Chapter Text
Blood.
Death.
Scattered across the floor, are the bodies of several fallen magical girls.
There is a strange monster creature that they had been fighting, that continues to roar.
Only one magical girl remains. They stare at the creature in fear, as a tear goes down their cheek.
The monster charges and then sends a sonic blast towards the magical girl, but thankfully they are able to put up a barrier. The collision between the two forces creates a lot of smoke.
While the monster is distracted and cannot see, the magical girl rushes forward and grabs the inner core of the monster, and rips it out, in the process killing it.
Once the monster is gone, they take a breath, and you can now see the eerie smile etched on the mask to the side of their face, as they let out a huff of glee.
“Welcome to a world of dream’s and magic.” A strange blob creature on the screen says. “Become the greatest magical girl ever in this rpg!” The screen says the creature’s name is XD. ”It’s called ‘Magical Girl Raising Project!’”
The screen then switches as the boy continues to stare.
“You’ve been appointed as a guardian of this world by the land of Magic! You’ve been appointed the magical girl ‘Theseus’!” XD says upon the screen, and the boy slightly pulls back, tipping his head to the side, taking in their appearance.
XD continues. “Blessed with magic that can crush fights and destroy darkness, you’ve been ordered to fight the forces of evil!”
The screen shows ‘Theseus’ winning a battle against a weird shadowy creature,
“You’re cute, you’re courageous, and above all else, you’re a powerful magical girl!”
[Theseus has gained an Item: The Lucky Rabbit’s foot]
Tommy pulls back and smiles. “Wow that's so awesome” He won his first few fights in the game, and now after a few tries against that boss he finally won, and got a special item for it.
“You’ve obtained the Rabbit’s foot!” XD says. “ With this item something lucky will happen if you get yourself into trouble. But whether you get out of that trouble is up to you.”
“Awww.” Tommy draws back with a sigh. “Sounds kinda useless.”
Tommy then takes another breath and stretches back against his bed. It’s late now and he reflects on the time he’s spent playing this game. “Damn.” He thinks to himself. “After 18 tries trying to defeat that boss, I was really hoping for something better. Scam.”
[End Game? Yes ? No ?]
Tommy hits the yes button.
[you’ve selected yes. ]
“The world is under constant threat!” XD says on the screen. “ And there are never enough magical girls. Muster up your courage and take that first step with us!”
Tommy lets out a yawn, he thinks he’s done for the night.
He sets his phone down.
“ If you believe it,” XD says.
Across town, in the dead of night, there is some sort of person flying around on a staff.
“Your dreams are sure to come true!”
The next day, on the way to school.
[ Breaking headlines: Magical Girls? Multiple eyewitnesses have claimed to see a magic girl flying on a broomstick.]
“A Magical girl?” Freddie Inquires as he reads.
“Are they talking about that picture of the person in the hat?” Eryn asks.
Both friends then turn to the blond boy beside them. “Well what do you think Tommy?” Freddie asks. “Are magical girls real?”
Tommy feels a bit surprised by their question and draws back. Then thinks for a moment with his hand on his chin. “Ummm….” He thinks.”Um, I don’t think it’s a real magical girl,” Tommy begins to say, but then Freddie cuts him off. “Thank you!” Freddie says.
Despite being cut off, Tommy decides to just keep it to himself. He smiles, “Besides ” he thinks. “That person looked more like a witch or a wizard to me.”
“Wow check this out mates!” Eryn pipes up, showing them both his phone. “There’s a whole website about this online.”
Tommy looks over Eryn’s shoulder to get a better look.
He sees one post and reads it, “ She yelled at me for speeding on the highway?”
Eryn scrolls as there are several pictures and posts that pertain to supposed “magical girls”
“She stopped a child from being hit by a bus with her bare hands?!” Freddie reads next
“One helped me out when some sleazy guys were hitting on me ?” Eryn reads.
“She wiped out an entire triad group?!” Freddie recites.
“Are you serious?” Freddie says. “Sounds more like a mad vigilante than a magical girl.”
“Oh common,” Eryn pipes up. “You have to admit that it’s cool that there are so many witnesses.”
