You enter your boyfriend—Tuonto’s—room, a tea set in hand that contains a teapot, some teacups, sugar cubes, and tater tots.
“Yo Tuonto, I made sum tea.”
“I wanna go to space.”
Silence suddenly befalls the room…
“Erhmm, whaddya mean Tuonto? My love? My darling sweet man? My sexy fella?” You inquire.
“You heard me babe, I wanna go to space,” Tuonto repeats.
“Okayyy…but why tho 😐”
“Because…I just think it would be cool to fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars. Maybe seeing what spring is like on a Jupiter and Mars perhaps.” Tuonto says in Ohio standard language.
“Well…maybe we can, but we don’t have to go to the moon to do that babe…” you say, placing your hand upon his.
“B-but, outer space would be so cool, for both of us…right?” Tuonto says cutely.
He’s giving you that precious look of his, like a fish when seeing a dangerous creature about to eat him.
You can’t stand that stupidly adorable gander of his, it drives you up the walls every time! LITERALLY!!
“Babe, please get off the walls.”
“Sorry dear…” you say, apologetically as you climb down the scratched up wallpaper.
Tuonto seats you on his lap, leaning against your shoulder hoping for some loving comfort.
“Do you think space travel will be mainstream enough someday for us to fly there?” Tuonto asks.
“Sure dear, I’m certain of it.” You give a quick little loving peck on his forehead, leaving a slight marking on it due to your lipstick.
You blush as the two of you huddle up together in silence, what a wonderful feeling…
