Chapter Text

Me and the gang were at Rock Point beach having a beach party.

Music was plying on the radio.

  Fred and Daphne were dancing

Velam was dancing

  Shaggy was attending the hotdogs on the grill

I smiled as I stood by his side him with arm around him

Scooby was surfing out on the water

Daphne smiled and said," Groovy beach party Freddy."

 Fred smiled and said," Thanks Daphne."

I smiled and said,"Like  yeah groovy."

 Scooby paddled out into the water and started surfing and said, "Scooby Doo!" as he stood up on the surfboard. When he spotted something coming out from the water.

It was a giant lobster monster.

 Scooby said,"rikes!: he paddled back to the shore

 Shaggy took the dog off the grill and said, "Like the hot dog are done guys."

 Scooby hit the sand as he ran toward Shaggy

 Shaggy said,"Like oh no!"

 Scooby couldn’t stop as he knocked Shaggy down

I ran over and said, "Shaggy you, ok?"

 Shaggy said,"Like yeah."

 Scooby whined as he pointed out on the water

We all looked toward the water

Shaggy hair stood on end and said,"Zoinks!"he dug a hole and hid in it

 I said," Come out from the hole Shaggy.'

 Shaggy said," Like no way did you what I saw?"

 Fred said," Yeah we saw it and want to find out more."

 Shaggy said," Like groovy when you do like let me know."

Daphen said,"J eepers a monster lobster."

Fred said,"Yeah ."

 I put my arm around Shaggy and hugged him

Scooby said,"ronster robster!"

Velma said,"There is a logical reason for everything. Besides there is no such thing as  a monster lobster."

Shaggy said, "Like then what was that?"
 Fred said,"Don't know but I think we should investigate ."

Shaggy sai,"Like I was afraid of that."

Scooby nodded and said,"reah."

Fred said," Come on gang lets go back to malt shop and regroup maybe there is something in the newspaper."

We all headed back inside the mystery machine as drove to the Malt Shop. We went inside the malt shop and sat down at table drinking jumbo pink lemonades.

Fred looked at newspaper and said," Listen to this gang local Boater Captain Malachi says that the lobster monster is the legend of the Lobster man who lurks in the depth of the ocean responsible for scaring away tourist boats."

Scooby put a straw in his and shaggy drink and sipped his.

 I said," I think we should pay Malachi a visit."

 Shaggy looked over at Scooby as he pulled up pair scissors and cut it.

Fred said," Right."

 Scooby sipped through his straw and all our lemonades went down too.

 I stared and said," wow how does he do that?"

 Fred said," I guess that's another mystery."

We left the malt s shop and got back into Mystery Machine. We drove over to talk to Malachi. We got out the van as we walked over to Malachi.

 Fred said," So you saw this lobster monster Malachi?"

Malachi a man in captain outfit nodded and said," Yes the legend is the lobster demon lives deep below in the sea and is ruler of the sea."

Velma said," But why has it risen now?"

Malachi said," The Lobster demon is angry is at the tourists for disrupting its watery home in the sea."

Dpahen said," Jeepers."

Shaggy said," Zoinks lobster demon."

I held Shaggy hand fingers interlaced and squeezed his hand gently

Shaggy held my hand and rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb

Fred said,"well ganf  looks like we  got a mystery on our hands."lets go back  to the scene and look for clues."

 Velma nodded and said,"Right."

 We got back into the mystery machine and drove back to the shore. WE hopped out of the van.

Fred said,"Let's split up. Velma and Daphne  your with me. Shaggy and Becky go with Scooby."

I said,"Got it Freddy."

 Fred and the girls starting walking one way looking for clues

 Shaggy,Scooby and I started walking off the other way looking for clues

I held Shaggy's hand I walked alongside him.

Shaggy held my hand as we walked glancing around and said,"Like  I hope we don' run into the  giant crustacean."

I nodded and said,"Like yeah me too."

 Shaggy said,"Like  I think the lobster demon is  bit shellfish."he laughed a little

I laughed and  said,"Nice.'

 Shaggy smiled a  little and said,"Like thanks babe."

I said,"This lobstermonster is really the  Maine problem." I laughed

 Shaggy laughed and said,"Like  yeah  it's really the claws of trouble."

Scooby giggled at our jokes.

 Shaggy said,"Like stay close alright."

I nodded and said,"Like no problem Shaggy."

We walked along looking around.

Shaggy said,"Say like have I ever told you about The ghost of captain Cutler?"

I said,"Like don't think."

Shaggy said"Like were having a beach party just like today when a  ghostly diver suit emerged from the water covered in glowing seaweed."

I said,"Like yikes."

Fred and the girls were looking around for clues

Velma said,"There is something awfully suspcisous about Captain Malachi."

 Daphne said,"I'll say he gave me the creeps>"

Fred said, "You think he made up that whole story?"

Velma said, "Wouldn’t be the first time somebody told us a tale."

WE were walking along looking for clues

I stopped and pointed at something said," Shaggy look."

 There was a trail of lobster looking footprints in the sand

Shaggy said," Like footprints like I wonder where they go?"

I smiled and  said," Like let's follow them and find out.Scooby pick up the scent."

 Scooby shook his head as he sat down and wrapped blanket round him and pretended to be sick and said"my nose."

I laughed and said," You're not sick Scooby."I pulled out box of Scooby snacks and held it up "Would you do it for a scooby  snack?"