Freddie groans. “Don’t believe everything you read online boys, especially if it seems too good to be true.”
He then smirks up. “Like imagine the mafia would actually let them post that.”
Eryn scowls. “But wouldn’t it be awesome if magical girls and superheroes were real?”
Tommy chuckles. “Be realistic Eryn, I mean if they did exist they wouldn’t just go around wiping out the triad. “
Freddie groans.
“Magical girls and super heroes fight for what's right!” Tommy pipes up. “And they always help those in need, no matter what.”
“Wow.” Eryn gives a sly smile. “Thank you for your all knowing pog knowingness, oh great one.”
Eryn mocks prayer and bow, causing Tommy to slightly shuffle back.
Freddie pulls back in a fit of laughter. “Oh whatever.” He says. “This is the real world, not some manga or anime. You’re like so naive Tommy.”
Tommy gives his friends a frown and internally growls.
Freddie then looks to Tommy’s backpack, where a keychain is hanging. Under closer inspection, if is a keychain of some sort of magical girl/superhero.
“Oh now it makes sense.” Freddie gives a wide grin. “You’re into this kinda stuff aren't you Tom?”
Tommy somewhat awkwardly pulls back. Feeling somewhat embarrassed.
“Oh now it makes sense.” Eryn says.
Despite feeling awkward, Tommy tries to slightly defend himself. “Well, “ he says nervously. “It is kinda cool.”
“Hey, isn’t that keychain from the game they mentioned?” Eryn brings up, looking it up on this phone. He then shares the screen with Freddie, who reads it.
“Magical girl Raising Project? It says it’s completely free.”
Tommy pulls back with a grasp that his friends may have caught him.
“You never heard of Magipro?” Eryn asks Freddie. “It’s like crazy popular.”
“Really?” Freddie asks.
“But apparently the game makes some pretty outrageous claims in its advertising.” Eryn scowls.
Freddie looks up from the phone with an evil smirk. “So have you ever played it, biggest man Tommy?”
“Eye, so what if I did!” Tommy says embarrassedly.
“That's not a no.” Freddie says dumbfoundedly.
“Fuck you!” Tommy quickly yells at his friends. “It’s free to play and the artwork is pog! Not to mention it’s a pretty fun game.”
His friends just stare at him smirking and stuck with laughter. “Haha” Eryn laughs. “Well what about the rumors? Do you think the game is telling the truth?”
“What rumors?” Freddie asks.
Eryn smiles. “They say that one in every few thousand Magipro plays can become a real magical girl.”
“Are you serious!?” Freddie barks out laughing. “That's insane.”
“I know right.” Eryn smiles. “You know what I think? I think all the “sightings” are just part of a clever marketing strategy.”
“Yeah that would make sense.” Freddie grins. “But man if that's true then these adults sure are out of their minds being sneaky..”
Freddie then turns to Tommy, “Well?” He says mockingly. “Do you believe the rumors Tommy, I bet you do.”
Tommy goes red. “What! Of course I don’t believe them!” He yells as the bus they are on begins to shake.
All three friends and other passengers begin to fall and tumble.
“The bus may begin to shake.” The bus driver says on the intercom after the fact.
“Fuck man! It's too late to warn us now!” Eryn yells to the bus driver.
“For real.” Freddie agrees.
Tommy laughs at his friends, and was happy for the interruption and subject change. He trunks his head to look out the window, but he slightly gasps when he thinks he sees a person jumping on top of the buildings.
He then looks down and chastises himself for imagining for a moment that it really could be a real magical girl/ superhero. Those don’t exist, just good people who do good deeds.
When he gets back from a hard day of school though, he still can’t stop thinking about it, and the “what if?”
He enters his room and lays his head down against his desk.
“It was probably just some big bird or something.” He tells himself. “Or maybe I just imagined it because of the conversation we were having.” He looks to his key chain, “the crowfather.” Not really a magical girl, but according to the game he is.
Tommy reminisces on his past. Watching anime and reading manga all about magical girls and superheroes. He’s always liked them. Even when he was little he would dress up in costumes and play with magical wands and toys. He generally wanted to be one when he was young.
