Moments From Aizawa Shouta's Various Arrests

Summary:

It’s not that Shouta, in his civilian life, purposefully set out to get arrested. It took a true idiot, he believed, to go out into the world with a desire and a need to get arrested. Now, some people liked to be handcuffed, but that had never been Shouta’s kink.

So, back to the point, he doesn’t go out into the world with a desire to get arrested. It just…happens from time to time.

When Aizawa Shouta is out in public, people still try to fuck around and find out.

It leads to him being arrested more than the Class 1-A kids will ever know.

More Fic Fight with something very silly!

This is for Splash's prompt "Arrested".

Work Text:

“It genuinely was only a matter of time before this happened,” Nemuri said, grinning like a mad woman. “Truly, I am impressed that it took this long.”

Shouta looked at Sansa, “Do I have to go with her?”

“Well, you can’t stay here, Eraser,” the detective said. “Tsukauchi is already getting a stress tick in his eyebrow.”

“And I had to dip into our bail fund, Shouchan!” Nemuri grinned wickedly. “First time for the year, we’re going to get boba.”

Shouta really fucking hated his life sometimes.

Listen, sometimes people fuck around and then they find out. And how they find out is usually Shouta.

Of course, Shouta also ended up finding out with arrests over the years.

Luckily, he and his friends have a bank account that may or may not have been set up by Nedzu marked Bail Fund.

You know, just in case.

Obviously, he tried to teach his students differently.

Shouta knew his own hypocrisy in this situation. Bakugou, honestly, was waiting for a moment to metaphorically explode. And he does not want a student to be arrested before they graduate.

He may not be able to do much, but he will try his best there.

“Worst comes to worst,” he drawled out. “Try not to get caught. If I have to lose sleep to paperwork, then I will not be happy.”

He valiantly ignored the shifty-eyed glances that Todoroki and Midoriya sent to a bright red Iida. He did not want to know what happened in Hosu.

Like, he knew what happened in Hosu, but also he did not want to know what happened in Hosu.

Hizashi slurped the dregs of his violently sugary Frappuccino.

Shouta stared back at him.

His friend smacked his lips and let out a satisfied sigh.

“Given that you were recently in the hospital,” the blonde said thoughtfully. “I’m going to take this arrest as a sign that you have fully healed.”

Shota flipped off Hizashi, who cackled.

“I can’t wait to see you being a crochety old bastard, sitting in a jail cell.”

“Maybe the day I start smacking people with a cane is the day I stop getting arrested for no reason.”

“For the love of God, Eraserhead,” Tsukauchi said tiredly “Stop trying to fight people off duty and then you won’t be arrested.”

Hizashi snorted as he tossed out his cup, “He’s got you there.”

“I’m amazed that you got hired as a teacher sometimes,” Sansa said at a crime scene.

“Truer words were never spoken,” Shouta replied. “Never mention our previous meetings near my hellions or else.”

“Yeah,” the detective drawled out. “I didn’t need to see much to know that this group would take it as a challenge to try to beat your record.”

Shouta rolled his eyes before going over to check on his kids, especially the Problem Child.

“I can’t believe they let you be a parent,” Shinsou drawled out, leaning against the bars of the jail cell. He was grinning from ear to ear.

“They really couldn’t have sent someone else?”

“Oh when Yamada called me, I begged for the job. This feels like such a vindication. Be glad I’m not recording this for the class group chat.”

“I hate you.”

Shinsou grinned ever wider, “No. You don’t. I distinctly remember it hearing otherwise after the War when you were drugged out of your mind in a hospital bed.”

“You should not hold that against me.”

“It’s not holding it against you, sensei. It’s basking in your praise and affection. Be glad that Yamada didn’t call Kurboro over this.”

“Is that the name he’s using today?” Shouta asked as he was let free from the holding cell. Oboro/Kurogiri had been trying to find a name that suited the new him. Which, hey, congrats on exploring your personhood, but it could change on a dime.

“Mmmhmm,” Shinsou nodded in his street clothes. “You wanna grab dinner? Midoriya said he was picking up Eri from her singing lesson? And maybe you can wash the stink of an arrest off of you.”

Shouta flipped off his former student, making him laugh harder.
