Not Even A Word

Summary:

“Papa, do you love Mama?” She asked, six years old and curious about her parents´ love.

“Caitlyn, us Ionians can fall in love in so many, different ways. We are a people that loves with all we have. I love your Mama, but it was difficult four us at first to be together. My love was stubborn, and we persevered many obstacles and have a happy life.”

“How can Ionians love Papa?”

“There´s traditional love, like your Mama and Papa. And then my love, you have homeborn love.”

“Homeborn?”

“Yes my child. It´s the purest form of love. It is said that the moment you lay eyes on someone, your entire self, body and mind, recognize that someone as your home. The person you want to be with for all your life. The person you return to no matter what.”

“I want to find my homeborn love Papa!”

Work Text:

Caitlyn was surprised when her parents first told her. She knew it was fated to happen; her mother had been absent from home for the last eight months. They should have done it together initially, but her parents were kind enough to let her finish her school year, and her first preparatory year. Now she is packed, stepping into the backseat of the taxi as the house seems to say goodbye to her. Apparently, her new life will not have those comfy wind breezes during summer in which she sat and enjoyed a tranquil day of gaming. The magnificent library she had gotten used to, where she sat balled up on her couch and enjoyed a book. Her room, with such a nice lightning and color on it that it felt perfect for her, making her calm and even concentrate for her long sessions of study. Her friends…well, her only friend. Apparently, her only friend would not be with her anymore. They didn´t end in the highest note, Irelia thinking that she was happy to leave after what Caitlyn did, yet Caitlyn had tried with all her might to right whatever wrong and somehow, she mended the friendship enough for them to continue talking through texts. Well…it had been her fault or at least that was what the tall girl kept telling herself. Now it wasn´t time to focus on that though.

Now Caitlyn Kiramman was leaving Ionia, returning to Piltover after fifteen years.

When Caitlyn was four, her mother Cassandra, former councilwoman of Piltover, had fallen gravely ill and the Kirammans had to move to Ionia for her medical treatment, which was made easier to access thanks to both, their overwhelming wealth, and her father´s renown in the medical field. It happened so suddenly and when Caitlyn had been so young, that she couldn´t grieve any loss from leaving the Nation of Progress. She did remember being mocked for her accent at times, a mixture of Piltovian elite training and Ionian heritage.

Now, after the plane has finally started its flight, she sinks into herself and sighs. Ionia was home. It was her family, Irelia, and the simple fact that it was a place that took her in and comforted her with a warm hug. Yes, Caitlyn didn´t have more than one friend, yet the people were kind and gentle. Warm. They treated you with respect and always offered a smile. Piltover, or what little she could remember from it, was cold, divided, and rude. She remembers the situation of the biggest cities back there, Piltover and Zaun. It saddened her, knowing that she was being thrown into an environment in which an entire city would hate her just for her socioeconomic background. Caitlyn didn´t care about any of that, she just wanted to be back home. Back on her couch, with her books and her games and her life.

She had cried when her mother told her. Cassandra had been free from her disease for a year and a half when she was contacted by Piltover authorities. Apparently, they asked her if she would be able to return to her councilor seat. After what Caitlyn could only describe as the longest week of her life, her parents and her had sat down and talked about the situation. Despite her protests, fervent and loud about the situation, she was outnumbered. Tobias had been by Cassandra´s side almost instantly, yet he tried to remain neutral for Caitlyn´s sake and to hear his daughter out. Sadly, Caitlyn couldn´t convince him. The man knew how much Cassandra missed Piltover, how much she missed her work and, after fighting the disease for so long, he decided that his wife deserved it. Caitlyn had run to her room and shut herself in, crying herself to sleep. Her mother´s caress on her hair woke her up and, after a calmer and more open dialogue between the two women, Caitlyn understood her mother´s need to go back. That didn´t mean she would have to like it. Cassandra left two weeks after that, preparing herself to assume the role and relearn much about the nation. Caitlyn now had the impending passing of time looming above her head and growing thinner and thinner each passing day.

The plane landed, taking Caitlyn out of her fragile sleep as she stared out of the window. The city had grown bigger, cleaner, whiter. Sterling and golden accents framed the buildings and paths. It was pompous and ostentatious. It felt wrong. Compared to Ionia´s warmth, here she felt cold. Heavy. The manse was even worse. The gates had their family symbol on them, screaming to the world ‘We are the Kirammans. We are better.’ Caitlyn wanted to puke. Maids and butlers came in masses, taking cases, bags and boxes to the house. Caitlyn didn´t even need to lift a finger. That sickened her. She felt useless, her hands antsy to have something to do. To help. At every offer, she was turned down politely each time. ‘It´s fine Miss Kiramman.’ ‘Don´t worry yourself miss.’ ‘Do not fret, Lady Kiramman.’ Each name is worse than the last. She´s Caitlyn. Her name is Caitlyn, not Miss nor Lady nor Kiramman.