But before he knew it, all the other kids were growing up and moving on to other more mature things. And even the ones that were still into superheroes would chastise him, a boy, for being into magical girls.
They told him only little kids were into that kind of stuff, but it didn’t matter to him. Tommy kept still dreaming of one day getting to become a magical girl.
“Man you’re lucky you don’t have such strict parents.” His old friend Tubbo had said to him.
“What, what do you mean?” Tommy questioned.
“Well your parents aren't constantly looking down your chest at what you’re consuming. My parents won’t even let me buy any magical girl stuff. And I just get made fun of “ Tubbo sighs. “And besides. We’re both boys. Even if we wanted to become magical girls, we could only become basic superheroes or mages. It’s not the same.”
Tubbo then pulls out a “Quests of the CrowFather” anime disc, and hands it to Tommy. Tommy beams at recognizing it. “This is an old issue isn’t it?” He asks.
“Yeah,” Tubbo responds. “I borrowed it from my cousin. I thought you’d like it too.”
“Wow.” Tommy says, staring mesmerized at it. “Thanks Tubbo.” He then looks up to face his friend, and sees that Tubbo has gone red.
“You’re the only friend I can talk to about this stuff.” Tubbo says embarrassedly.. He then remembers something, and goes to his pocket to retrieve it.
“And oh yeah.” He says. “I got two of these, so I thought you would like one.” He then hands Tommy a mini keychain of the crowfather, and Tommy beams.
Tommy now stares fondly at that same keychain. He wonders whatever happened to Tubbo. The two ended up going to different schools, and Tommy lost track of the brunet.
“Oh Tubbo,” Tommy thinks. “ I bet you’ve forgotten all about magical girls by now, and me for that fact.”
After finishing his homework and getting changed out of his school uniform, Tommy lays on his bed to play some more of the game. He’s right back to it battling the evil dark creatures within the game.
Tubbo may have moved on from magical girls, Tommy thinks, but Tommy hasn’t. He still wants to be a magical girl so he can bring other people joy. His dream hadn’t really ever changed. He knows it’s not really possible, but at least with games like this he can sorta pretend.
“Thomas!” His mother calls up the stairs. “Dinner’s ready!”
“Ok!” Tommy yells back. “Just a minute!”
Tommy then stares at his screen after he finished the battle, and is in the process of hitting the [ End game] button, when suddenly XD pops back onto the screen.
“Congrats xe!” XD says. “You’ve been chosen for an event!”
Tommy pulls back. “Wah! An event?!” He then bows his head down. “Great, right when dinners ready, I don’t have time.”
While he’s brooding, XD continues to talk on screen.
Hello there,” XD says. “ I’m the mascot of this game XD!”
Tommy smiles at the strange little blob creature on the screen. “Hey I already knew that.” He smiles.
“You’ve been selected to become a real magical girl! Xe.” XD Says, causing Tommy to open up his eyes. What?
Weird. He thinks. “I didn’t know this game had flash events.” He says to himself.
“It doesn’t. Xe.” XD answers, causing Tommy to draw back.
“You, you can hear me?” Tommy says.
“ Yes.” XD answers. “Believe it or not I have been keeping a very close eye on you ever since you started this game . Xe.” XD says.
“You, you can really hear me.” Tommy says, somewhat afraid now.
“ Tommy innitson.” XD says on the screen. “While watching you I have determined that your behavior, personality, and intellect are all suitable characteristics for being a real life magical girl! Xe!”
“There’s, there’s no way….” Tommy mumbles, not believing his eyes or ears.
Then suddenly something pops up on the screen.
[Become a magical girl]
[Just tap the screen]
Tommy stares at it contemplating. What, what should he do?
His thoughts are then interrupted though, as XD continues to talk.
“Haven't you been dreaming of this opportunity? Xe.” The blob says.
“I, I could seriously become a magical girl?” Tommy thinks and asks himself.
He stares at the screen while it tempts him. He hesitates, but then he just decides “Screw it!” And pushed the button.
Suddenly a wave of light and sparkles fly out of the phone, and Tommy feels blinded by it all and so closes his eyes as a wave takes over him.
And then when he opens his eyes, he’s astounded to see that he just transformed! That he really did become a magical girl!
