eiffel so in love

Summary:

Normal people might take someone across the world to propose to them. Wonwoo takes Seungkwan across the world just to ask him out.

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

Wonwoo always loves being with Seungkwan. But to be honest, he didn't expect this first-class plane journey to start off with Seungkwan nagging him about: "You can't just randomly take me across the globe, you richies need to understand that you can't just flaunt your money and expect the world to revolve around-"

"Seungkwannie," Wonwoo says from where he's laying back with his eyes closed, fond yet exasperated, "when I told you I wanted to take you to Paris, you immediately ran all the way to my house to hug me so hard that we both fell over."

Seungkwan huffs but has the gall to look a bit ashamed. "Yeah, but...I didn't realise how difficult it would be to take an impromptu trip like this. I only just managed to sort things out with work and I had plans, you know?"

"I didn't tell you to drop them for me."

"I'd drop anything for you, hyung," Seungkwan mutters, tapping frantically at his phone. "And you say I ran 'all the way' to your house but we live two streets apart."

Wish we lived closer. Like in the same house, Wonwoo thinks but doesn't have the courage to say out loud. "Oops, sorry."

Seungkwan thwacks his shoulder with his phone, and Wonwoo just opens his eyes to smile at him. Seungkwan's stress seems to melt away a little then as he holds out an arm and Wonwoo gives him his own.

"Why do you have to be so far away?" Seungkwan complains. "Stupid comfy fancy first-class with all this space when we could've been all warm and squished up together in economy and you could've saved all that money..."

"I seem to be doing everything wrong, aren't I?" Wonwoo laughs, and just when Seungkwan's eyes widen like he wants to take it back, Wonwoo nods his head to his side. "We can still squish up if you really want to."

Seungkwan blinks, but once he processes what Wonwoo means, he grins and immediately gets up to steal the space Wonwoo has left in his seat. Wonwoo's heart races because they really do end up completely squished together, even after Wonwoo shuffles to the side as much as he can, and Seungkwan's body heat radiates. Wonwoo watches fondly as he wiggles about trying to get comfortable even though Wonwoo's not sure that's possible with this little space, but eventually he seems content with a position where the two of them are turned so that they're facing each other and Wonwoo rests a hand on Seungkwan's knee where one of the guy's legs is draped over Wonwoo's lap.

Wonwoo's not sure how safe this is but he's so happy right now that he hopes the flight attendant doesn't make any remarks.

"I'm sorry I'm rich and made things difficult for you," Wonwoo murmurs and Seungkwan laughs, shaking his head.

"I'm just being nitpicky, hyung." Seungkwan knocks his forehead against Wonwoo's since they're definitely close enough, closing his eyes. "I'm so excited."

"And you're pretty when you are," Wonwoo tells him, smiling when Seungkwan harks a laugh at that as well.

"So what about when I'm not?!"

"You're pretty then, too."

"Silly hyung," Seungkwan says, pleased and shy as he curls up more and rests his head on Wonwoo's shoulder now. Wonwoo tries so hard not to kiss his forehead, just whispers, "Get some sleep," and Seungkwan hums softly in reply.

Wonwoo spends the rest of the flight trying to be very still because he has the cutest guy in the world dozing on him.

Wonwoo and Seungkwan met about five years ago, when Wonwoo had been CEO of his company for only a month and the workload was insane. He was meant to meet a friend at a bar one night but ended up getting there hours late because of work holding him back, and the instant he walked inside, he was hit by the loveliest singing he'd ever heard. Soulful, strong, and pure warmth.

He made his way inside the bar almost in a trance, trying to get a look at the stage but then an arm reached out and dragged him to the side.

"It's karaoke today," Soonyoung told Wonwoo, slapping his back playfully. "That's why I invited you. You love karaoke but this is the last song!"

