one in the wrong and he has no place to be here anymore
Be near Izuku thinking he has any claim to him at all
That Izuku will be picking his stuff up from their house later
Izuku sheepishly asks if that offer to move in together is still on the table
Shouto takes him up on it
Izuku’s friends spread the news to their other friends that Bakudeku broke up
And to not interrogate Izuku about it
But if she didn’t say not to interrogate Bakugou that’s neither here nor there
Izuku moves in and they take things slow
After re-adjusting and letting Izuku have time to move on from him and Katsuki’s long-term relationship
It’s been months before Izuku asks Shouto on a date
Shouto is delighted and it takes a few dates before they have their first kiss in a stereotypically romantic trope location
Like in the rain
Or on a ferriswheel
Or on a picnic either stargazing or watching the sunset
Or maybe they do it in an embarrassing way on accident (after consenting) that they are both flustered for with Shouto sporting little flames when he tries to hide his blush
Izuku and Shouto keep this private because it’s new and delicate and they want to have it just for themselves for a while longer
But their closest friends know even if they weren’t told, even though they haven’t told anyone about it
Izuku tells All Might and surprisingly gets his support and encouragement
He tells his mom
And Shouto tells his mom and siblings
They are a handful of months strong before they eventually feel secure enough to tell their friends about them
And with Kirishima’s support
Bakugou apologies to Midoriya for everything
It looks like he a constipated and like he has a gun to his head
But he admits he wasn’t good to Izuku
Nor was he good for him
And that he is sorry for how their relationship was and how he behaved in their childhood
How they are not good for each other and how he hopes Izuku will be happy
Not in those words of course
This is Bakugou we’re talking about
But that’s the message that he attempted to get across
Now Izuku has some closure

A few years later
Izuku proposes
And a bit more later
Izuku says he wants kids
The may not be the ones that they had in the dreamscape years ago
But they would be their child
Izuku only proposes the idea after everything involving AFo is gone and dealt with for good
There is no need for another successor of OfA
Izuku is allowed to be happy
A hard lesson to learn
He deserves happiness
Then their first child is born
And it’s the same little girl that has a resemblance to Fuyumi from their dream
They are shocked but are just happy when a few years later they have another daughter
The same bumbling ball of energy from the dream
Their family is finally complete
They can be happy :)
