Work Text:
I was in the 6th grade when I met Elizabeth Marks she became my best friend. I could remember it like it was yesterday I was on the playground at recess playing on the swing when Eddie Torres pulled me by my hair and pushed me off the swing. Beth had come running to my rescue and yelled at Eddie, kicked him in the groin, and punched him in the face. We were best friends since that day. That was when I knew I would do anything for her. My loyalty to her and my love for her is why I tolerate her bull. Now here I am years later washing money with my best friend for gangfriend. My life turned upside down the minute I was convinced to rob a grocery store with my best friend and her immature sister, If only I listened to my instincts and minded my own business. If I never helped rob that grocery store then I wouldn't have been standing in Beth's kitchen with a gun to my head scared for my life.
