Chapter Text
she ran through the house scrambling to get out before her screaming father caught her, He was enraged that she would try and break into the locked fridge without his Permission. Leah managed to get out the door narrowly missing the empty whiskey bottle he tossed at her with an angry yell. Leah barely made it out before a few Shards from another bottle Smashed over her head, blood Slowly spilling from her head.
“You little Brat, get back here..!” he shouted, his voice slurred with how Intoxicated he was, but Leah kept running, her bare feet probably bleeding from how many sharp rocks she had been Running through. She took a Shortcut through the woods, to quickly lose her father in the chase to get to the Town Streets, possibly the busy Highway.
But the one thing that Leah hadn’t accounted for was a couple Trucks coming her way on the Highway, not having enough time to stop in their breaks the Truck slammed into her body first before hitting her father Slightly, who was flung across the Road into a Tree knocking him out almost Immediately. Leah was flung a few feet across the road, the man that had hit her Rushed out of his Truck towards her now bleeding body as he gently spoke out to her, “H—Hey.. kid, are you okay?”
Leah’s Vision was fading as she slowly began to pass out, only hearing one more thing from the man as her Vision Began to Fade. “Hold on, I called 911, Help’s On the way.”
Leah finally gave into the Darkness.

Dean was Paged Into the Emergency room for a Pediatric Case, as a Nurse Practitioner he was often called down when their wasn’t enough nurses staffing the ER or for any Pediatric Cases since that was the unit he Specialized in. When he got down to the trauma room what he saw hurt him to his core, a young Teenager who looked so Malnourished and Emaciated, blood Pouring from a lot of Severe wounds across her body.
“What’d we got?” Dean asked, immediately dropping into action, pulling gloves on and moving in between the doctors and Nurses crowding the room, almost groaning at the sight of an Intern being the Attending Doctor in this Case. “I—Um.. this is Leah Mason, Sixteen years old, a Truck hit her and her father when they ran into the Highway. Het father’s in the other room, in worse shape.” The Intern’s Voice was almost shaky and Nervous. Dean Focused on Leah, Rubbing her Sternum with his fist Harshly to try and wake her up.
“Leah, Can you hear me Honey?” he gently asked loudly and gently to ensure she could Hear him if she was able to regain Consciousness. Leah’s back arched Slightly at the sudden harsh Rubbing on her chest, Moaning Slightly as she did. Dean gently Pushed down on her shoulders, His soft voice speaking towards her again. “Easy, Sweetheart. Relax, your in a Hospital.” he soothed.
The Intern was frozen in Place, not moving or doing anything as Dean soothed Leah, who was Squirming around Despite His soothing Words. “Move Dammit!” Dean scolded the Intern who was just standing there, “Give her half a Milligram of Ativan, now.” He commanded. There was no way in hell dean was just gonna sit there and allow her to suffer in fear of Hospitals,Doctors, and Nurses just because some intern was freaking out over one patient. A Nurse went over to the medicine cabinet unlocking it to get the Clear, glass vial of Ativan along with a Ready Syringe, Dean focused on calming Leah down gently placing his hand on her Knee softly stroking over it. “Your okay, Sweetheart she’s just gonna give you a little something to make you nice and calm. That way we can treat you without harming you any further.” He soothed.
The Nurse injected the Ativan into her IV, the medicine left a tingling feeling in her right arm where the IV was placed, she eventually became more relaxed and Drowsy, in a Loopy state. Dean’s voice was heard as she slowly drifted into a light Sleep.
“Don’t worry, Sweetheart. You’re in good hands with Us.” Were the last words she heard before her eyes slipped shut and she fell asleep.