Her mother walked down the stairs, and Caitlyn dawned one of her first real smiles of the day. She moved rather quickly and gave her mother a hug. Cassandra´s warmth resembled that of Ionia. Tobias´ too, but eight months without her mother had made Caitlyn starting to miss this specific warmth. When her mother kissed her cheek and spoke in Ionian, Caitlyn couldn´t hold it in anymore. The first sob was the only one she allowed to be heard, pressing herself closer to her mother and planting her face on the crook of her neck. They spend some minutes like that, Caitlyn feeling her mother pat her back as a sign for her to move back. Her hands feel soft on her cheeks as Cassandra wipes tears away. Caitlyn eyes her mother, who smiles at her with sympathy and love, her words bringing the last of Caitlyn´s mind to the moment, grounding her to her new reality.

“Thank you, Caitlyn. I know how hard this must be, but you have no idea how much it means to me that you are here.”

“There´s nothing to thank, mother. I´m glad to be with you and father.”

“You are such a kind soul, daughter.” Cassandra sighed, taking Caitlyn´s hands on her own. “I must apologize yet once again.”

“Mother-“

“No, I don´t…well yes I do apologize about everything that has upset you Caitlyn. But, sadly, I couldn´t change the mind of a couple of people who wanted to meet you.”

“Right now?”

“I know sweetheart. I know. They only had time to be here today. As you know, the Academy´s courses start next week and they wanted to meet you beforehand.”

“It´s okay mother.”

“You are a sun Caity. Come on, your father must have entertained them enough already, or he might be having a hard time even starting a conversation.”

“Always a wager with him.” Caitlyn chuckles, knowing how hard it is for her father to start a conversation on his own. They entered the manse and Caitlyn gasped lightly. It was colossal, filled with riches and commodities as she walked side by side with her mother. She couldn´t continue her baffled observation, seeing as they were closing into their visitors, their voices already being discernable by the eighteen-year-old. There was something as clear as day for her though. There was no warmth. This was not home. She returned her eyes to her front and caught the couple of people that stood as the two Kiramman women entered the room. The woman was beautiful yet adorned with so much regalia and ornaments that bordered on the ridicule and arrogant. The man, simplicity in his attire that even so managed to emanate a wealthy aura, was a towering figure even taller than her. They smiled, corporate pleasantries all to known to Caitlyn, as Cassandra started introducing them.

“Catilyn, these are Jayce Talis and Mel Medarda. Mel is part of the Piltover´s council and oversees the education sectors of Piltover. Jayce is Piltover Academy of Progress´ vice principal.”

“Pleasure to make your acquaintance.” She bows, then shoots a practiced smile at the pair.

“The pleasure is ours Caitlyn. We wanted to welcome the daughter of the renowned Cassandra Kiramman back into Piltover.” Mel said with a smile.

“It was actually Mel who asked for your mother Caitlyn.” Tobias said, appearing to bring the topic as a way for Caitlyn to be grateful to her for bringing them back to Piltover. The Kirammans knew, that Caitlyn now had a proper person to put the load of this situation on, taking most of it from her parents´ shoulders.

“Is that so? Thanks for granting this opportunity to my mother once more.” Caitlyn turned to Cassandra who chuckled and shook her head lightly, only noticeable by her daughter.

“It was a pleasure. Having someone as experimented and efficient as Cassandra back at the council is an honor to us all. Mostly now that the situation with Zaun seems to have reached its lowest point of conflict, she will be a valuable asset to assist with the process that will help both cities start their healing.”

“I see.” Caitlyn nodded slightly, turning her eyes to Jayce.

“You probably don´t remember me, you left to Ionia when you were young.” Caitlyn turned her neck slightly and, somehow, a tinge of a smirk was on her face as she connected some dots with the face that was in front of her.

“I used to eat the sandwiches you left aside while working.”

“You do remember! Yeah, I´d turned around for a second, then suddenly my sandwich was gone.” Caitlyn chuckled lightly, the memory somehow fond as she moved to take a seat by her father´s side, Cassandra taking her place at the main seat. “As you know, the Academy´s courses start next Monday, so I wanted to assure you that we will do everything in our power for you to have a pleasant time and the best education.”