Wonwoo barely heard him because he finally had a decent view of the stage, and to this day he still can't believe how lucky he was that the first time he ever saw Seungkwan was when he was singing. Wonwoo really does always think that Seungkwan's pretty but when he's doing something he loves so much, something he's so good at, something he puts his whole heart and soul into, that's when Wonwoo finds him the most beautiful.

Soonyoung whooped and cheered loudly when Seungkwan was done, and Wonwoo absent-mindedly clapped too, a bit dazed. Seungkwan bowed and said his thanks into the microphone before getting down from the little stage and starting to head over to Wonwoo. Who remembers wondering why on earth this amazing singer was going towards him, and if he had done something wrong like looking at Seungkwan too weirdly - but it was Soonyoung that Seungkwan was going there for. Soonyoung trapped the guy into a big hug and chewed his ear off about how great he did as Seungkwan half-groaned half-laughed and tried to push him off. Wonwoo just watched awkwardly, confused and amazed.

"Wonwoo, this is my pal, Seungkwan! We met at work," Soonyoung introduced them as he partially let Seungkwan go but still kept an arm around his shoulders. "I didn't even know he'd be here but wasn't he so good?"

"Yeah," Wonwoo agreed weakly. "So good."

Seungkwan beamed at him, the apples of his cheeks brushing a pretty pink. "Thank you."

Soonyoung sighed dramatically. "So mad that you didn't see Wonwoo do karaoke, Kwan. This guy can really tear up a stage."

Seungkwan's eyes sparkled at Wonwoo, a clear curious 'really?' in them, and Wonwoo quickly shook his head. "No. I can't. Don't listen to him, he's...stupid."

Soonyoung gasped in pure offence, while Seungkwan snickered, "I mean, you are."

Then Seungkwan blinked at Wonwoo, frowning a little, and Wonwoo wondered (again) what he'd done wrong.

"Oh, your- can I?" Seungkwan asked, reaching out a little like he was going to touch Wonwoo's face and Wonwoo did not know what was going on but he nodded anyway. It just turned out to be Seungkwan turning down Wonwoo's coat collar, asking things like how he couldn't feel the edge poking at his neck. Wonwoo was too distracted by the close proximity to answer.

He knows now that that was the start of years down the line of Seungkwan's fussing - fussing that always makes Wonwoo feel really loved, strangely.

"Sorry, I could've done that myself," Wonwoo had apologised, but Seungkwan just stepped back and shook his head, sending him a sweet smile.

Soonyoung ended up having to leave early because he wasn't planning to be out for too long anyway and Wonwoo was the one who had got there so late, but somehow neither Wonwoo nor Seungkwan decided to leave with him. They just had one-on-one drinks instead, where Seungkwan usually led the conversation and Wonwoo nodded along but he didn't mind listening when the person talking was so cute and animated with his words.

"So you and Soonyoung met at work," Wonwoo said, really trying his hand at the small talk thing for once. "Are you a dancer, too, then?"

"Oh, I wish I could do what Soonyoung-hyung does. No, I'm a singer. Mostly back-up right now but-"

"Good," Wonwoo said, probably with pretty bad timing, and the look Seungkwan gave him in response was adorable. A scrunchy mix of confusion and hesitant happiness.

"What do you mean 'good'?"

"Because I can tell that singing is what you were born to do, so. Good."

That made all the confusion go away, and Seungkwan looked like he was glowing as he smiled down at his glass. "Right."

After that night, it was like some kind of string kept pulling them together. Wonwoo kept thinking about Seungkwan every now and then, kept wanting to see him, and what made him feel giddy is that Seungkwan always met him halfway. He still does. Seungkwan invites him to his gigs and Wonwoo goes to as many as he can, and they get lunch together most days which drags Wonwoo out of the office and away from the usual fast food that he gets delivered while he works because Seungkwan insists on Wonwoo eating well and Wonwoo only ever wants to take Seungkwan to the nicest restaurants.

