Scarlet (It'ellida): "So these are the mighty dragonets that are supposed to save Pyrrhia from war. Well, it seems mighty unfortunate to me that they'll have to meet their end soon, by my arena, of course. It's really such a shame. Or maybe a thrill."
Cloudburst (Daagajjdeh): "Your capital has fallen. Your people are tired of your rule. Your army has defected to your daughter. I believe we have come to a checkmate, my dearest enemy."

Splendor (Ixinvinak): "I would never let myself get kidnapped, especially not for something as frivolous as becoming a mameluke. But I suppose I could send a division to investigate it."
Dazzling (Noytaptan): "If you ask me, Noytaptan is much superior to Tzotzipan in terms of our horticulture and agriculture and whatever-culture. That no-good Fruit Bat just wants to brag about her perfumes and cosmetics, that's all."
Exquisite (Itzche'en): "The peasants always complain about me not doing enough to help the war effort. But I have to take care of my sloths, the historical knickknacks, the officers and officials, it's really quite exhausting. And on top of that, these stupid MudWings have decided to wage war on us! It's really not my fault."
Magnificent (Pitztepec): "It's a shame how MudWings keep besieging my city. I wish we could just have a game of ball, then kill the losers! Much easier than war."

Oasis (Numunuria): "I can handle three scavs. What's the worst that could happen?"
Burn (Numunuria): "First, I kill my sisters- and my niece. The order doesn't matter. Then I kill you, Vulture, and I'll talk to your dead, stuffed head about popular sovereignty and whatever nonsense you have up your ass."
Blister (Nuchiuurea): "You're just like your namesake. Nothing but a vulture, waiting until we're weak so you can swoop in with your perfect little government and your perfect little candidate. Luckily for you, I've accounted for this. Scald, bring me the Eye of Onyx."
Blaze (Zolpaya): "Oh, we could have a party, just like when we were all younger, and didn't have to worry about nonsense like the throne. We could have roasted monitors, camels, mammoths, even scavs! Mammoth used to be Burn's favorite. I think camels were Blister's, but I can't remember my brothers'. I-I really miss them, though."
Onyx (Numunuria): "Of course the Eye would choose me. I'm named after the animus-damned thing, after all."
