After the incident a young Powder is suddenly in an entirely different world. Unsurprisingly, not even ending up in a new world could stop her from still becoming Jinx.
This is basically just a preview/prologue for the story!

Directly after blowing up her family accidentally, and having her only member left slap her before ultimately abandoning her, in the midst of her breakdown, she barely even notices the displacement of herself when she's suddenly in a completely different place, no corpses or decimated building around.
An empty alleyway with only a crying and sobbing young child in a city she has no clue about. Gotham.