“Please, it´s not necessary. I will be just another student at the Academy.”

“What a humble one she is.” Mel says with a smile. “As much as that is true, you are not just another student Caitlyn. You are a Kiramman, after all.”

Caitlyn manifests all her energy to not sigh after that comment. Though she succeeds, that´s the moment where she officially dissociates from the conversation. She starts daydreaming about this place. This is practically a mansion, so there must be some rooms that might resemble the feel of that summer breeze. There must be a library, even bigger than the one back home, but it probably would be darker, colder, holding many books that only work to adorn the bookcases for them to look on par with their status. Her new room is probably a monstrosity in size and ornamentation. It´s a councilor daughter´s room after all. The time passes by, the result of the flight and the conversation are beginning to take a toll on Caitlyn, who can barely say her goodbyes properly as the door is closed. Her sigh is so strong and long that her parents start laughing, contagious sounds that reverberate now in her own chest as she starts laughing for the first time in what feels like weeks. Her father guides her to her room, where her fears are confirmed to be true. The room was twice the size of her room back home, and twice as tall too. His father smiles at her with understanding, moving to seat by the bed and patting his side. Caitlyn huffs as she sits, of course the bed feels like a marshmallow.

“It´s a lot, isn´t it?” She turns to her father, who is eyeing the entirety of her room.

“…it´s cold. Arrogance clings from each nook and cranny. I feel sullied father, by the weight of a name that bears more sin that I can carry, and favors that do not bode well for my near future.”

“Caitlyn, you have to understand, had your mother not fallen ill, this would´ve always been your life.”

“…then I´m glad she did.”

“Pardon?” Had he been an animal, his hackles would´ve been raised at this moment, his form prone and ready to attack with rage. She hustles, the need to have him understand urgent in her tone.

“Do not misunderstand me, father. Never in my life do I want to see my mother suffer through so much pain ever again. Nor you to go through any of that as well. What I meant…is that it took us to Ionia.” Here, Caitlyn shot a teary-eyed glance at her father as she started speaking in Ionian. “That took us to our home. Right now, I am not at home. I am happy for mother, and for you. I am happy to be with the two of you. But I miss my home. I miss Ionia father, and I am having a difficult time accepting that I am not home anymore. I am having an even more difficult time trying to grasp the depth of this wealth and prestige. The way we live, all that has happened between the cities in this nation…I don´t know how all of this will affect my life, both at school and out of it. I understand the situation father…but please understand that my heart aches for my home.”

“…come here, my daughter.” Caitlyn cried once more, now shouldered by her father´s presence. Once he left, the girl laid on the bed and closed her eyes. The days came and went, the thrill she should feel about exploring the vast mansion, going out and rediscovering her birthplace not appearing once as she spends the time reading, gaming, and sleeping. Her mother notices this and has tried to brighten her daughter´s spirit during joint meals and passing moments, yet she has been swamped by council duties. Her father did not escape the claws of occupations, as he was in talks with a couple of hospitals to become part of their diagnostics team. And then it´s Monday…

“You look beautiful Caitlyn.” Her mother says as she comes down. She´s wearing a simple light fuchsia sundress, with dark grey flats and her hair completely combed down. She smiles at her mother, taking her place on the table and starting her breakfast. It´s a simple affair, tranquil enough that it allows her to think about the day. First day at a new school in what, for her, is a new country. She sighs when she steps out of the house. Of course, she´s a Kiramman in Piltover now. She steps into the luxurious car after hugging her mother and her father.

Ridiculous. She descends from the car, thanking the driver profusely, after just five minutes. She could´ve walked. Hell, she could´ve rode a bicycle. What´s even worse? She´s welcomed by none other than Jayce Talis himself, who shoots her a smile.

“Welcome to Piltover´s Academy of Progress.”

“Is this really necessary Jayce? I know where my classroom is.”

“It is! Come on Caitlyn, classes start soon.” She sighed and moved by the gigantic man´s side. She grasps her backpack tighter to her shoulders. There´s stares, mumbles, whispers. She supposes it makes sense, when you are so obviously being escorted by the vice principal, something must be important about you. The bell rings and she suddenly finds herself standing in front of her class, staring at the gaping faces that were focused on her after Jayce´s words.