He stares at himself in the mirror in awe. He looks just like his avatar Theseus.
He is then brought out of his thoughts and awe by his mom once again calling for him . Thomas! Dinner’s ready!”

At the bus station a few days later.
“Eryn,” Freddie says looking at his friend. “Are you looking at that thing again?”
“Yeah.” Eryn smiles, not looking away from his phone. “It says there have been a whole lot more magical girl sightings as of late.”
“Eryn,” Freddie shakes his head pitifully. “There is no way people can magically sprout wings and fly. It’s just ridiculous.” Freddie laughs.
Eryn laughs along. “But wouldn’t it be awesome if they could?” He asks. “If the stories are true!” He turns to Tommy. “Common Tommy! Back me up on this one!”
Tommy stares at his friends, knowing yet awkwardly. “Eeeeh, oh sure.” He tries to smile and act oblivious.
Freddie sighs, but then looks back at his friends and asks, “Hey are you guys hungry?”
“Hmm yeah.” Eryn says. “I could go for some burgers.”
“I aaaaah.” Tommy stutters. “I can’t. I have to run some errands today.” He says, hoping they will buy his excuse.
“Oh that's too bad.” Freddie says.
“Hey maybe another time.” Eryn adds on.
“I, ah. I’m so sorry guys. But I ah, gotta go, bye!” Tommy says as he turns around and starts sprinting away.
He runs away from the bus stanchion and then down some alley ways until he’s sure no one will and can see him. Then he picks a spot, and gets his communicator out of his bag. And with a tap, of the button, he has transformed, and he jumps up into the air.
He jumps from rooftop to rooftop. Building to building. Gliding through the air.
“Is this a dream?” He thinks to himself. “ Am I really a real magical girl now?”
Flashback to the first day:
“Is this, is this me?” Tommy asks, astonished as he looks at himself in the Theseus get up. He smiles at himself in the mirror. “I look, Awesome!”
“It’s true. Xe.” XD says from the phone. “And from this day forward you’ll be acting as the magical girl known as Theseus.” XD says at Tommy continues to admire himself.
Tommy smiles. “Yay!” He jumps up into the air, but unwillingly super jumps and punches and hits the ceiling. He then slowly tumbles down.
“FYI,” XD says. “When you transform, your abilities are extremely advanced. So be careful, and keep that in mind. Xe.”
“Got it.” Tommy says as he stands back up from the floor.
Then, “Hold out your hands.” XD says. And so Tommy rises and looks towards his phone where the blob creature is displayed.
Then suddenly, before his eyes, something begins to materialize between and above his hands. Tommy stares in awe.
“This is your very own magical communicator. Xe.” XD says. “You can use this to go to the basic tutorial about your new role and abilities.” The phone lands in his hands. “You can also use it to contact the other magical girls. Xe.” XD says and suddenly becomes projected out of the communicator.
“There are more?” Tommy asks.
“Yes.” XD answers. “As of now there are currently 14 other magical girls around the city.”
“Wow.” Tommy’s eyes light up. “There are so many.”
“And with you.” XD says. “Now there’s 15 Theseus. And along with your increased physical abilities, you’ll also have a unique ability that only you’ll have.”
In the present Tommy hears a little boy crying out, and so jumps down from a rooftop and sees the boy’s cat stuck in a tree.
“Whenever someone is in need, your special ability is to hear their thoughts in your head! Xe.”
Tommy manages to get the cat down from the tree, with a few scratches, and hands the cat to the now smiling boy.
“ Your goal is to help as many people as you can, and in the process you’ll earn magical candies.”
The sun is setting and Tommy looks and smiles at all the candies he’s earned, all the people he’s helped.
“Unless you wish it to be otherwise, the people you interact with will only retain vague memories of the encounter, and so your identity will be kept a secret.”
Tommy helps lift a car that's jammed at the side of the road.
“Even if they take pictures, they’ll never show up clearly, so you should be able to do your job without any worries! Xe!”
Tommy next see’s an elderly woman, tired from walking up several stairs, and so he approaches and lifts her up, carrying her the rest of the way.
“The most you’ll be in an urban legend.“ XD says.
