Chapter Text
Drista was going to be in big trouble with XD when she’s done. He had told the young goddess to keep from interfering with the mortals. Except she had gotten close to a teenage boy about her age. If anyone was at fault, it was XD himself for introducing the two. She only could see the boy sparingly, but each time she took note of how he appeared. How he acted. Especially this last time.
His happy exterior was no longer true, but a clear facade for anyone to see. She had blown up a creeper by accident and she watched as he crumbled. Did she break her human? Eventually he calmed but refused to explain what had happened. It didn’t take long before she noticed a white streak in his hair. She didn’t have to ask, having bothered her brother enough to know that one detail. Her human had been taken from the world, only to be forcibly yanked back.
After her last visit, she sat by, watching. Her human was treated horribly and now nobody cared. She grew quite furious when the teen's own father accused him of lying to get sympathy. He accused her human of faking his own death, saying how he was selfish. That was the moment she set her plan in motion. XD would know something was amiss when his own human would go missing.
With a flash, several humans fell into a white room with soft sofas and chairs strewn about. They were all facing a large screen. Tommy, who was, of course, singled out, hadn’t appeared in the pile of messy humans, but off to the side and on one of the chairs. That, of course, made people point the finger at him.
“What did you do, Tommy?” the hybrid with pink hair, Technoblade, growled at her human.
“What makes you think I did something?!” He glared at the pig hybrid.
Before any more accusations were called out, Drista made her human form appear in front of Tommy, “leave him alone! I did this!”
A human, Eret, the former king, scoffed, “how could you have possibly done this?”
Drista smirked, opened her mouth, only to be cut off by George, XD’s human, “Drista, what is this?”
Her face fell, “why you gotta ruin my fun?” She perked up real fast though, “anyway, as George said, my name is Drista! I’m the goddess of chaos and all that fun stuff. This ,” she held her arms wide open, gesturing around before turning and facing Tommy, “is to help my human.”
“I’m sorry, what?! ” Tommy looked at her in confusion and shock. “I’m your what ?”
She smiled softly at the teen, “my human.”
“Oh god,” George groaned out, “not another human obsessed god!”
“I’m sorry, but can we get back on track?” Drista glared at Philza as he spoke, “why are you helping him?”
“You should watch your tone, Philza Minecraft,” her voice was low as she issued her threat. “Death, herself, may love you, but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re playing a very dangerous game.” All was silent for a moment before she brightened once more, “a lot of you don’t seem to understand Tommy, so I decided to show you all some insight!”
Tommy eyed Drista, warily, “what does that mean?”
She turned on her heels, now facing the crowd, “you get to see Tommy’s memories!”
Tommy froze, but his friend(?), a goat hybrid named Tubbo, spoke up, “isn’t that an invasion of privacy?”
“Yeah,” she shrugged, “but it’s for his own good. Plus, since you’re all here, it’s too late to stop it, just delay it.”
“Won’t XD just notice I’m gone and put a stop to this?” George asked.
“He can’t,” she explained, “I mean, he can do something, just not stop you all from seeing this.”
Coincidentally, XD appeared beside Drista, “you’re right, I can’t do anything, but only hand out consequences.” He glanced at Tommy, if he had a mouth, a smirk would’ve formed, “he’ll deal with the consequences of your actions. He won’t die, but,” he paused either being dramatic or just trying to find the right words, “he will suffer.”
Before Drista could respond, the other god vanished. She glanced behind her at her shaking human, “it’s going to be alright. This is going to help, I promise.”