They also really do only live a couple streets apart so it's easy to make plans. Easy for Seungkwan to stop by and say hi during an evening run, easy for Wonwoo to drop everything and visit if Seungkwan posts on his private Instagram about feeling lonely (actually Wonwoo's not that bold so he usually just texts Seungkwan about it which in return has Seungkwan calling him cute and playfully ordering him to come over), easy for them to do movie nights and game nights and even karaoke nights. Seungkwan does think that Wonwoo can tear up a stage, which makes Wonwoo feel very pleased.

And even if sometimes they fall asleep together and Wonwoo cuddles Seungkwan a little too long (read: the whole night), Seungkwan's never complained.

To be honest, though. Wonwoo's always liked Seungkwan so much that he probably would've done all that stuff even if he lived on the other side of town.

Wonwoo's in the middle of changing into more comfortable clothes after they'd arrived at the hotel they were staying at, just having taken his shirt off, when a door opens and Seungkwan peeks his head through.

"Hyung, why didn't you get us in one room?" Seungkwan frowns as Wonwoo tries hard to swallow his surprised blush. "I'm gonna miss you."

So cute. "Oh...sorry, they only had rooms with one bed on such short notice so I thought you might not-"

"This bed's massive, we totally could've shared!" Seungkwan argues, pointing at Wonwoo's bed which is, indeed, massive. But then Seungkwan mellows as he plays with the door. "This conjoining door is pretty nice, though."

"Yep, means you can walk in on me while I'm changing," Wonwoo says, trying to make a joke out of his embarrassment as he hunts for his pyjama shirt that he suddenly can't find. Seungkwan decides to slink inside then, teasing, "Why? You shy, hyung?", and it takes a miracle for Wonwoo to stay still when Seungkwan comes close enough to touch. Then he actually does touch and Wonwoo almost chokes on his bated breath.

"Such a nice body, hyung," Seungkwan murmurs, brushing his fingers over Wonwoo's abdomen. "I know you work out a lot, like twice a day, right? What are you going to do while you're here?"

"Um...slack off?" Wonwoo says like it's a question, because all he wants to do in the few days they'll be here is spend time with Seungkwan. But Seungkwan shakes his head.

"No way. There might be no weights here but," Seungkwan curls his arms around Wonwoo's neck and says cheekily," there's still me."

"Oh, I see. You just want to be carried around," Wonwoo says, pretending to be unimpressed meanwhile Seungkwan pretends to be offended, scoffing, "Well, if I've got a big strong handsome man offering!"

"And when did I offer?"

"Literally just now, you don't remember?"

"Gaslighting me. You spend way too much time with Jeonghan," Wonwoo laughs, and Seungkwan breaks into a grin. Just when he looks like he's going to drop it, though, Wonwoo swiftly lifts Seungkwan up into his arms, making Seungkwan gasp and kick his legs in the air.

"I- I didn't say now-!"

"Can I ever please you?" Wonwoo jokes. He's playing around so he doesn't expect a reply as serious as Seungkwan telling him with the brightest eyes, "You do, hyung. All the time."

It's all-encompassing, how much Wonwoo loves him.

He says nothing and just spins around the room which has Seungkwan laughing yet beating at Wonwoo to put him down. But this is what Seungkwan asked for and if Wonwoo had it his way, he'd never let him go.

Wonwoo got the idea for this trip about a week ago. He had plans with Seungkwan one night, but then work got too rough and he was still in his office well into the evening. He called Seungkwan up and the guy was huffy for a little while, but after Wonwoo couldn't stop apologising, Seungkwan hushed him and told him it was fine.

"We hang out so much, hyung! There'll always be next time."

True, but it's hard to care about a next time if Wonwoo could ever have Seungkwan right now.

"Hey, look out the window," Seungkwan told him. "Just for a second."

"Are you going to say something cute about how you're looking out the window too and we're both looking up at the same night sky?" Wonwoo teased even as he got up and stood before the big windows behind his desk that show off the city.

Seungkwan retched. "Cheesy. But it's a pretty view, right? I bet you could see the Eiffel Tower from there."

