Platinum and diamond blind her as her eyes sweep across the ballroom of Helium. Strange are the trappings of this stranger, silk and jewels, blitzing in the swirl of bodies that is ‘The Dance of Barsoom’.
Gahan of Gathol dances with the grace of a fighter.
His eyes seem to smolder as he lays them upon her, taking in her svelte silhouette and her beautiful body. She knows all men must desire her as she looks right then.
Even a jed of Gathol simply cannot pull his eyes away from her.
Tara of Helium does not know what she feels.
Sun and steel blind her as her eyes sweep across the arena of Manator. Plain are the trappings of her friend, leather and blood, blending in the swirl of bodies that is this game of Jetan.
Turan the panthan fights with the grace of a dancer.

Candles and stars illuminate the room as her eyes sweep across their chambers in Gathol. His trappings lie on the floor, right next to hers. Flesh on flesh, they are blending their bodies together in a song as old as time.
Her husband moves with the grace of a dancer and a fighter, and Tara feels her body match his.
His eyes smolder with want, and she is sure hers are the same. She knows he desires her, and she desires him.
They simply cannot pull their eyes away from each other.
