The stage was set for the grand follow up to Trucy in Gramaryeland…quite literally, as prop towers and a great big plywood castle were erected just backstage.
‘Trucy Wright and the De Famme Twins present Miracle! The Sleeping Princess and the Sorceress of Gramarye’
Naturally, Trucy was the sorceress of Gramarye, that much was obvious. There was a bit of talk about the Princess between the twins, before Trucy swung the results towards the flushed Bonny De Famme.
Opening night was coming soon, the outfits sewn and the set filled with the quirks and tricks necessary for a grand spectacle of magic…and Trucy had tracked down Bonny in the dressing room.
She was dressed in the frilled, purple and white dress they’d all worked on together…her upturned nose buried in the script for what Trucy knew was probably the hundredth time. Trucy couldn’t stop herself from thinking just how adorable she was…from the bouncy curls of her hair to the way she tapped her foot restlessly against the leg of the chair.
“Ready for the show, Bonny?” she cooed, causing Bonny to jolt upright in surprise with an adorable squeak.
“I’m still memorizing my lines. I have the magic acts down, it’s just the dialogue..” she mused with a tap to her lips, watching Trucy with those sleepy eyes of hers.
“”The dialogue is important…” Trucy nodded sagely, skipping a little closer to sit herself practically on her lap “but you know what the real show stopper is?”
Bonny leaned up with that languid, rabbit like smile of hers “the vanishing act?”
“Clooose…” Trucy shifted on her lap until they were nearly nose to nose.
“True love’s kiss to wake the sleepy beauty~” with a puckish laugh, she caught Bonny in an affectionate, loving kiss.
“The greatest magic of all.”