"In what world could you see the Eiffel Tower from any place in South Korea?"

"I'm exaggerating, know-it-all! And it's too far away for me to see much but I've kinda seen your office from the outside before."

"You can come inside, too. Whenever you want."

"I tried to once but security wouldn't let me and you're on such a high floor anyway that I gave up."

"Seriously?" Wonwoo ended up having some words with security after that. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted to surprise you! But, anyway. If you look down, can you ever see anything? Or is it all too small because you're soooo high up?"

"I'm 'soooo high up', am I?" Wonwoo said in amusement as he looked down, but Seungkwan was right. The streetlights dotted the roads like grounded stars, the trees were like little blobs of green, and the people milling about looked like ants. Exactly what you'd expect. "Yeah, can't see much."

"You wouldn't recognise any of the people down there, would you?"

"My glasses aren't that binocular. Why?"

"Because I'm one of them," Seungkwan says, and it was only then that Wonwoo noticed the breathlessness in Seungkwan's voice. The joy, too. "It's cold. Come get me, hyung."

Wonwoo was out his office in seconds. Didn't bother with the elevators, he didn't win gold in track during high school for nothing even if he hadn't ever moved this fast since, and staff stared as he raced to the revolving doors and almost smacked his face on the glass but he managed to get through it unscathed. Seungkwan was standing just a few feet away with his back to Wonwoo, rubbing his hands together for warmth, and Wonwoo skidded in front of him and took hold of his hands in his own. They felt like blocks of ice.

"Why are you here?" Wonwoo asked, frazzled. "I'll get someone to make you tea."

"I'm here because you sounded so sad about not being able to see me," Seungkwan laughed, batting Wonwoo's hands away just so that he could hug him. "And I can make my own tea!"

Wonwoo loved that night. He probably ended up finishing his work even later than he should've, but it was worth it when he had Seungkwan perching on his lap reading his documents and nodding solemnly like he understood what they were on about. The morale boost it gave Wonwoo definitely had him powering through all of it a lot easier.

"Wanna see the view?" Wonwoo asked, chin hooked over Seungkwan's shoulder as Seungkwan flicked through files that were classified so Wonwoo should have probably stopped him (he didn't).

Seungkwan shook his head. "Nope. I'll only be disappointed because the Eiffel Tower isn't there."

"Why do you want the Eiffel Tower to be there so badly?"

"Maybe you should be asking yourself why you don't work in Paris."

"I wouldn't be able to see you if I worked in Paris."

"I'd go to Paris with you," Seungkwan said, so casually, and Wonwoo's brain short-circuited a little. He wasn't sure if that just meant that Seungkwan would go with him if he moved then come back here after Wonwoo was settled or if Seungkwan would visit or if he'd actually uproot his whole life just to live with Wonwoo in Paris or if - and this is the most likely option - Seungkwan was just making a joke and Wonwoo was overthinking too much.

He wondered if the city of love would finally push him to make a move.

"Then let's go," Wonwoo said, and Seungkwan burst into laughter.

"Yeah right!"

In that moment, Wonwoo just smiled and got on with more work. Who knew that he wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it and it boiled over into him spontaneously booking him tickets for real three days later.

Their first night in Paris passes by quick since their plane had landed in the evening, and Seungkwan and Wonwoo have a nice dinner together in the restaurant downstairs. Wonwoo gets a call from work which makes his eye twitch, but Seungkwan says he's fine with it just as long as he can hold Wonwoo's hand at the same time and that's so cute that Wonwoo feels a pang in his chest.

He doesn't let go of Seungkwan's hand during the whole dinner and Seungkwan calls him clingy. Wonwoo tells him to let go himself then, but Seungkwan adamantly shakes his head. Seems like they've reached a standstill.