It’s getting dark and Tommy is about to go home, when he hears someone in distress nearby. He approaches and sees a tall lanky boy who’s wearing a mask, who appears to be locked out and lost his key.
Tommy spots it on the ground, and so lands, picks it up, and gently hands it to the boy, who stares at him in awe.
“Here you go.” Tommy says, and the boy just continues to stare in astoundment, before finally taking the key. But when the boy looks up, Theseus is already gone.
It’s definitely late now, so Tommy returns home and gets to his room through his window. Where he then de-transforms.
“You really are doing such a great job! Xe!” XD says as Tommy gets changed into his pj’s.
“It’s hard to believe you’ve only been a magical girl for a week.”
Tommy turns slightly red. “Oh really? Well, becoming a magical girl and getting to help people has always been a dream of mine, so I guess that's why.” Tommy answers.
“Oh and hey XD,” Tommy asks. “I was wondering, what are the other magical girls like?”
“Hmmm.” XD thinks. “I think it's about time for you to start interacting with other magical girls. Xe.”
Tommy’s eyes widen.
“I’ll arrange a meeting. Xe.” XD says.
“Oh,” Tommy asks. “Is there a local club or warehouse or something?”
“No.” XD laughs. “But you can use your magical communicator to connect with everyone else. Xe. You’ll be gathering in an online chat room!”
Tommy picks up the communicator, and sure enough he’s been added to a chat room and can see some people chatting.
404: Hello!
Time Wiz: Oh she’s here
Fortuna: Oh it’s the new guy everyone’s talking about!
Tommy takes a breath looking at all the different names and avatars in the chat.
Theseus: Oh Hello there! It’s so nice to meet all of you!
Time Wiz: Oh chill out, you don’t have to be so formal
404: hi I’m 404
Fortuna: You’re so polite, you may call me Fortuna
AutumnWall: Names Aims Autumn Wall, nice to meet you.
Le Majordome: Hi I’m le majordome, it’s nice to meet you,
Dream: And I’m known as Dream, the hunter of the forest.
Fortuna: We actually had more girls in here earlier, but you’ve just missed them.
Le Majordome: We were all just talking about you Theseus.
Tommy gasps looking at the chat.
404: Yeah, you’re practically famous
Time Wiz: It’s only been like a week since we were told there was going to be a new magical girl joining the ranks.
Fortuna: Yet you already have the top store for the week!
Time Wiz: You’re making us look bad kid! Yeesh
Tommy blinks looking at the chat. “Top store, what's that?”
Dream: There are score rankings
Dream: You can check them using your communicator.
AutumnWall: I’m sure there must be a lot of things you don’t understand, so feel free to ask the senior girls for help, alright!
Le Majordome: I’ll be the one responsible for training you, so if you have any questions please do come to me.
Le Majordome: I’m really looking forward to meeting and working with you.
Theseus: Thanks
Tommy types. “Looking, forward, to working with you too.”
He then turns to the clock and see’s the time.
“Wow, it’s already so late!”
Theseus: I have to go, thank you all though!
Fortuna: Goodbye!
404: Sweet dreams!
Le Majordome: Goodnight!
Time Wiz: Later
[log out]
Tommy logs out, and then lies back against his bed with a smile. “Wow.” he thinks. “Everyone there seems to be so friendly, but I wonder what the rest of the magical girl’s are like?”
His mind goes to one person with a purple avatar that was present but said nothing.
“Now that I think about it,” He says. “That one person really didn’t say anything at all. Strange.”
He is then sucked out of his thoughts by a message on his communicator.
Le Majordome: hey
Le Majordome: I know you said ur going to slep
Le Majordome: but can we meet up qicuk
“Oh.” Tommy says. He then looks up at the clock one more time, and he guesses he can stay out a bit later.
Theseus: Sure
Le Majordome: Great!
Le Majordome: meet me at these cords
Le Majordome:#############
And so thats how Tommy finds himself magical girling it up again, and making his way to a cell tower.
“Is this where they wanted me to meet them?” He asks himself, looking around.
“Hey up here!” They call, and then he spots them at the top of the tower, and so he jumps up, feeling somewhat nervous about his first encounter with another magical girl.
