Chapter Text

Steve Rogers paced back and forth in Tony Stark's lab, his hand pressed against his lower abdomen. His usual calm and collected demeanor was slipping away as the pressure in his bladder grew unbearable. Tony was engrossed in tinkering with Steve's suit, his back turned, oblivious to Steve’s growing discomfort.

“I don’t understand why you keep needing this thing fixed, Rogers,” Tony muttered to himself, more to his tools than to Steve. “I swear, if this suit wasn’t practically indestructible, I’d have you wear something simpler.”

Steve tried to smile, but the strain in his body made it hard to keep his usual charm. “It’s a complicated suit, Tony. It’s not like I can just wear a pair of jeans.”

Tony grunted in acknowledgment but didn’t look up. He was adjusting the internal components of Steve’s suit, ensuring everything was working perfectly. Steve stood near the workbench, shifting from one foot to the other, trying to ignore the growing pressure on his bladder. He didn’t want to bother Tony right now, especially not when he was so focused on his work. The last thing he wanted was to disrupt Tony's concentration with something as trivial as needing to pee.

Tony paused for a moment, clearly deep in thought. He glanced at Steve and finally noticed the way Steve was squirming. “Something wrong, Cap?” Tony’s voice was light, but his sharp eyes caught the subtle signs of discomfort.

Steve cleared his throat, trying to maintain his composure. “Just… nothing, Tony. Just a little restless, that’s all.”

Tony raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. “Restless, huh? You’re standing like a jack-in-the-box. You’ve got a lot on your mind or something?” He turned fully to face Steve, his expression turning a bit more scrutinizing.

Steve shifted again, his hand inching closer to his abdomen. He could feel it now—a desperate urge, too much to ignore. But the last thing he wanted was to admit he needed a bathroom break. He could hold it. He’d held his own against much worse situations than a full bladder.

“Tony, seriously, I’m fine,” Steve said, forcing a smile. “Really. You’ve got enough on your plate with the suit. Don’t worry about me.”

Tony was unconvinced. He crossed his arms over his chest, narrowing his eyes. “Steve, you’re a terrible liar. What is it? You need to pee?”

Steve froze, his face flushing slightly. “I—no, I don’t,” he stammered, but his body was betraying him. He felt the unmistakable sensation of a leak, and his heart skipped a beat.

Tony’s eyes widened in realization, and a mischievous smirk curled at the corners of his lips. “Oh, you’re seriously doing this now, huh? Holding it? You’re going to be one of those guys?”

Steve clenched his fists, trying to fight off the rising panic. “Tony, please. I can hold it.”

Tony shook his head, now walking over to Steve with a confident stride. “No, you can’t. You’re about to leak all over my floor.” He reached out and grabbed Steve by the arm, guiding him toward the door.

“Tony, it’s just a little longer. I can wait,” Steve protested, his voice strained.

Tony was unrelenting. “Nope. You’ve held it long enough. Let’s get you into a bathroom before you make a mess.”

Steve swallowed hard, the pressure mounting to unbearable levels. As they reached the door, another leak escaped, and Steve clenched his jaw, trying to keep it together. But Tony noticed, of course. Tony always noticed.

“Steve,” Tony sighed, his voice taking on a more serious tone. “Why didn’t you just say something? You know you can’t keep going like this.”

“I didn’t want to interrupt you,” Steve mumbled, feeling both embarrassed and frustrated with himself. “You were working, and I didn’t want to make a fuss.”

Tony stopped in his tracks, his face softening. “Steve, you’re not a burden. But you sure as hell will be if you make a mess in my lab.”

Tony quickly ushered Steve into the nearby bathroom, holding the door open for him. But Steve’s anxiety was reaching a peak, and the closer they got, the harder it was to hold on.

“I’m trying,” Steve muttered through gritted teeth, his legs trembling. He was so close to making it. So close.

Tony raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by the sight of Steve, who was struggling so much to stay composed. “Alright, you’ve got this,” Tony said, his tone more supportive now. “Let’s get that suit off, and you’ll be good to go.”

Steve reached for the top of his suit, his hands shaking. He tugged at the fabric, but the tightness of it, combined with the intense pressure in his bladder, made it impossible to focus. His body quivered, the desperation consuming him.

“Come on, Steve. You’ve got to move faster,” Tony urged, his voice a little more urgent now.

Steve was about to snap at him when another leak escaped, much larger this time. A small gasp left his lips as he fought to regain control. The thought of wetting himself in front of Tony was mortifying.

“Tony, I can’t—” Steve started, but before he could finish the sentence, the floodgates opened, and he felt the warmth of relief spreading. A deep groan of embarrassment escaped him as he stood frozen in place, the sound of his pants soaking audible in the quiet bathroom.

Tony quickly sprang into action, his eyes widening at the situation. “Shit, Steve!” He didn’t even seem fazed by the mess. He just grabbed Steve by the shoulders and steered him toward the toilet. “You couldn’t have just said something, huh? This is ridiculous.”

Steve was beyond mortified. His face was bright red, and his entire body was shaking as he finished emptying his bladder, feeling utterly exposed.

“Okay, okay. There you go,” Tony said as he helped Steve get the suit off the rest of the way. “Let’s get you cleaned up. I should’ve noticed earlier, but you’re a damn stubborn one.”

Steve didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He was relieved but also completely embarrassed. “I’m sorry, Tony,” he mumbled, his head hanging low.

“No need to apologize,” Tony said with a grin, a teasing note in his voice. “Just… next time, don’t hold it until you’re about to burst. You don’t want to see me in my full ‘disappointed parent’ mode again.”

Steve managed a small laugh despite the embarrassment, feeling a bit of the tension ease from his shoulders.

“Yeah, yeah,” Steve said with a rueful smile. “I’ll keep that in mind.”

As Tony helped him get cleaned up and into fresh clothes, Steve felt a mix of relief and gratitude. He’d gotten through it, with Tony’s help. And next time, he wouldn’t be so stubborn.

Tony finished putting away the suit, then turned to Steve with a raised eyebrow. “By the way, Cap. You owe me one for saving you from a potential disaster.”

Steve looked at him with a raised eyebrow. “I’m guessing I won’t be getting a free pass on this one?”

“Not even close,” Tony said with a grin. “But I’ll let it slide, this time. Next time, though… well, we’ll see how long you last.”

Steve sighed but smiled, thankful that Tony had his back in the most embarrassing of moments.