“This is Caitlyn Kiramman. Please make sure that she feels welcomed here with us. Now, go take your seat Caitlyn.” She did, rather unamused by the situation. She couldn´t even introduce herself, they took away even that. With a huff she takes her spot, turning to her right she sees a girl with phosphorescent green hair, her eyes focused on the big boy with goggles on his head, who was showing her something on his phone, their hands held as smiles were shared with one another. Caitlyn sighs, thinking back to Irelia and how things had ended. She wanted to lay all the blame on the situation, on how moving away and Irelia´s words had been the reason the two drifted apart. She told herself that lie so much. But it had been her mistake. Kissing Irelia at that party was a mistake. She misread everything. Every soft glance, every lasting hug, every subtle touch. EVERYTHING. Her friend had backed away so fast and hard that she practically leaped out of her life in one movement. How did Caitlyn managed to repair their bond even in such a small capacity was a miracle. It was not even close to their first month as friends, but Caitlyn at least didn´t lose her only friend completely. The first three periods passed by rather quickly and she had wanted to go to the main dining area for her first recess, until Jayce had intercepted her once more.

“Jayce, shouldn´t I be with the rest of the students?”

“You´ll have time tomorrow. Principal Heimerdinger and Professor Viktor want to meet with you. I might have painted you in a great light already so let´s not keep them waiting.” Caitlyn let out a chuckle and shook her head, about to turn and follow him when she stopped. There was the boy from her class, currently kissing the green-haired girl from earlier. They were huddled up in a group. There was another boy, quite lanky with hair that resembled an old cartoon she used to watch inconsistently. A girl with long and well-groomed blue braids, holding hands with a boy with white dreadlocks, their fingers intertwined and their arms swinging lightly. She spotted the top of a head, a spiked headband on it contrasting with its red-pinkish tone. Before she could see more, Jayce pulled her shoulder slightly, forcing her to turn and continue her way, missing the way a couple of gray orbs had settled on her.

It was a tad uncomfortable, spending her first recess in this school accompanied by the principal and the head of the biology department. Yet she remained smiling politely. Caitlyn knew it would be convenient, to a certain extent, to have good relations with some of the school´s authority figures, despite her last name doing pretty much all the job.  The bell rang, signaling her freedom from the myriad of questions and discussions that had originated from the trio of scientists that were hounding her like vicious dogs, yet their focus clearly academic and institutional. Really, who in their sane mind would go around asking about the scientific approach into adapting to Ionia´s weather? She was four when she got there, she didn´t remember any specific detail her body went through to acclimate itself to the new country. Her home. With a sigh Caitlyn sat down once more, her eyes focused on the blackboard as the newest class started. Once again, as it appeared to be the norm during her first day, classes passed by quickly, and she found herself on a tiny corner during her second recess. Trying with all her might to avoid Jayce from pestering her once more during the day. She succeeded, even if she had to made herself into a tiny ball at the corner, her eyes avoiding the figure of the vice principal that had entered the cafeteria with a searching gaze, clearly her being the victim of such a sight. A relieved sighed escaped her as he left, letting her enjoy her sandwich in peace. She stood and moved to her locker; five minutes left before her next class started. Five minutes more, then another class, and finally she could go to the manse. Not home, she remembered herself. Not home. No warmth anymore for Caitlyn Kira-

“Vi!”  Caitlyn stared as the blue braided girl was rushing towards her section. She was younger, probably second year of secondary, and the white dreadlocked boy was following her, his hand gripping hers as the two rushed. Caitlyn followed them with their gaze as they grew closer, rounded the big boy and the green haired girl with a smile and then stopped in front of-

Wow

She remembered having seen that spiked headband and that beautiful tone of hair, so red and yet it looked as if it was more an obscure shade of pink, shaven to one side with a black hue. Now she could see a white tank top with a broken heart in two colors that resembled her hair, with purple shoulder straps on each side. Caitlyn had to gulp when she saw the netting on that woman´s abdomen, which was heavily toned. She continued looking, strongly, as the shorts that had that same color palette as her hair, the tall boots with different stockings that fitted so good against those strong legs. Her arms were strong, toned, and sported armbands that matched the amazing headband. The smokey eyeliner made her gray eyes shine out so beautifully, the scar on her eyebrow giving her an extra edge. Her lipstick was subtle, yet complimented her plump lips in such an outstanding way, her scar making those lips so tantalizing for the Ionian who had to gulp once more. The tattoo below her eye spelled something, yet Caitlyn couldn´t figure what it was when those gray eyes settled on her.