“There they are.” He thinks when he sees them, back facing him. “And they look just like their avatar from the chat room.” He realizes.
“Eh, Sorry for being late bigman!” Tommy nervously says once the girl has turned to him. “It’s nice to meet you, in person I mean that is.”
“No, thank you for coming.” Le Majordome responds. “It’s just, because I’m the one responsible for training you, I thought it’d be good if we started as early as possible! Ok!”
“Oh, ok.” Tommy answers.
Le Majordome smiles. “Thanks, and again, I’m Le Majordome.” They say. Tommy walks up closer to them, still rather nervous.
“And now for a quick lesson,” Le Majordome says. “We’re all responsible for our own distracts, so it’s not too common to run into each other. I’m the district next to you, so training you just made sense. Plus…… well, nevermind. We should go.”
They make their way through the city by rooftops, and Tommy thinks to ask. “Hey, doesn’t this distcat belong to someone else?”
“It’s fine.” Le Majordome answers. “As long as we don’t interfere with their work, we’ll be ok. However, I wouldn’t get too close to Sherif John’s territory, he's the one responsible for the district up that way in manberg.”
“Really? Why’s that?” Tommy questions.
Le Majordome laughs. “He acts more like an old outlaw from those old western movies, even as a magical girl.” They turn to look at him. “You should definitely avoid his area.”
“An outlaw? Seriously.” Tommy hufs. “But magical girls are supposed to be pure, righteous, champions of justice.”
To that Le Majordome laughs.
Tommy turns to them with a somewhat scowl. “What!? What is it? Did I say something wrong?!”
Le Majordome then stops laughing. “No, sorry. It’s nothing wrong or weird. Just… don’t worry about it. It’s up to each of us to decide what is righteous though. Magical girls aren't bound to the laws of normal society. “
Le Majordome The points over towards the east. “See over there in the Nevadas territory. There’s a group of magical girls who all work together there under their commander who goes by Leader. He’s kinda cranky, so keep that in mind in case you run into them.”
“You mean they work as a team?” Tommy asks.
“That’s right.” Le Majordome answers. “And some of us even like to form pairs as well. Helps us cover more together.”
“Oh hello, look who it is.” A voice comes from the sky. Tommy and Le Majordome both look up, and Tommy realizes it’s the person everyone has been seeing and calling the witch magical girl. They're riding on some sort of staff, and along with them is the purple guy.
“Oh hi.” Le Majordome says. “That's Time Wiz and Purpled. They’re one of the pairs I was talking about.”
“Oh, hello there!” Tommy says up to them.
“Yooo!” Time Wiz waves. “How’s the newbie training going guys?”
“Just getting started boss man.” Le Majordome answers them. “What are you two up too?”
“Patrolling the highways,” Time Wiz says, “right?” they say looking back towards their companion.
And Tommy gets a good look at them. They look kinda like a purple ninja, it’s pretty cool.
“Hmmm, don’t mind him, mr. grumpy face.” Time Wiz says. “His character is a total tsundere.”
“Hey quit it!” The purple guy yells.”Now let's go, we’re running out of time in the night.”
Time Wiz just smiles down to them. “See ya later crochiles!” And then in a wiz, they're gone.
“So you said they’re one of the pairs, right?” Tommy questions.
“Yeah they're a good example.” Le Majordome says. “Time Wiz was Purpled’s trainer when he first became a magical girl. So they just kinda formed a pair naturally.”
“I guess.” Tommy thinks. “ But I really feel like Time Wiz’s outfit makes him look more like a wizard than a magical girl. And Purpled looks like a ninja.“
“Are you tired?” Le Majordome questions, bringing Tommy back out of his head.
“Ah, no, not really.” He answers. “Why? What is it?”
Le Majordome smiles. “Well out of the 15 magical girls here, I’d say that you’re the most typical out of all of us.”
Tommy takes a minute to process it at first, but then he's smiling. “You really think so! Why thank you big man! I’ve always wanted to be a real magical girl ever since I was little, and now I finally am! This is so pog!” He screams.
Le Majordome continues smiling as Tommy goes on. “That's why I’m going to do my very best to be the best magical girl.”
