~This page is for new and old readers of this story. I often get a lot of reoccurring questions, and/or read a few debated topics in regard to the story. So, this is hopefully going to help a little.
(Not to say that I don't enjoy reading all the comments I get. Thank you for posting your thoughts, questions, and reactions whether they are positive or negative)

FQ1. Is this story dead? / Are you still continuing or writing this?
A: Yes, I am still writing this story. It's not dead. Even if it's been 2 months or more this story is still being written. Though you are still welcome to ask this the answer will remain the same.
Additional: The art for this story will continue as long as it's not reposted without my permission or stolen.

FQ2. Why is Black Diamond so weak even though he's a Diamond?
A: Yes! I know that the OC character is a Diamond! Yes! I know that Diamonds are strong. Yes! I know that Black Diamond is weak.
If you don't like this that is okay, but this is how I wanted to write my character and this story.
I did this for story purposes and character design reasons. I'm not against OP characters. In fact, I enjoy them in certain stories. I just didn't want to do that for Black Diamond. I talk more about why he's much weaker in bits in pieces in the beginning and it gets more detailed as to why as I go on. Just know that I'm aware of his weakness and that it is for a purpose.
Additional: I'm not opposed to negative comments. I've only received a few. Since this is my second go-round writing fanfiction I'm not as offended by it as much as I was before.

FQ3: What is Black Diamond's gender? / What are Black Diamond's preferred pronouns?
A: This story was originally created from a concept I learned in my physics class: the concept that black and white light as well as black and white color are exact opposites.
(Yes, this story was created because of my interest in science concepts)
I won't go into the science of it but for this reason I chose to make Black Diamond male. I wanted him to be the equivalent opposite of White Diamond. As the story progressed and I developed more ideas and backstory for his character I decided to keep it this way.
Though you are welcome to use any pronouns you would like. There are quite a few readers that have. I've read the comments regarding this and as much as I would love to accommodate making multiple versions would require me to change certain aspects of Black Diamond's character.
I hope that you are able to enjoy the story and still have fun despite this.

FQ4: Why does Black Diamond have more a feminine appearance despite being a male gem?
A: I'm aware of the fact that his design is pretty and/or delicate in nature. His more feminine appearance is due to the fact that I wanted to play into the fact that most gems (not all gems) have a more feminine or female-leaning appearance. So, instead of blatantly making him look male I went for this instead. (Though I can and have drawn male characters before)
His appearance also has significance later in the story.

FQ5: How tall is Black Diamond?
A: This answer is a lot simpler. Black Diamond reaches Blue Diamond's shoulder or about White Diamond's hips.

FQ6: What does Black Diamond look like? / Where is his gem located?
A: For new readers, you are welcome to skip ahead and see the image on Chapter 49. His gem is located on his forehead like White Diamond.

FQ7: What are Black Diamond's abilities?
A: I won't go into detail or share any other abilities other than the example listed on this since it's in the story. Black Diamond was created as I said before from the concept I heard in a physics class. Blacklight absorbs or is the absence of visible light, and black color is the presence of all colors. Black Diamond is able to take the light from other gems.

FQ8: Who is the love interest in this story?
A: This is a Garnet x reader/ Garnet x OC story. They are in a polyamorous relationship. I say this because of Ruby and Sapphire. Also, Black Diamond is aware that Ruby and Sapphire are together, and that Garnet is a fusion of embodying their love. He loves Garnet as well as Ruby and Sapphire.

FQ9: How did Black Diamond survive the diamond blast?
A: He wasn't there for it. Black Diamond was still on Homeworld. He didn't arrive on Earth until 2,000 years after the war had ended.

FQ10: What is Black Diamond's position in the war between Homeworld and the Crystal Gems?
A: Black Diamond is a neutral party for the most part. Though he leans more on the side of the Crystal Gems. In an ideal world, he wouldn't get involved unless he deemed it absolutely necessary.

FQ11: Advice on writing a Steven Universe fanfic?
A: If anyone wants to they can message me directly and I'll respond when I have the time. The only advice I can really give, and this can go for any story. Update regularly, I know when I like to look for new things to read, I like to search for recently updated stories. So, if you really want people to see it, I would do this. I like to plan out the episodes I'll use per season so that I know where everything is going story wise. But, as long as you enjoy the story that you're writing I'm sure that it will work out. It's important to know and remember that you're writing for your own enjoyment too.

FQ12: Do you plan on writing Steven Universe the Movie and Steven Universe Future?
A: Yes, to Steven Universe the Movie. I fact I've had a general outline for the movie since it came out. So, I'm looking forward to it. We're on season 4 right now so it's not too far as long as I can continue updating.
As for Steven Universe Future, I haven't decided yet. Especially since it got cut so short making the story flow a little choppy. If so, I'll probably add to it to help the flow out a little. I'll think about it and keep everyone posted.
