This is the first fic that I've written (or at least that I've posted), and it's purely because someone in the wenclair server I'm in, gave this prompt.

Thanks to Zee for this !!

Work Text:

Enid didn’t exactly know when it had all started, but she found herself constantly posting on her TikTok about Wednesday. It was like the girl had completely taken over her mind. The only thing ever on the bubbly girl’s mind was her roommate. Consequently, she began to make TikToks in order to get her thoughts out. After all, perhaps sharing her thoughts about the dark girl would get said thoughts out of her own mind 24/7.

What she hadn’t accounted for however, was her audience thinking her and Wednesday were dating because of the videos. Sure, some could be a little more… sweet, but that’s to be expected from someone as loving as Enid. Although she could admit, maybe posting a video of her doing a couple’s trend about Wednesday was a bit much. At the time, it’d seemed like a good idea.

After the video was posted, her comments were flooded with questions, from outcasts and normies alike, asking if she was in a relationship with the Addams girl. Some were even saying that they weren’t surprised, seeing the other videos Enid had made about Wednesday. Thinking over her options, Enid decided that the best thing to do was to just keep it vague and not really respond. Which is exactly what she did.

Throughout the rest of the semester, and the 14 more TikToks about Wednesday, it became a well known fact, among people on social media at the very least, that Enid and Wednesday had something going on. Most Nevermore students believed this, barring their closest friends, who knew the truth.

In spite of their closest friends knowing the two roommates weren’t together, it didn’t stop them from noticing Enid’s crush on Wednesday. Honestly, it was surprising that Wednesday herself didn’t know yet. There was nothing straight about the TikToks that Enid would post about her goth friend.

The posts came to a halting stop however, when the whole Crackstone incident happened. With Enid finally wolfing out, and for Wednesday at that, along with the other nefarious things that happened that night, it was a given that Enid didn’t have the time nor will to make more TikToks.

Then, the news that they were going home for the semester came. One would think all students would be happy that their semester got short, but for Enid it was painful. Not only would she have to go back to her pack, which would likely still suck even though she had transformed, she wouldn’t be able to see Wednesday until the next semester started. Enid knew of her own feelings for the girl, and didn’t like the notion of being separated from her potential mate for that long.

After receiving the phone from Xavier, Wednesday’s immediate thoughts were that she’d have no use for the little device. Nevermind the fact that her heart stuttered at the prospect of potentially keeping in touch with her colorful roommate.

Entering the car with Lurch and Thing, Wednesday checked her phone one last time, not quite knowing what to do with it. This time, instead of seeing the plain home screen like the last two times she had checked, Wednesday received a link from an unknown number. Frowning in confusion, she opened the link, which led her to an app called “TikTok”. It seemed to be a form of social media which involved many little videos. Disgusting, and not in a good way.

Though, upon downloading said app and opening the link again, Wednesday saw her roommate. Which then led to her focusing her attention fully on the screen, interested. It seemed as though this “post” was about Wednesday herself. She found herself wishing that her roommate had nothing bad to say, as she didn’t know if she would be able to handle it.

After watching the first video, which (surprisingly) had nothing bad to say about the Addams, Wednesday resolved herself to watching the rest of Enid’s little “TikToks”. It didn’t hurt that the first video was of Enid rambling about how cool she had found Wednesday’s sense of style.

When watching all of the videos though, Wednesday read some of the comments, which talked about how cute of a couple they were. Couple? Couple of friends? Or a couple as in, romantically. Strangely, Wednesday found herself flushing at the thought.

Wednesday snooped more, concluding that the people who were writing their intrepid comments were not wrong to come to the conclusion that the two girls were dating. There were of course, the many videos of Wednesday that point to them being together, but above all, there was the fact that Enid never exactly denied it.

Did this mean that Enid wanted them to be together? Why didn’t Wednesday hate that thought? In fact, she would go as far as to say that she liked the thought of Enid liking her. What a peculiar revelation. Wednesday had broken the promise she had made to her parents, about not finding love. `What’s worse, she broke it for someone who was essentially her polar opposite. Opposites attract was a real thing, she supposed.

Smirking, Wednesday decided that she would confront Enid about this. Not in a mean way, or at least not too mean. Just enough to make Enid panic for a minute, make her think she was mad about all of the videos the cheerful girl had posted about Wednesday.

Hearing the news about the semester at Nevermore starting up again, Enid was ecstatic. She would finally be able to see her monotone roommate again, who she wasn’t able to talk to the whole break. She immediately started to pack, gathering all of the essentials she would need for returning to the school.

Arriving at the school, Enid hopped out of the car and ran, very clumsily with her suitcase, to the dorm room she shared with her crush. She was over the moon at the prospect of getting to see (and maybe hug?) her roomie. Unpacking all of her belongings, Enid turns on her music, and consequently is not able to hear when Wednesday enters the room.

“Oh my god! You scared the living crap out of me Willa!!” Enid exclaimed in surprise, dropping the unicorn plush she was holding in her hands.

“Maybe if you had been paying more attention, you would have noticed,” was Wednesday’s response to that. Well, she supposed Wednesday did have a point.

Rushing forward to hug Wednesday, Enid squealed, “I missed you so much bestie! I’ve so much to tell you about my break, but anyways, how are you?”

“Hmm. I found something of interest to be over the break. I believe it is called TikTok?” Wednesday told Enid, who seemed off the rails at the notion of her friend being on social media.

“Really? What happened to it being a soul sucking void of affirmation?” Enid teased.

“It is, believe me. However, someone sent me a link to a pretty interesting one,” Wednesday smirked, pulling out her phone and opening one of the videos Enid had posted about her. “Does this ring any bells, Enid?”

Recognizing the video she was being shown, Enid paled. “I’m really sorry for posting all of that, I can’t say I didn’t mean it though, because everything I said was true. I’m just sorry that you had to actually see that, and that I posted so much without telling you,” the Lycan rambled out.

Smiling at Enid, Wednesday stepped closer to her. “Oh cara mia, don’t apologize. While I must admit it was a bit surprising at first, I do happen to return the sentiment of positive feelings towards you, mon amour.”

Surprised at the side of Wednesday that she had never really seen before, Enid floundered. “I- what- So you’re not mad?” was all she could say.

“No, I am not mad. I like you, no I love you, Enid. Just as I assume from your videos, that you love me as well. Or am I wrong?” Wednesday inquired, suddenly looking unsure of herself.

Scrambling to explain, Enid blurted, “NO! No, you’re not wrong. I do love you. I am sorry that you had to find out through the stupid videos that I made though.”

“It’s quite alright. If I’m being honest, it was very… you. I liked the videos that you made for me,” Wednesday explained.

Enid could feel her heart melting. This was it. This is the way that she’d die. “Thank you, Wednesday,” Enid hesitated, “may I kiss you?”

Feeling her smile grow, and her cheeks heat even more, Wednesday agreed. “Of course mi querida, you don’t even have to ask.”

Enid swooped down to gently kiss Wednesday, as if afraid Wednesday would take it all back. The kiss progressed for a few more seconds, before they pulled back, both wearing smiles that could light up the room. There was nothing that could make either of them more happy at that moment.

A few days later, Enid’s TikTok followers would get a notification. It was a post of pictures of Wednesday and Enid together, in various positions. Some were clearly on a date in the woods, some were of them holding hands, and some were of them cuddling. All of the pictures very clearly showed that they were dating. The caption read: “She’s finally mine. My terrible, horrible girlfriend <3”
