Chapter 1: Goats

Chapter Text

Of course Captain Goodfellow would invite his sister to his wedding. Venomous would be an idiot to think he wouldn’t. Why hadn’t he thought of this before he had agreed to attend!

He glanced over again, and there she was!

Foxtail, who for her part, couldn’t seem to figure out who to glare at, was sitting across the aisle switching her focus between each member of their party. Completely ignoring the wedding happening in front of her.

“Uh, PV, why is Foxtail glaring at us?” Boxman hissed.

“Probably because we’re a group of nine high level villains, attending the wedding of two, extremely important military officers one of whom happens to be her brother!” Venomous hissed back, “And also, you know. The other thing.”

Boxman simply nodded in acknowledgement, to avoid further disrupting the ceremony. At least more than the thunderstorm already had, honestly whoever had planned this event really should have checked the corn shucking weather, his chicken eye could only see so far in these conditions!

Boxman squinted as the priest finished the vows, both overly muscular fiances passionately locking lips.

~~~~~
Foxtail growled, she was going to be having a talk with security. The cob damned incompetent shuckers had let, not one, not two, not even three, but nine actual supervillains into her brother’s wedding.
Hell! One of them was the guy who almost destroyed literally everything! She at least needed to get him out, she could worry about the others later, when things were less likely to mutate horribly, and start killing people.
~~~~~

The first person to notice Foxtail’s menacing approach was, surprisingly, Darrell.

Darrell happened to be checking on his wedding gift of fourteen goats, all trained in artful destruction, and several crates of feed, when he saw Foxtail stalking in the direction of his fathers, a forced grin plastered on her face.

Darrell's first thought was ‘Oh cob! She knows about Laserblast!’. Darrell's second thought was something along the lines of ‘Quick! Be distracting!’.

With these thoughts in mind Darrell released the goats and signaled towards Foxtail, before shucking off back to Darrell Acres to tend to his own trained goatherd.

~~~~~
As would surprise literally no one, goat rampages are not an expected event at weddings. Thus, naturally, a panic was stirred.
Screaming wedding guests ran in all directions as both heroes and villains tried to calm them down, and in the midst of it all, five soon to be siblings received a text message.
C0wboysrthec00lest: Foxtail knows.
This was the only thing that Darrell sent, despite the numerous queries of his siblings.
Fortunately the Boxman children were very smart. Absolute pinnacles of intelligence, reasoning and problem solving.
While the rest of her siblings and Fink went to hinder Foxtail’s advance, Shannon had the good sense to warn her fathers.
~~~~~

Looking at the phone Shannon had shoved in his face, Professor Venomous could only thing one thing:

“Fuck.”