She kept her eyes on the girl´s, studying the way she was now being looked at. At first the other girl simply clashed eyes with her, returning to the younger girl with blue braids who kept on talking. Caitlyn couldn´t move her eyes apart, not when the woman was smiling so sweetly, and her lips curled so beautifully. Something started traveling through Caitlyn when those gray eyes settled on her once more. This time the woman raised her eyebrows once, as if questioning Caitlyn´s stare, then returned to the blue braided girl. Caitlyn kept on looking, catching every time the woman threw her a flitting glance, nervous, coy, shy, frustrated, annoyed, and finally something seemed to crack when the woman raised a finger to the blue braided girl and turned fully to stare at Caitlyn.

“Hey, what are you staring at!?” Caitlyn didn´t move her eyes, nor was she scared at the tone. She felt something else, something different she was missing. “I asked you something.” The woman moved closer to Caitlyn, crossing from her locker to the tall girl´s one. She stood close, not enough to invade Caitlyn´s space, but enough to let her see her with more detail. Her tattoo said VI and Caitlyn couldn´t stop the tiny smile that came into her, the feeling inside her roaming her entire body now as the woman frowned slightly. “Hey, Cupcake, I am talking to you. What were you looking at huh?” She got even closer, her hand pushing Caitlyn´s locker closed, encompassing the taller woman to the wall, yet Caitlyn kept her tiny smile on her face. “Did I say something funny!? You kept staring at me for like three minutes straight, what the fuck is up with that?” Caitlyn knew what this felt like. The woman´s eyes went down to her lips twice, so quickly as if avoiding seeing them, yet Caitlyn caught her and started moving her hands slowly, the other woman not noticing as she got a bit closer. “What? Are you going to say anything at all?” Was the last thing the woman could say before it happened.

Caitlyn placed her hands on the woman´s face slowly, gently, stopping her rant immediately as she froze. The frown was no longer present on her face, which was perfect. She had a lovely face; it would be a shame if it got wrinkled with frowns. Caitlyn stroke her thumb gently over the tattoo, noticing the slight shivers coming from the woman, as well as the astonished looks from the woman´s friend group and how several people had stopped to look at them. She didn´t care, the feeling of this woman in her hands and so close to her was something she had craved since she knew she was moving from Ionia. With a small smile, Caitlyn bended forward and pressed her lips against the girl´s, who took a surprised breath at the action. And she was correct, this was it. The feeling she was craving for. The feeling she missed so fucking much. Home. It felt like home. She kissed the girl once, twice, three times, and then she started feeling the kiss being returned, tugging a smile from Caitlyn as she strengthened her hold on the girl´s face, whose hands had moved and were now on Caitlyn´s hips. They kept kissing, the action getting stronger by each second as the girl moved her hands to Caitlyn´s lower back, pressing Caitlyn closer to her. The movement made Caitlyn let out a low moan, her one hand moving to the back of the girl´s neck to position herself better, the kiss getting deeper and deeper. Caitlyn gasped slightly when she felt a tongue on her lower lips, before she moaned lightly and let her in, their tongues getting to know each other as the pair kept their exchange, now making out strongly on the school´s hallway. She noticed the lack of noise, probably having a big crowd around themselves thanks to putting on such a show, but she couldn´t care as she took a deep breath, plunging her tongue as deep as she could on the other girl´s mouth, who hummed and squeezed Caitlyn´s body. They felt glued to each other, pretty much no distance was separating them as they kept making out. Sadly, the school´s bell rang, signaling the end of the second recess. Caitlyn felt as the other girl broke the action first and she opened her eyes with excitement. The woman in front of her was breathing heavily, her face marred with a full on blush and her lips had lost almost all the lipstick´s color on them. Caitlyn kept rubbing her thumbs on the girl´s cheeks, and the girl´s eyes were on hers, so soft and tender and wanting. Caitlyn knew she had to go to class right this second, but breaking apart from this girl felt so wrong. The other girl seemed to be thinking the same as she took a deep breath and started to pick herself up from the moment.

“Wow. I…I uhm…fuck that was…I´m…I´ve got to…class and…” Caitlyn chuckled, seeing the way she had affected this girl making her smile widely, gray orbs widening as well and focusing on her mouth. “Shit your gap is so cute I…I uhm…” Caitlyn had mercy for the girl and, with one last stroke from her thumbs, bent down, placing a small kiss on her lips once more. Breaking apart, Caitlyn took a step back, passed her thumb over the side of her lips, and smiled at the girl. “Right…right uhm…class…bye.” The girl waved shyly, and Caitlyn returned the action with in a charming way, waving her fingers and turning around, moving to her class without looking back, knowing that the girl was still looking at her, even after she heard loud voices that talked to the girl ‘What the hell was that!?’ ‘Dude you almost fucked in the hallway!’ ‘The Piltie Princess and you? Damn’ Caitlyn was out of earshot, chuckling, after some more steps.

