"Alright. I understand. Let's schedule the interview for today."
Aventurine gets up sleepily after hanging up. Can’t believe his previous holiday got interrupted like that. He walks into the bathroom knowing his lover is in bathtub.
“ Why are you waking up this early? Not that I mind. After all, waking up early is good “
The moment Aventurine steps into the bathroom, the man who is reading a book in the bathtub started to speaks. Aventurine walks near to him and kiss on his cheeks.
“ well, good morning to you too, Doc ”
Ratio looks up from his book. Aventurine leans back so he can get full face of his lover. The wet hair sticking to his lover’s face definitely did make his lover hotter.
“ But seriously why are you up early? You also don’t sleep early last night, dear ”
Seeing Ratio's frown, Aventurine knows his boyfriend hate when he doesn’t sleep full 8 hours. so, he speaks out the truth.
" it’s just they called me for interview suddenly "
With that, Ratio frowned. He doesn’t like interviews at all. Asking infuriating questions like always.
“ interview? For what exactly? “
Aventurine shrugged at that. He would have asked that question if he wasn’t too sleepy.
“ don’t know, doc. But they want me to be there today”
“ So you are telling me they call you in last minute? ”
Not good..Aventurine knows Ratio hates when it comes to last minute meetings. He thinks that it’s is an disruption to the schedule.
“ well I still got the whole morning. Free”
Aventurine winks at him which he got not so amused face from his lover and a sigh.
“ good luck on your interview then. Don’t answer if is not necessary ”
Aventurine chuckled at that. He remembers the time he read Infamous Dr.ratio Q&A on the magazine. The answers were so bizarre and he wondered if the interviewer runs away or not.
“ like your answers on one interview ”
“ it was so stupid. Who write those questions? I bet it’s idiots ”
“ well if I remember you said dating is stupid~”
“ no I said it is not worth of time. Also because they want to know my private life. *hmph* but dating you is not stupid. Actually, it’s worth of time ”
When his lover said those words by looking straight at him, Aventurine feels his face is getting hot.
“ Doc, you are really quite bold lately ”
*if I don’t, you won’t get my messages anyway* thinks Dr.ratio but he doesn’t reply to Aventurine. Aventurine notices this and changed the conversation.
“ well I need to take a bath too! Hurry up, Veritas! ”
Ratio looks at his boyfriend who is in pyjamas. Also with the shirt which only has one button on and totally not being sexy. He put his book away.
“ take with me ”
“ huh? ”
Bewildered, aventurine looks at the man in the tub. He notices Ratio changed gradually throughout their relationship. *Not the jabs and bickering, it’s their nom.* But he becomes more straightforward in romantic way. And Aventurine got caught off everytime since he is not used to it.
Even now, looking at his lover, Aventurine can feel his neck slowly becomes hot and maybe red.
“ what? This is not the first time we took bath together. And this bathtub is big ”
“ but it does cramp, doc ”
“ then you can sit between my legs ”
“ I- ”
Aventurine doesn’t even get to finish and got pulled into the tub. When he got wet from head to toe, he glare at ratio.
“ there goes my Pyjamas. You should give me some time! ”
Now wet from head to toe, Aventurine slaps the chest-a big burst one- while still glaring at him.Ratio smiles and brings aventurine’s hand which slapped at him to his lips and kiss them.
“ they are gonna wet sooner or later anyway, dear gambler”
Aventurine ignores the butterflies in his stomach- happens due to Ratio’s smile- and shakes his head.
“ I can’t win against you sometimes ”
“ only sometimes? ” Ratio smiles at him and he knows the meaning.
“ but you always know I win the bet, Doctor ”
“ well this isn’t a bet but a banter between us, dear ”
Aventurine send one last glare, he knows he has a soft spot for this man. *dammit*
“ hmph…that’s true ”
Ratio doesn’t say anything but started to take off his boyfriend’s shirt.
“ wha-what are you doing!? ”
Aventurine yelped at the hands taking off his top.
“ taking your wet pyjamas off ”
“ I can do it myself, doctor ”
The ten stones member grabs the hands which was taking off the shirt and tried to stop them. The genius look at him and said,
“ dear, you complain to me saying I am the one who make you wet so I have to take responsibility ”
“ please don’t say that way ever again "
Ratio doesn’t listen and continue taking off so Aventurine just gives up.
After all clothes are thrown away ( to the floor), Aventurine changes his position so he can sit with his back to the chest of the man behind.
“ I really don’t want to interview now ”
With that said, Aventurine felt the kiss against his temple.
“ I know, dear. I know ”
Then, they spent another maybe an hour in bathtub. Just Ratio reading his book and Aventurine speaking time to time knowing his boyfriend listening.
When the times comes, Veritas goes to interview together with his boyfriend saying he wants to know if the questions are still idiotic or not.