Well, they have to let go of each other to head into their separate rooms because of the laws of matter or something. Wonwoo watches some videos on his phone, pokes his head through the conjoined door to wish Seungkwan goodnight, then gets ready for bed. He turns the lights off, gets under the covers, then not even ten minutes pass before the conjoined door carefully creaks open. Has Wonwoo mentioned how cute Seungkwan is?

"Seungkwannie," Wonwoo murmurs, a little groggy but still awake enough to know what's going on. "C'mere."

"You really know how to make a guy swoon, don't you, hyung?" Seungkwan teases, pretending to fan himself. Wonwoo snorts sleepily, opening up his covers, and feels instantaneous warmth when Seungkwan makes his way inside. Wonwoo gravitates towards him like a moth to a flame and Seungkwan hums happily, gently clasping the arm that Wonwoo curls over Seungkwan's stomach.

"It's funny, hyung," Seungkwan murmurs. "I know you love me a lot. I feel like I take advantage of it sometimes."

"You absolutely do," Wonwoo deadpans, making Seungkwan laugh under his breath. "But I'm glad you know."

Seungkwan twists to look back at him over his shoulder, carding a hand through Wonwoo's hair. "D'you know I love you a lot, too?"

It would be so easy. To just nudge forward and kiss him, close the distance that's barely centimetres because Wonwoo doesn't want any, all while Seungkwan's telling him that he loves him. But Wonwoo can't do it because he can never do it, so he just squeezes Seungkwan's middle and whispers, "I know."

"You can take advantage of it sometimes, too."

"I don't already?"

"Not enough!"

Wonwoo chuckles. "Sorry, then. I'll definitely try to be more demanding with your love if that's what you want."

Seungkwan smiles at him, pretty and gentle, before he turns back and closes his eyes. Wonwoo dares himself to get closer and, wishing he even had the strength to peck one of the moles by Seungkwan's ear, just closes his eyes as well.

It's fine. He's still got almost a week left. He'll do this.

He doesn't do it the next day when they go to the Louvre and Seungkwan whispers in Wonwoo's ear that he's not sure whether the paintings or Wonwoo is prettier.

He doesn't do it when they're walking through the Jardin des Plantes surrounded by all kinds of beautiful romantic flowers, where Seungkwan holds onto his arm while he looks around in awe and Wonwoo's pretty sure that some people they pass by tell them in French that they make a lovely couple. Seungkwan just smiles at them, none the wiser, and Wonwoo hopes his hat hides how his ears burn.

He doesn't do it when they walk past the Centre Pompidou and Wonwoo wants to ask Seungkwan if they can go inside because he wants to see their library but he thinks Seungkwan will call him a nerd, but before he can say anything, Seungkwan runs over to where a keyboardist is playing on the plaza. The two of them somehow communicate with barely any words and a lot of hand gestures before the keyboardist starts playing and Seungkwan sings along. Something English, something beautiful, with his bright exuberant eyes on Wonwoo as he lets the whole place know how gorgeous his voice- he is. And all Wonwoo does is watch, feeling so lovesick that it aches.

"Hyung, hyung," Seungkwan says at dinner that night when Wonwoo's still reeling a little bit. They've been here two days and Wonwoo's so overloaded on love that he might not be able to handle any more. "When are we going to see the Eiffel Tower?"

Oh, right. "We can go after this if you want."

Seungkwan jaw drops. "I- yes, I want. Did you forget about it?"

"No way, I know it's what you want to see the most," Wonwoo clarifies, making Seungkwan nod firmly. "I just..." ...wanted to go there after I'd confessed. Wanted to kiss you while it sparkled behind us.

But it's okay. It's one of many landmarks. Wonwoo can just take Seungkwan somewhere else pretty if- when he finally does it.

"We'll go straight there when we're done," Wonwoo promises, reaching out across the table, and Seungkwan grins as he takes Wonwoo's hand and presses a happy kiss to his knuckles. Wonwoo's heart sighs.

