Ok, this chapter is a quick one, no editing, but I need to set some things straight, so:
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
*ONE: THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!! FOR THE ENTIRE GAME AND THE PHANTOM LIBERTY DLC!
*TWO: VIOLENCE, SEX (I mean.... it's cyberpunk)
*THREE: if you skipped V/Silverhand tag: this is a ROMANCE BETWEEN FEM V AND JOHNNY SILVERHAND, their relationship will progress LATER (V has some other stuff to take care of first, like... a lot of things. It's a slow build.)
*FOUR: this is not a short story! It's a slow progress, slow burn - please take that into your hearts.
*FIVE: Fem V that's potrayed in this story is from a corpo origin, a netrunner, with no history of romances from the plot of the game. The description of how V looks is something I avoid or I use vague adjectives in a way that could apply to any of your V's ... Unless your V is bald (If so, then please close your eyes when I mention hair lol).
*SIX(?): Chapters get longer as the plot progresses
*SEVEN: Johnny is stuck in his 2023 mentality - please keep that in mind (he needs time and a kick to his balls)
**PHANTOM LIBERTY** -> In this worldstate V helped So Mi get to the mooOOOON (but I don't think this will be touched on much in this part)
Ok, if you're thirsty to read the story you can go ahead now, but I need to add this:
Before you begin - I took a lot of information from diffrent resources to write this fic. I made a decision to cut out some of the stuff/content that would make it harder to write this story. Bear in mind some things won't check out 100% with the lore of Cyberpunk 2077.
I tried my best to make it work, but some changes had to be made. I'm not talking about how the butterfly effect would change things - that's obvious. I'm talking about motivations of some characters (especially when it comes to the Arasaka Family).
If I wanted to write a story that would completly line up with the inner motivations of characters... I would have to get inside CDPR HQ and... party like its 2023?
Listen, I may be from Poland but I'm not desperate enough to get to Warsaw and create a major heist on a corporation responsible for this masterpiece of a game just to have more insight into their characters mindset (well... now that i think about it, it does sound fun... anyway-).
If I were to make everything in the fic accordingly to the original plot... Well, this story would become a one million words fic, and I'm in the middle of writing my master thesis I actually managed to get a job (I'm tired boss).. so let me tell you, some stuff is avoided deribalitly.
It may not be perfect, but it's a fanfic. So happy reading!