She sat down and sighed, a contented smile on her face as she felt the tingling sensation on her lips. Kissing that girl had felt like nothing ever before. She was soft to the touch, yet the strength of her body was so alluring to Caitlyn. She had such a tender gaze, her eyes carrying a heartfelt feeling that reached Caitlyn and wormed into her chest. For once, Caitlyn wanted this class to go on as fast as the others, so obviously it was the slowest, most boring class she had ever had in her entire life. She was giddy, excited, her leg bouncing without any restraint as her mind closed itself from anything and everyone. She didn´t even register the odd looks that the big boy and the green-haired girl had been shooting at her the whole class. The bell rang, the end of the first school day finally here, and she moved from her seat in a flash of blue hair and quick steps. She hoped to catch the beautiful, lovely girl, but she had wanted to go back to her parents and tell them about her. About the girl that had captured her heart in just a second. It was somehow a knowing circumstance in Ionia, something her father had told her about her home that resonated in her mind and her heart as she laid her eyes on that pretty, strong girl.

“Relax dear. Homeborn love is not common, so don´t close yourself to the idea of traditional love my child.”

“And if I had a homeborn love, do they feel the same towards me when they look at me?”

“It depends. They must be Ionian to notice homeborn love. If your homeborn love is not from Ionia, they won´t get the same inner workings as you do, but if you know who you homeborn love is, rest assured that you will be by that person´s side.”

She was moving towards the exit and, once the door opened, she turned to her right. There she was, the girl was standing there, resting against a wall, and fidgeting with her fingers. Caitlyn´s insides felt warm and cozy, staring at the image of her homeborn love looking nervous. Once those gray orbs settled on Caitlyn once more, the girl seemed to brighten up. She picked her backpack, placing it on her shoulders, and moved to Caitlyn, who started smiling wider and wider at the woman. She finally was in front of her and, with a small chuckle, she started talking.

“So, I uhm…I wanted to talk. About uhm…earlier today.” Caitlyn simply nodded, her smile never fading as she stared at the girl. “Okay. I…I am not going to lie…that was the best kiss I´ve ever had in my life. It just felt…so right and…I don´t know. You kissed me and you have said not even a word-HMF!?”

Caitlyn could resist it any longer. She moved forward, taking the girl´s lips into hers as her arms circled the smaller woman´s waist, letting the girl grab Caitlyn´s neck this time and pull her closer as she hummed. The pair kissed strongly, yet made the interaction last way less than before as Caitlyn broke the kiss with a pop. The two were breathing strongly and Caitlyn placed her forehead against the girl´s and opened her eyes, looking directly to the girl´s gray orbs and smiled.

“I´m Caitlyn.” The girl chuckled loudly and placed a peck on Caitlyn, making her smile even wider.

“I´m Vi.”

“Nice to meet you Vi.” Caitlyn pecked her back and turned her eyes towards the car she already knew was waiting for her. She returned her eyes to Vi, who had a pleased smile on her face.

“Nice to meet you Caitlyn.”

“I was thinking, maybe you´d like to hang out tomorrow and I´ll explain things to you?”

“Sounds great Cupcake.”

“Cupcake?” Now Vi was the one that kissed Caitlyn, who hummed with the action, which sadly for her ended shortly after it started.

“Because you´re so sweet.” Caitlyn laughed loudly, playing with Vi´s hairs on the back of her neck. She delved back in, kissing Vi strongly for a second before letting go and smiling at her homeborn love.

“Well Vi…I´ll see you tomorrow.”

Notes:

Hi there!
I hope you guys enjoyed this one shot! I originally wanted to make something silly with the idea "Hey what if Caitlyn kissed Vi the second she laid eyes on her" and ended up with a look upon Caitlyn´s homesickness and solitude. Anyhow, I like how it came up and hey, I even came up with the homeborn love concept, so I hope you enjoyed that too!
I hadn´t wrote about Vi and Caitlyn in a long while and I am so glad I came back to write for them! I shouldn´t though, I´ve got two other fics waiting for me to come back to them hehe, but god I had missed them so much, writing for them is so pretty and I feel so giddy doing it. I love them aaaaaaaa.

I hope you guys liked this and I´ll see you all soon!