It's not long before Seungkwan makes sure they both bundle up warm and they head out into the night to see the tower. It's not a long walk from their hotel - that was something that Wonwoo made sure of when he booked it - and Seungkwan hurries in front like an excited puppy the closer they get to the sparkling spectacle. Wonwoo watches fondly and he has to say, it's pretty damn beautiful. All of it.

Wonwoo buys Seungkwan anything he wants from the stalls to the side, and then they launch into photo territory. Seungkwan asks Wonwoo while the latter is taking a sneaky video, "Is it showing? Is the Eiffel Tower showing?" and Wonwoo gives him a thumbs up. Wonwoo goes into a bit of a manic photo-taking mode because this place is so pretty, Seungkwan is so pretty - it might as well be heaven. When it starts to rain and Seungkwan runs over to him gasping, hiding himself in Wonwoo's jacket even though he's got his own, Wonwoo looks to the sky and mouths his thanks to whatever's up there.

After walking a little, they're able to get up high to take a picture with the tower behind them in the distance. It's a perfect spot and Seungkwan manages to ask someone to take their picture, so they stand next to each other to get some shots of the tower sparkling between them. Wonwoo looks over at Seungkwan and says, "Hey, pretend I said something funny," and grins when Seungkwan immediately dramatically follows his cue, scrunching his whole face up and covering his hand with a mouth like Wonwoo's said the funniest thing in the world. Seungkwan's giving Wonwoo way too much credit for a silly idea and it makes Wonwoo adore him all the more.

"I love you, Seungkwan," Wonwoo says, so sudden and clear that it surprises himself, and it definitely surprises Seungkwan too by the way he goes rigid before slowly turning to face Wonwoo. He looks a little spooked but he keeps smiling, asking, "Wow, is the ambience getting to you, hyu-"

"I want to kiss you in front of the Eiffel Tower."

Oh. Fuck. That just came out of nowhere, and Wonwoo freezes as Seungkwan stares at him with the widest eyes and so does the person they asked to take their photos. "No, wait, I didn't...God, this is not how it was meant to go-"

"It's okay," Seungkwan immediately reassures him, breathy and sweet as his warm hands slide up Wonwoo's cold face. "Don't swallow your words, take your time. You can do it."

Wonwoo almost smiles. Of course Seungkwan is coaching Wonwoo through a confession to the guy himself, what else did he expect? For Seungkwan, Wonwoo takes a deep breath and dials back.

"You know, for years, I...I thought it would be okay. To just stay like this. We became so close which was already amazing and surprising to me and I'm scared to ruin it, but then you do things like live two streets away when you could just live with me or you sing like your entire heart is in each word or you fuss over me because you care so much or you just be really cute and I realise that you're too incredible and I want so, so much more. Am I greedy?"

"If you're greedy then I don't even know what I can be classified as," Seungkwan laughs, eyes glassy, and Wonwoo feels like he has to ask what the hell Seungkwan means by that but Seungkwan keeps talking. "Perfect handsome gentleman CEO who does anything I say and whisks me away to Paris at the drop of a hat. You know you're way too good to be true, right?"

"I'm true," Wonwoo insists, wondering if this is why Seungkwan's never said anything. "And I'm not perfect. I'm silly, I'm a workaholic, I didn't plan this trip whatsoever,  I buy too many video games that I don't have time to play, I'm too embarrassed to ask you to go to a library with me, and I could've done this so long ago."

"Library?" Seungkwan asks in pure amused disbelief, resting his forehead against Wonwoo's. "Hyungie, be more selfish, please. I would go to any library with you and totally not because I have a fantasy of secretly making out behind the bookshelves."

Wonwoo's heartbeat spikes. "Seungkwan, we...take it easy on me...we haven't even kissed once yet..."

"We can change that, hyung," Seungkwan murmurs, and Wonwoo's breath hitches as Seungkwan tips his head to the side, watching Wonwoo's lips with hooded eyes. It's enchanting. Wonwoo's hands that have been hovering uselessly for the past few minutes drop now, resting on Seungkwan's waist so he can tug him closer and Seungkwan lets out a light surprised noise when their chests hit.

