It had been a bit since everything went down. The pair had just begun settling into their new life. At first, Logan didn’t adapt quickly - hasn’t had a home in who knows how long. Thankfully, Wade was there to help.
Logan, Laura, and Wade had been out all day. Getting some ‘daddy-daughter plus Wade’ time. Logan wasn’t too annoyed that Wade was there, it isn’t easy becoming a dad overnight. They arrived back at the apartment and Logan walked away for a moment.
“So you’re sure the X-men are gone-gone,” Wade asked Laura. Laura turned to Wade, “Yes. What are you doing Wade?” Wade turned away, animated like, to go do something to keep his hands busy. “I just have one last surprise for him,” Wade answers. Laura begins gathering her stuff, “Tell me about it later, I have to study,” Wade follows her, “About what??” he coos. “No es asunto tuyo,” she responds.
Laura closes the door leaving Wade and Mary Puppins.
Logan comes out of the bathroom to Wade spread out on the couch scrolling on his phone. “Where’d Laura go?” Logan asked. Wade lifts his head, “Oh! She left. She said she had to study,” Logan takes a seat on the couch as Wade continues, “-it's good she likes the school. From what she’s gone through, I think it’s the best for her.” Logan hummed in agreement. Wade sat up, “Guess what peanut,”
“Ya have a surprise for me.” Logan responds. Wade stopped for a second, “Uh yeah, well I’m glad I didn’t tell Laura what it was,” Logan looked over at him, “Did ya forget I have enhanced senses bub?”
“Wonder why he’d need to ask me why Laura left then”
“Ya sure there ain’t anything wrong with ya bub?” Wade chuckled, “That’s a very broad question peanut, of course there is,” Wade gets up and begins to pull Logan off the couch. “Okay peanut, time for your big surprise!” Logan grunts but lets Wade pull him up the couch.
“Where are ya takin’ me bub?” Logan grunts. “Don’t worry about that peanut. All we need to do is meet Dopinder,” Wade replies with a light-hearted tone.
“Dopind-” Logan was cut off by a car smashing on its brakes. “Dopinder!” Wade exclaims. Logan was briefly introduced to the man driving the car as they entered. Once they were finally in the car, “Hi Mr. Logan! Huge fan!” Dopinder quickly states. Wade buts in, “Remember Dopinder, no location drops babycakes!” “Of course Mr. Pool,” he responds.
The car finally parks close to the X-Mansion, “Wade ya know I don’t like being here,” Logan states. Wade turns to him, “Of course peanut, we’re not going in there. To be honest I’m not sure if I’m still allowed in there.” Logan gets out of the car, uneasy about seeing the school. “Here’s a crisp high five Dopinder!” Wade gives Dopinder his high five then follows Logan out.
“Start talkin’ bub what are we doing here,” Logan growls. “Calm down kitty-cat, look, this has something to do with the TVA,” Wade starts. “Buttt, the results will most likely be happy next to the school.” Logan was very confused as they continued to walk.
They arrived a bit behind the school but Logan was very zoned out.
“Well he’s going to be in for a surprise!”
“Logie-bear turn around!” That was the last thing Logan heard before his world changed again.
Feet away from Logan were Jean, Scott, and Ororo. His family. “..Wade. How.” Logan’s voice barely being able to make noise. “Quick explanation since you all are all in shock, basically, these are your x-men. Their universe is parallel or an exact copy to yours except you died and not them. You’re their Logan.”
“Also, in both those universes they all lived up to dofp, crazy”
All 4 X-men quickly ran up to each other. Jean, Scott, and Logan all gave each other a group hug. Once the hug broke Jean gave Logan a soft smile. “Slim,” Logan smiled. “Lo’” Scott smiled back. Logan’s eyes began to water, so did the other two. Then, Logan saw her.
Logan and Ororo quickly clung to each other. They gave each other a long, deep embrace. Their eyes met each other, like they wouldn’t be able to live without seeing each other. They couldn't. Logan closed the distance between them, nothing around them existed anymore.
“Wow, talk about dofp deleted scene”
Wade walks over to the 4, “Hey, right over there is the school. In this universe, all the main X-men are gone. I would offer you to stay at my place but Blind Al would kill me.” The 3 agreed to stay in the mansion, their universe was fucked up anyway. Wade turned to Logan, “Are you going with them peanut?” Logan sighed, “I’ll stay with you a bit longer bub, if that’s okay,” he answers. Wade obviously says it's fine.
They get the 3 X-men settled in, which took hours. After that, Wade and Logan began to head home. “Thanks, bub. It was nice seeing them and ‘Ro,” Logan said, breaking the silence. Wade smiled, “Of course Logan.”