Scooby looked up and held up three fingers and said,"Three?"

I smiled and said, "Alright three."I pulled out three Scooby snacks and tossed them to him

 Shaggy leaned over and caught them in his mouth and said," Like I need some encouragement too."helaughed

I laughed as I tossed three to Scooby and said," here you go."

Scooby caught them and ate them and smiled and said," Scooby Doo!" he stood on all four as he put his nose to the trail as he picked up the scent and followed it

 I held Shaggy's hand as we walked along following Scooby

 Shaggy held my hand as we walked

Scooby kept his nose to the ground as he followed the trail

 I glanced around as we followed him

 Shaggy said,"Like I sure could go for a  about a dozen of those hot dogs right now."

I laughed and said,Like how can you think of food at time like this?"

 Shaggy said,"LikeI can't help that my stomach doesn’t know we are at mystery." He laughed

 WE followed the footprints to a  dock.

I looked around as we got onto the dock.

Over further was a large ship and on the ship was our lobster man

 I said,"Shaggy look over there."

 Shaggy lookedand said,"Like its overgrown Cruscatean what he doing?"

I said,"Like I don't know but I sure like get a closer look come on."

WE sneaked  around as we went closer to the ship

Lobster man was putting crates of  some kind on the  ship.

WE peered around watching him

I said," Like I sure would like see wht is in those crates on that ship. We need a distraction."

 Shaggy smiled and said ,"Like I got it." He threw his voice in another direction and said," Hey you overgrown shellfish over!"

Lobster man looked around as he headed in the direction of the voice

Scooby giggled quitly

I smiled and s aid,"Like nice job Shaggy."

 We  walked over and snuck onto the ship

 I looked around as I grabbed  pry bar and opned a crate

Inside the crate was hundreds of diamonds

 Shaggy sai,"Like wowie diamonds."

I noddedand said,"Like yeah."

 We heard something

 Shaggy hair stood on end and said,"Zoins like that’s proabably old  Shellish  coming back."

I looked around and said,"Come on let's  hide."  I took him by the hand as  we ran and hid

Lobster man walked back on and looked  around  he placed the lid back on the crate and nailed  it back on.

 Fred and he girls were still looking for clues

 Fred said"Wonder whatever happened to Shaggy,Becky and Scooby?'

Velam said,"Oh those  three proabaly found food someplace."

 Fred looked around when he spotted something and said,"hey look."he pointed

A piece of map was laying on the ground

Velam looked and said,"Jinkies a clue."

 Fred picked up and said," A piece of map that has been torn up."

Velam said," That’s not any ordinary map that’s a sonar map of the ocean floor."

Daphne said," Jeepers what's it doing way out there?"

Fred said," Don't know but we better try find Shaggy, Becky and Scooby."

They went walking around looking for us.

Lobster man left as he went about his work

  I whispered, "Come on let's go before he finds us"

Shaggy nodded and whisperd" Like right."

 WE snuck back off the ship and ran down the dock back to the beach.

 Shaggy said,"Like that was a close one .One more second and like he would like have us for his meal."

I said,"Like yeahcome on lets look for the others."

Shaggy nodded and said,"Like good idea."

 We walked  around as we looked for the others.

 A red pincher claw tapped Shaggy's shoulder

 Shaggy glanced down and  said,"Like becky who do I know that ahs red claws?"

Il ooked behinf Shaggy and pointed and said,"Like look out Shaggy!"

 Shaggy turned around slowly and saw Lobstr man  his ahir stood enand said,"Zoinks!"

I grabbed Shaggy by the arm as I took off running from it

Shaggy followed me as we ran

 Scooby ran to catch up and said, "wait for me!"
Lobster man ran after us chasing us

Shaggy said, "Like I like to eat seafood I don't want to be sea food."
 I said,"Like me  neither."

  We kept running as we tried get away from Lobster man.

Lobster man kept chasing u across the beach

We ran fast as we could to try get away from it.

 I looked around and spotted a  beach cav and said,"Like over there."

 We ran intothe cave and  hid.

 Lobster man ran right past us looking around

  Shaggy said,"Like one  more second and he would of made a meal out of us,Like thanks for saving me old shellfish babe."

I smiled as I kissed his cheek and hugged him and  said,"Like no problem Shaggy."

 We looked out the cave checking for Crustacean fiend.

 Shaggy said,"Like I think its clear."

I nodded as we headed out of the cave and went back to finding the others.

 Fred and the girls were walking along when they spotted us

 Fred said," there you are did you find anything?"

 Shaggy said," Like did we ever tell them Becky."

 I nodded and said,"We found footprints and followed to a dock and saw the Lobster man loading crates on it."

 Shaggy said, "Like yeah then I distracted by throwing my voice and we got onto the ship and opened the crates and like you know what was in it?"

 Daphne said,"No what?"

I said, "Diamonds hundreds of them."

 Shaggy said," like right then just now we   ran into our overgrown Shellfish ."

Velma said,"Very interesting."

 Fred said,"Well take a look as we found."he held out the sonar map

I said," Like wow a sonar map of the ocean floor."
Fred said,"Right."

Velma said,"a map of the ocean floor and crates of diamonds. Things are starting to add up."

 Shaggy said,"Lik you mean two and two are four?"
 Velma said,"Beter than thatI got hunch who are lobster monster is."

Fred said,"Yeah me too.Now we just need to plan and  set a trap and catch him."