While talking though, Tommy notices Le Majordome’s face start to go red.
“Is something the matter?” He asks them. “Your face is going kinda red.”
Le Majordome begins to back up and turns away. “It is?” They question. “Oh it’s nothing. So anyway, “ They change the subject. “Would you like to pair up with me, boss man?” They ask.
Tommy is surprised by the question, but smiles. “Really? Seriously?”
“Ah yeah.” Le Majordome says. “I’ve wanted to ever since I first heard about you. So what do you say boss man? Wanna pair up?”
Tommy is about to say yes, when then they continue.
“You know you look just like the picture you once drew.” they say, making Tommy stop in shock. What?
“I knew who you were right away.” Le Majordome says. “Are you… Tommy?” They ask nervously, and Tommy feels thrown for a loop.
“Please, please don’t freak out!” Le Majordome says. They then once again turn away nervously. “I, I’m Tubbo. Tubbo underscore….”
“Whaaaa…..” Tommy says as his eyes widen and he process.
“Gees!” Le Majordome says. “We went to elementary school together! Did you already forget me?”
Tommy stares at the magical girl before him and then pictures the Tubbo he once knew. This, this couldn’t be. Could it?
“Come on. Don’t say you already forgot about me.” Le Majordome says.
“Whhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!!!!” Tommy screams into the air.
“No, no I didn’t forget you, I just. Tubbo! You’re a woman suddenly!? How did this happen! Is the magical girl power that strong? I just, I never imagined that you’d be a magical girl?!”
Le Majordome, or, Tubbo, smiles. “Me too. Honestly it only happened about a month ago. And I was so surprised when I found out that you had become one too boss man.”
“You-you were?” Tommy questions. “But, you know I’ve loved magical girls since forever.”
“Well I loved them forever too, boss. But if the other kids found out, they’d treat me like a weirdo. I have to go a town over just so I can rent dvd’s and manga without anyone knowing, and I have to hid and stash it around without anyone knowing so I won’t be judged.”
The two laugh and smile.
“I know we ended up going to different schools, but I saw you doing stuff like trampolining and soccer. I just imagined you’d gotten over magical girls. “ Tommy says.
“Sure soccer and trampolining are fun and everything.” Tubbo says. “But that doesn’t mean I’ve outgrown magical girls yet.”
“That's awesome.” Tommy says. “I’m happy you haven’t. Just forgive me, I was surprised for either of us getting to become magical girls and all, but I’m even more surprised, so see you actually being one looking like a girl and all. “
Tubbo smiles. “I asked XD about it, and he says it’s pretty rare for this sorta thing to happen, even going world wide. But no, boys get to be magical girls just as much as girls do actually.”
“And ah, sorry if I’m rude again.” Tommy says. “But do you just look like a girl,, or are you actually one now?”
“Oh well,” Tubbo answers. “I’m still a boy, but when I transform, yes I completely become a female. Chalk it up to magic I guess.”
“Wow.” Tommy says in response. “Thats kinda strangely pog.”
“What, really?” Tubbo asks. “So would you like to pair up with me then?”
“Yeah.” Tommy grins. “I couldn;t think of anyone I’d rather pair up with. This will be so fun.”
Tubbo smiles at him, and then. “Huh, now that I realize it, I haven't shown you my ability yet boss man. “
“Ooh what is it?” Tommy questions.
Tubbo then materializes a sword, that grows as she lifts it up.
“I vow.” Tubbo says, bowing his blade towards Tommy. “That on my sacred blade, that I, magical knight Le Majordome, shall protect the magical girl Theseus.” He then rises, and turns around seeming embarrassed. Tommy chuckles at him.
“So yeah, my character is a knight, and all.” Tubbo says.
“Well if we do run into any danger, “ Tommy says. “I’m sure we’ll make a great team, and I’ll feel really safe with you and your sword around.”
“Oh,” Tubbo then says. “There isn’t really anything in the human world that could hurt us magical girls, so you don’t need to worry boss man.”
Tubbo then extends his hand. “I'm excited to work with you Theseus.”
Tommy smiles. “And you too, Le Majordome.”