"Really hope you don't mind that the last thing I ate was garlic snails," Wonwoo whispers right before their lips meet, which means that their first kiss is full of smiles - Wonwoo's favourite one imprinted on his own as Seungkwan slaps Wonwoo's chest in disgust but doesn't stop kissing him for even a second. Wonwoo takes that as a massive win.

Then they hear camera shutters, and Wonwoo mentally does a fist pump. They definitely chose the right person to take their photos because he's going to have this as his lock screen forever.

Seungkwan takes his phone back and thanks the person before they walk home arm-in-arm, smitten and clumsy as they stick close to each other and kiss between steps and Seungkwan says they should stop that before they trip and fall flat on their faces. But he sneaks in pecks just as much as Wonwoo does, so Wonwoo murmurs against him with a smirk, "All bite and no bark, Boo," and almost gets kicked to the ground. Don't start a fight with someone who goes on early morning runs.

The next day, they order in room service for breakfast. Seungkwan feeds him bread and that's all Wonwoo needs to know that this is bliss. He's a simple guy. But then Seungkwan kisses crumbs off his lips and Wonwoo realises, wow. There's something better than bliss.

"I'm so glad you didn't confess right at the end of the trip, hyung," Seungkwan says dreamily, moving the room service tray off of Wonwoo's lap and immediately replacing it with himself. "Now we can be a proper couple in Paris, we can take so many cute couple photos and go on romantic strolls and kiss at all the pretty places and make everyone else jealous-"

Seungkwan yelps when Wonwoo suddenly tips him over so that he's on his back, staring up at Wonwoo hovering over him. "...hyung, what the hell?"

"Seungkwannie. You know how you said that sometimes I can take advantage of how much you love me?" Wonwoo asks quietly as Seungkwan looks a little dizzy but still nods. "We've got three days left. Can I just spend one of them loving you in this room? Quiet and just us? Then we can go and be the best couple on the streets and take all the pretty photos, whatever you want."

They've gone to a lot of places already, and Wonwoo just wants to be with Seungkwan for a while. Wants to do nothing but hold him close, cherish him, solidify in his mind that this is all real. They confessed in front of the Eiffel Tower, so Wonwoo thinks he needs to process it in a small bubble of just the two of them.

He knows he brought them all this way but Paris isn't going to go anywhere in a day.

Seungkwan smiles dearly at him, resting a hand on Wonwoo's cheek. "That really sounds like you. I'm sorry, hyungie, have I been tiring you out?"

Wonwoo shakes his head, dipping down to kiss Seungkwan's shoulder. "Just want some downtime with you."

"Then come here."

They roll up in the covers and Seungkwan's skin is so warm under Wonwoo's fingers as he presses them flat against his back, pulls him closer until their bodies align perfectly and Wonwoo can feel his racing heartbeat, feels giddy knowing that he makes Seungkwan's heart race. Wonwoo kisses him languid and lazy like they have all the time in the world and Wonwoo's going to spend all of it adoring Seungkwan, and Seungkwan melts by the second, slowly letting himself go.

Wonwoo asks Seungkwan to sing to him and Seungkwan complains bashfully but still does it, sweet and melodious near his ear, and Wonwoo feels his heartbeat slowing down.

"I'm your number one fan," Wonwoo mutters drowsily. "Don't forget me when...you're famous..."

Seungkwan grins. "How could I? You're the guy with the super low voice who cheers so loud at all my gigs that everyone stares at you."

Wonwoo smiles smugly. He likes the thought of having that reputation.

"I'll get you backstage next time, hyung. You can give me a good luck kiss."

"I'll give you so many."

"How many?"

Wonwoo has to think about that for a while. "As many as you want...then more."

Seungkwan bursts into giggles, resting his head on Wonwoo's chest. "Then I think I'm set for life."
