Work Text:
Business was especially slow that day. Reigen was browsing on the computer and Mob was in the chair, absentmindedly poking his finger in a hole in the fabric.
For lack of anything better to do, Mob got up and got his bag, digging out his bento. At lunch he had finished everything except for his boiled egg, which he fished out before closing his bag.
"Reigen sensei, do you have any salt?"
Reigen perked up at his name and looked over to see the egg in Mob's hand. He pushed out from behind his desk and made his way to Mob, his hands comfortably in his pockets.
"Who do you take me for, an amateur?"
Without warning Reigen crouched, his stance low and looking ready to fight. He pulled his hand from his pocket with a flourish and flung something at Mob, who quickly closed his eyes to avoid getting blinded.
"Salt Splash!" Reigen bellowed in a grand voice.
Mob opened his eyes and Reigen was frozen in the same position, looking at him for approval.
"Th...thanks, sensei." Mob looked down at the egg, small grains of salt coating the surface, along with a stray bit of pocket fuzz.
Reigen straightened up, looking enormously pleased. "Any time."
