The Hogwarts grounds were covered in a thick fog as Regulus made his way to the Quidditch stands, his steps slow and deliberate, each one accompanied by a dull ache in his abdomen. Despite his cramps, the biting chill and relentless downpour, Regulus was determined to support his boyfriend, James Potter, in his Quidditch match against Ravenclaw.
Regulus couldn’t help but shiver, his thin jumper offering little protection against the icy wind. He wrapped his arms around himself, trying to ward off the cold, but it was no use. The chill seemed to seep straight through to his bones, leaving him feeling even more drained and achy.
Perched in the stands, Regulus watched with bated breath as James soared through the air on his broomstick, his Gryffindor robes billowing behind him. Despite the miserable weather, James looked radiant, his hair slicked back from the rain, his eyes shining with determination.
Regulus couldn’t help but smile as he watched James dart and weave through the air, his heart swelling with pride at the sight of his boyfriend in his element. Despite the discomfort of his cramps and the relentless cold, Regulus felt a surge of warmth and affection for James, a fierce determination to support him no matter what.
And when Gryffindor emerged victorious, the cheers of the crowd echoing in his ears, Regulus felt a sense of elation wash over him. He made his way down to the pitch to congratulate James, his heart pounding with excitement as caught sight if his boyfriend making his way towards him, a triumphant grin lighting up his face.
“Reg!” James bellows, pulling him into a tight embrace. “I can’t believe you came out in this weather to watch me play. You’re amazing.”
“Me? Amazing?” Regulus exclaims. “James I just sat there and watched. You! You were amazing!”
Regulus smiled, the warmth of James’ arms wrapping around him like a blanket, chasing away the chill of the rain. “Of course I came, I wouldn’t miss it for the world” Regulus whispered into James’ ears.
Regulus waits for James in the change rooms while James has a shower. Afterwards, James lead Regulus back to his dorm room, eager to escape the cold, dampness of the outside world.
James was still warm from his shower and fresh clothes, he pulled Regulus close. Regulus couldn’t help but shiver as James’ warm hands pressed against his cold stomach, the gentle pressure easing the ache of his cramps.
But even as he basked in the warmth of James’ touch, a familiar sense of insecurity crept over him.
“Hey,” James murmured, sensing a shift in Regulus’ mood. “You okay?”
Regulus nodded, his throat tight with emotion. “Just feeling a bit bloated, that’s all.”
James’ expression softened with understanding as he guided Regulus over to his bed. He wrapped his arms around him, holding him close as they lay down in silence, the steady rhythm of their breathing the only sound in the room.
“I just wanted to say,” James said softly, breaking the silence. “Thank you for coming out to watch me play, even when you’re not feeling your best. It means more to me than you’ll ever know.”
Regulus felt a lump form in his throat at James’ words, a surge of love and gratitude welling up inside him. He leaned to press a soft kiss to James’ lips, his heart overflowing with emotion as he wrapped his arms around him, pulling him close.
And as James’ hands began to wander lower, Regulus felt a surge of desire igniting deep within him. But just as things started to head up, a nagging voice in the back of his mind reminded him of his current state.
“James” he murmured, pulling back slightly. “You know I’m… on my period.”
“Reg” James says as he smiles at him, his eyes shining with affection. “You know I don't care.”
Regulus tries to retort. "We might…. make a mess"
James’ eyes sparkled with mischief as he leaned in to press a kiss to Regulus’ neck. “I’ve got an idea,” he breathed out, huskily. “Why don’t we take a shower? That way you can warm up and I can make you feel better.”
Regulus felt a shiver run down his spine at the suggestion, his pulse quickening with excitement. Without another word, he allowed James to lead him into the bathroom, the warm steam enveloping them as they stepped beneath the spray of the shower.
James stands behind Regulus placing soft kisses on his neck. Regulus lets out a breath of tension when James starts softly massaging his shoulders slowly moving down his body.
When Regulus seemed more relaxed, James dropped to his knees before his boyfriend; his lips trailing kisses along the sensitive skin of his thighs.
Regulus felt himself melting under his touch, every caress and kiss sending waves of pleasure coursing through his veins. And when James brought him to the brink of ecstasy, Regulus cried out in release, his body trembling with the force of his climax.
Afterwards, as they lay in the warmth of James’ bed, entwined in each others arms, James held Regulus close, whispering words of love and affection into his ear.
“I love you,” James whispered, his voice hoarse with emotion. “More than anything in this world.”
Regulus felt tears prickling at the corners of his eyes as he snuggled closer to James, his heart overflowing with love and gratitude. “I love you too.” He murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
As the night wore on, Regulus found himself growing increasingly exhausted, his energy sapped by the relentless pain of his cramps. He knew there was a victory party for Gryffindor happening in the common room, but the thought of socialising was too much to bear right now.
“I think I’m just gonna stay in tonight,” he said softly, turning to look up at James. “But you should go to your victory party, you being the star player and all.”
James smiled understandingly, brushing a stray lock of hair away from Regulus’ face. “That’s okay,” he said gently. “And I’m obviously going to stay with you, there’s no where I’d rather be.”
And so they spent the evening curled up together in James’ bed, wrapped in each other’s arms as they drifted off to sleep, safe in the knowledge they had each other, come rain or shine.
