“You are into my gloves?”
Prompto squirmed, shifting his eyes uncomfortably. “Y-yeah, I mean, your gloves were the first thing I noticed about you,” he stammered.
Ignis moved in even closer. Their faces were only a breath apart, and Prompto looked ready to flee. Fortunately, there was nowhere for him to go with the wall against his back and Ignis in his personal space. The advisor smirked. “These?” he asked, running a gloved finger down the column of the poor boy’s neck.
Prompto looked ready to combust on the spot. “Yep!” he squeaked.
Ignis chuckled and ran his finger back up the same path. “Do you like everything else attached to them?”
Prompto jolted.“Huh? Oh, duh! What’s not to like?”
The sultry tone fell from Ignis’ voice. “Some people find that I can be a bit…” he paused, considering a fitting term, “difficult.”
“Not at all, Igster! You’re great all around.”
Ignis laughed through his nose. Then he looked directly into Prompto’s eyes while his gloved finger brushed the curve of his cheek. “Then, Prompto, dear, I suppose I shall give this a try.”
No more words were shared as their mouths met. Prompto’s legs buckled and he would have fallen if not for Ignis’ body weight holding him in place against the wall.
Each time Ignis touched a new area of the boy’s skin with his glove, he shivered. One kiss in, and Ignis already knew he had made the right choice.
